Very good question, and I've been thinking hard about this. It really depends on what 'the wider media' means, and what a 'journalist' is.

As many reading this will know, Avalon is periodically referenced by other researchers (publicly and privately), and there's quite a lot of research information (e.g.) about Corey Goode, David Wilcock, Pete Peterson, Emery Smith, Andrew Basiago (and many others!) which has been very much appreciated by others. But those are all very small fish in a very large pond.

Regarding the bigger picture (more global events, and more influential personalities), I can't be sure. Most mainstream journalists are told (or strongly guided) what to write and what to write about, and regard platforms like ours as very 'fringe'.

But I'd not at all be surprised if some did quietly look into what we present and discuss here: we regularly have 10-15x as many guests as members reading at any one time, and periodically I do get private emails from people who are quite well-connected and very much appreciate everything we do here.

Why dont you trust TTSA? Personally i believe Tom DeLonge is sincere in what he tries to do. And he has surrounded himself with a lot of insider people from USA govement and military and i think there are both white hats and black hats in that too. So maybe it can go either way?

Well, I'm far from alone in the UFO research community in not trusting TTSA at all. In fact, the ONLY researchers of prominence who give TTSA quite a lot of slack are Richard Dolan and Linda Howe. While I respect them both very highly, I do think they're being rather naive.

Besides serious problems like Louis Elizondo flatly refusing to give an interview to either John Greenewald (from the Black Vault) or Rich Dolan himself — one suspects because their questions would be far too penetrating and awkward for Elizondo to answer — as Rich Dolan has pointed out many times, TTSA seems to be completely ignoring the enormous body of established and well-documented UFO history.

They're pretty much pretending that the information they present is something new, and that AATIP/AWSAP is the first established attempt of the US government to research the UFO phenomenon. Of course, nothing could be further from the truth.

In fact, when the Admiral Wilson document emerged, TTSA just ignored that as well — rather that seizing on it as further strong evidence to support their 'case'. It was too difficult for them to acknowledge or deal with in any way, as it wasn't in their controlled narrative and the release hadn't been planned and controlled by them.

Where I believe Richard Dolan is being naive in crediting TTSA (to some degree), is that TTSA present some things which are true, and omit a very great deal else. Richard himself has said on record that 'they lie'. That's problematic — because what they're presenting is the exact definition of disinformation.

I take William (Bill) Tompkins' testimony with quite a large pinch of salt: he did work for Douglas Aerospace in the 50s, for sure, but he was only a draftsman. He wasn't an engineer, ever, and it's highly unlikely that he would have been exposed to all the things he said he was. And kilometer-long mad-made spacecraft in the early 1950s are regarded by most researchers as ridiculous. (Certainly by me.)

In addition to that, his book is a really poorly-written dog's breakfast of adolescent anecdotes, which Richard Dolan said he could not possibly publish. (He was offered the publication rights first.) All that calls Tompkins' entire testimony into serious question.

But having said that, there are very likely to be all kinds of ET races with bases on the moon (including reptilians), and yes, it's entirely likely that the human race has been genetically modified in a number of ways. Just how, and why, we might all speculate. Regarding the food source claims, which do surface now and then,.I actually take that seriously. From Project Camelot's 'Henry Deacon', here:

Bill i have read the book of Enoch ... it states near the beginning that this book is for a remote future generation ... If the Fallen Angels are Aliens / Reptilians / Watchers ... it would seem to ME as if this story has already reached completion several times ... The Bible speaks of Eve being corrupted by the serpent ...it speaks of the end times and when i read the story about the Nephilim and how all flesh had become corrupted ... It made ME think of Dulce and the experiments which were said to of been going on there since god knows when .... Bill is it possible that WE the human race are only allowed to advance so far before something dramatic happens ? We were meant to of landed on the Moon in 1969 but recently Nasa had the gall to claim that WE had lost this technology ... In all them years we have gained computers and smart phones and the internet etc etc but in the fields of propulsion we seem to be standing still ... I sometimes wander whether we are being drip fed just enough technology to keep us all occupied ... Do you think high technology has existed within a human civilization on Earth before ? Yes, here we are on Ben Nevis in Scotland (Paul is on the right)... and we keep in touch, for sure. But he lives in England, so sadly I've not seen him for over a decade.

