    Assuming that whatever we focus on gets bigger, I wonder if negative news, true or false, is a tool used by the dark side. If yes then we become their loyal opposition, using our collective creative energies to create something we do not want. Any thoughts Bill?

    Yet solving any problem using the scientific method first requires the problem be recognized and defined. This appears to be a balancing act, where placement of the fulcrum is different for each individual. Read the news or look at puppy videos on Facebook.

    Well, souls can always go off to any other planet to incarnate — if they choose to. They're not bound in some way to Planet Earth, apart from by their own desire to stay 'on home ground' and continue their own goals and purposes, which may be long-term, and very important to them.

    But yes, it might well be difficult for a soul to make the decision to move on to take up a different kind of body on another planet, all of which may be very unfamiliar and where there may also not be anyone else they know, or have ever known.

    There are many more souls than bodies anyway, and many of them do hang around watching — or 'playing games' (as it were: a loose term) on other non-physical levels. Remaining in close contact with old friends is always a major factor. It's a little like emigrating to the 'New World' on a one-way sailing ship a few hundred years ago. It took a lot of courage and commitment to make that no-return decision, though whole families might have traveled together. (Unlike that analogy, though, souls can always come back quite easily next time round if they feel they made a bad call.)
    What about intelligent animals like Dog, Cat, Horse, Dolphin, Whale? Can we incarnate into them? Do all of them are beings like us, and can incarnate into a Human body? Or only few of them have spirits and others are just robots?

    What about the lower intelligent organisms like Prons, Ant, Mosquitos, Birds, Bees? Are they just robot like bodies without any spirit? And if so then can a being enter into them and experience life from its eyes?

    Who is the most powerful human psychic you've met?

    What phenomena have you witnessed firsthand as a direct result of someone utilizing psychic ability to effect the physical world?

    What did Charles tell you that scares you most/scares him most?

    Dear Bill,

    Is your knowledge about souls/reincarnation a result of your direct experience?

    I am most interested in the story around your own reincarnation to planet earth (as Bill Ryan). Can you please go into greater detail?

    Do you believe in concurrent lifetimes? (if there is no "time" as such). Have you/do you experience this?

    A light body simply means just that ...you feel lighter and more at ease in this vessel.
    There is a shine also, less density, a spark in the eyes. Usually, this is in tandem with good health: eating well, exercising, states of loving kindness. You are not bogged down by negativity. It is not about being "special" just congruency with inner light--perhaps what can be named as soul (my unscientific explanation). So too babies, children, and oftentimes the elderly as they approach the veil of Death.

    So do you have an awareness of this? Or if you still have no idea what I mean, that is cool too...

    Thank you again, Bill

    Bill have you made a plan for what you will do when croaking time gets here? Will you avoid the light tunnel, maintain a strong intention to return to Source and look for a hole in the electronic fence overhead to make your exit?

    But regarding how we operate as a moderators team, almost everything we do is by genuine consensus. It's a myth that I somehow make all the calls and everyone else follows in lockstep... the others in the team will all confirm that! Between us, we have a wide variety of opinions about many things, but I feel we're always able to work well together to make good decisions between us.
    Confirming.

    What keeps us working well together is mutual trust and respect, which is easy coz they’re a bunch of sweethearts. With that foundation we can be open and direct with each other without risk of offence, and there’s no pressure to agree with anyone or everyone. We don’t argue much because each voice is valued as a different view, so differing or even opposing opinions aren’t felt as a conflict, most of the time. This might be why some people get the impression that we just all follow Bill? I don’t think he’d like that anyway.

    Dear Bill, friends at Avalon,

    we took an involuntary leave in the last months, due to Daniela’s health problems, with a very bad Ulcerative Colitis, which got us to spend some weeks in hospital in two different episodes. Luckily, she could avoid the colectomy, but we have seen the heavy side effects of cortisone… so she is now investigating natural cures to use in parallel.
    By the way, she was in the hospital in serious conditions when we received a PM by Chris, offering us a free treatment by the Inanna entity including soul extraction (you may remember that curious thread by Chris).

