I have a hunch we’ll get a post from Bill on this thread.

Mark Twain was born during one passage of Comet Halley and died at the age of 76 during its next passage in 1911. Somehow he knew this was going to happen. Maybe this is why he didn’t believe that story he once read in the newspaper: ‘the report of my death was an exaggeration’. This raises two questions: how would he know the time of his death from the time of his birth? And what astrological or other phenomenon was playing out here?
Here is another quote that may also apply to Bob Dean: "Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." http://www.cmgww.com/historic/twain/about/index.php

Bob Dean - you are a Rock Star!

Most of us LOVE THIS MAN - and we haven't even met him.

Hope Bob is kicking back with a good choice of drink right now - warm in the knowledge that his fans reach right around the universe.

You've gotta love that dear, wonderful, old soul. He is a treasure. I have fond memories of Bob at the Awake and Aware Conference.

I wonder if more conferences are planned by Camelot?

    Hi everyone, aloha!

It's been quite some time since I've participated in this forum, was an active member from 2009-2011...but since then have focused my energy's on my blog - the one listed in the first post on this thread regarding rumor's of Bob's alleged passing over.

    http://ascendingstarseed.wordpress.c...dean-thank-you

Just wanted to clear things up on where the rumor started, as I believe it was an honest misunderstanding with information my source received. The news was shared by Mark Hoza who launched the Blue Star Enterprises forum on skype, he works with Ralph Rings team on teleportation tech. Apparently Mark was told by Walter the producer, that the previously unpublished interview with Bob Dean was posted to honor Bob's (alleged) transition. Originally the video was part of a package deal that was being sold for broadcast, but was released in respect to Bob and his fans.

That's all I know. From what I know of Ralph Ring, the Blue Star Enterprises team and Mark, they're highly credible and not the type to spread false rumors. IMO this was an honest misunderstanding. And, "my bad" for not thoroughly vetting the information. I should know better, because sometimes even the most trusted sources get it wrong, then you find yourself stepping on a landmine.

I apologize for any misunderstandings, pain or confusion this post may have caused. So I just wanted to clear the air and set the record straight here for Project Avalon members.

    Thank you!

PLEASE EDIT THAT BLOG POST (SPECIFICALLY CHANGING THE TITLE) — OR REMOVE IT COMPLETELY.

People are still reading it and believing the news. It comes up in Google search results when people check to see if Bob has died or not.

Please fix that now. Marcia Schafer (Bob's wife) wrote to me again this morning despairing that it was still up for everyone to read.

Thanks for the reminder Bill, just so she knows...yesterday in an effort to clean up the mess, I did a retraction on the blog and in all the groups where it was posted on FB. Please express my deepest regret and heartfelt apology to Marcia and Bob for the misunderstanding and any distress it caused. I tried to friend Richard Dolan yesterday on FB to see if he could pass the message on to them, but his "friend quota" has exceeded it's limits.

Also, just to be clear...I didn't start the rumor and neither did Mark Hoza, it came from one of his sources and appears to be an honest mistake on his part.

    Here's the retraction post http://wp.me/p17PKt-9qm

    Blessings to All,
    Annette

    Thank you so much.

Marcia wrote to me again last night saying this had caused 'havoc in their lives'. I was able just now (early morning, Friday) to reply in full, with all links and references, reassuring her (and Bob) that it was all handled now. I quoted her your full post above so she could read it herself.

The moral of the story may be something about good journalistic protocols. The more important a story is, and the greater impact it might have on certain individuals, the more important it is to check it in detail before going public.

Or else, without thinking about it, we're doing no better than children in the playground whispering exciting nonsense to each other. The internet is FULL of this.

Rather than taking one [well-meaning] person's word for something, there are always ways of checking stories, even indirectly. For instance — easy with a very small amount of digging! — most people know that Marcia Schafer is Bob's wife (Camelot interviewed them both together), it's dead simple to find her website, and once on her site it's just as simple to send a message to her. And others like Kerry, myself, or Rich Dolan (many others, too) would be more than happy to help immediately with something like this.

Learning for all, then. Including for those who picked up your page and re-posted it without thinking or checking.

Thanks again for the correction... all humans make mistakes (and encounter problems!) — but the test is always how we then each respond to that.

Not that I have heard in public, why do you ask ?
have you heard something or just wondering ?

Kerry did say relatively recently that he was getting
frail and his wife was limiting his contact with people
wishing to speak to him as it was over stimulating or
    something ?

He's still with us. I'd certainly have been quickly informed if otherwise. But I do believe he is very frail.

Good to know for sure! Can't help but love that man & be SO thankful for all he has contributed! I thought it was interesting Kerry said that David Adair is one who is allowed contact with him.... still. In my opinion, they are both Top Drawer!!