I watched it with interest, but as a mountaineer myself I confess it didn't really do much for me. I found it just a little too 'silly', when for me the subject is really quite a serious one — and there are MANY mountaineering-human-interest issues to make short films about, all fascinating and thought-provoking. But I can very sincerely appreciate how some others may have enjoyed it.

What that made me think of was Linda Howe's testimony from a contact in one of the agencies (was it the DIA? I'd need to check) that the ETs have been watching this planet, and managing it in various ways, for (I believe from memory) some 200 million years, all as a kid of ultra long term experiment.

Linda went on to remark that considering the dinosaurs were wiped out by an asteroid impact 66 million years ago, and the ETs surely had the technology to prevent that — the implication is that they allowed it to happen, and for their dinosaur experiment to be terminated.

That in turn implies that the human race may just be another phase of the whole experiment. Not necessarily its conclusion! And finally, the last implication is that yes, if there's any truth to this, the 'human experiment' could easily be terminated too, to be replaced with another life form yet again.

I'm afraid I don't know any more about Freemasonry than anyone else reading this. I don't know anyone personally who's a Mason, but my guess is that at the higher levels it gets compartmentalized into different secretive factions, some of which are benevolent while others are not.

Yes, quite a few expats do return after a couple of years to the US (or Canada, or Europe). Reasons vary, but they might include:

• Initially moving because of fear of big problems at home, which haven't come to pass
• Missing other members of their family, who didn't want to move (and close friends, as well)
• Climate (hard to be in Ecuador if you've come from Southern California or Florida!)
• Feeling like a Stranger in a Strange Land, often exacerbated by language problems.
• Missing the easy amenities of huge shopping malls, movie theaters, drive-in fast food, Texas steaks, English language TV, RV campgrounds, prompt and efficient professional services (of every kind) — and much more!

Bill thx for your answer. I just found this thread just now or i would have asked the questions i did in here and not on a random topic.

I have watched the documentary you posted from the Dark Journalist and it was really interesting. I havent watched anything from him before. A question that arises. He talks a bit about mystery schools of sort of a counterweight against secret societys and that Martin Luther Kind and Ghandi were involved with Mystery Schools. Now he talks about the 4th way School and also Steiner. This interests me alot because im allways wondering why it is so hard to find out the real guidelines to life on Earth. This ancient knowledge should be somewhere. And Steiner i find particularly interesting because i have researched organic farming (even made my profession of it) alot and i come originally from a side of New Age in which i also read about Steiner.

So my question now is what do you know about mystery schools ( i havent really heard about them alot myself ) and what are your thoughts on Steiner and the 4d way School? And would you categorize Scientology also as a mystery school?

I confess I actually know very little about the Mystery Schools (or Steiner, or the Fourth Way). But interestingly, I do know the person personally, now a high-level Ron's Org (independent) scientologist, who was Helena Blavatsky, the co-founder of the Theosophical Society, a couple of lifetimes earlier.

She told me simply (my slight paraphrase): "I made a lot of mistakes, and got a lot of things wrong." I've known this person very very well for 30 years, and I'm 100% certain they're telling the truth as they know it. This woman is absolutely the most wonderful person, one of the finest people I've ever been privileged to know.

Is scientology a 'Mystery School'? Well, as best I understand the definition, yes. But there are anomalies and paradoxes galore, and I invite and welcome all questions. The organization, and Hubbard himself, were both highly flawed, and that's a wild understatement. They were both way worse than that. But the developed techniques really do work (in ethical and well-trained hands) and sometimes very dramatically.
