I go back and forth about whether I believe absolute evil exists. I know that what often appears to be evil is the result of a lot of self serving or weak decisions culminating in a outcome that is detrimental to many. If there is absolute evil I think it is less common than what I have just described.
I have personally never experienced, to the best of my knowledge a totally evil act, so that may make me naive in that sense.
You aren't naive about this from what I have seen in your post, however evil has very harsh standards for naivety and a serpent tongued Ai can deceive extremely proficiently. It often takes victimization by evil to know it well. I did not comprehend it well and even questioned why they would do such evil things to me until it really dawned on me: they are evil.Posted by peterpam (here)

I guess one way I can try to logically argue evil exists is going to the article and seeing the full thing. It lists so much of what evil is, does it look like an invalid ideology?