    We think this new thread by Bill is a great invitation, which we accept and respond to with three questions...

    1 - About Switzerland! We had mixed feeling about this country, but we have recently discovered that it has positive, advanced, institutions, (like Dr. Bircher’s nature cure clinic). Now we learned also Bill lived there, and considers it such an interesting place to live in (having a good job, of course).

    Bill, what have you found in Switzerland to make it so attractive? For example, is it a place where positive, constructive initiatives, like your conferences, or the development of man’s interiority find a fertile ground, and interested people?

    2- On Inelia Benz! We had got in contact with Inelia Benz and attended some of her conferences (in Barcelona), and while we believe she is a well meaning person, we could not avoid noticing some contradictions in her arguments and deeds. Also, we had always wondered what has happened to the initiative which Bill had launched with Inelia a few years ago. So now, hearing Bill talk of the “booby traps” around her we wondered if together we can make sense of “puzzling” facts about her mission.

    Bill, is there something you can share about those “booby traps”, to help sincere spiritual searchers to avoid unnecessary trouble or wasting years of their time?

    3 - Finally, our purpose in life, and its possible connection with that of other souls, some of them orbiting around Avalon...
    We pursue inner knowledge, and on a small scale (meetups/website) are spreading what we have learned, or created, like new didactic methods based on self awareness (conscious learning).
    Of course it would be happier and more productive to work on something common, side by side with other souls who want to evolve and help evolution of mankind on a spiritual level. That may go through a closer collaboration, or even co-location at some point.

    Bill, based on the experience learned, and thinking of the next few decades, do you consider you’d want to give a second opportunity to the community (in Ecuador or elsewhere) ? Perhaps it could be a base for outreach activities, where information is spread along with practice, on psychic and physical health, spiritual awareness, etc., to help not only members of Avalon but everyone, to develop both “legs” (Knowledge and Being) in harmony?Think of Kamar-Taj, Dr Strange’s initiation temple

    thank you very much!!

    Hi Bill, This is not a question. This thread has been the best: informative, inclusive and engaging I have seen in many years. I know you don't have doubts (about what you do), but if you did, kudos to the questions and your honest replies, that are a testimony to the strength of your commitment and to the power of Avalon.

    Hey Bill, thanks for this thread. I was really interested to read you had done the EST training back in the day, as I've recently done quite a number of the Landmark offerings, which began with Erhard's work.
    Excellent. Yes, powerful stuff. I did a few Landmark events myself in San Francisco in 2005, which I was able to do having done the est training back in the 80s. Anyone who'd done est was welcomed and acknowledged.

    (For anyone unfamiliar with this: the est training came first, in 1971 — the lower case 'est' was always deliberate, btw — and then that morphed into Landmark Education 20 years later. The Landmark training was shorter and more condensed, but just as effective.)

    My question: if you can shift, augment or further highlight absolutely any aspect of the forum and the way PA currently presents to the world, what would it be and why? To further hone the question, do you see any aspect at all of how PA presents to the world as being in any way problematic?
    The main problem, as I see it, is that forums are far less popular than they were in the earlier days of the net. Even though those early 1990s 'bulletin boards' were a 'fast-food' way of communication, so to speak, people now living almost their whole lives on cellphones and tweets make forums look (to some) as cumbersome as a heavy book. (And even Facebook seems rather cumbersome now.)

    But there's not a thing we can do about this, as we're locked into the infrastructure of the vBulletin forum software. There's almost nothing that can be done to optimize or customize it.

    It really does bother me that if you look at the Welcome to Avalon thread, where new members post to say Hello to activate their account, about 50% of the new members there show just two posts: their application (invisible to other forum members), and their welcome post.

    Literally thousands have never posted again — though many, of course, do read regularly as quiet guests. Exactly why it's like this is an unanswered question, but one possibility has to be that the forum may seem like a bewildering and sometimes discouraging labyrinth to navigate for someone new, despite our every effort to explain things and make things as clear and friendly as possible.

    How we deal with this is something I've thought about at length, and haven't yet had any thing that might qualify as a bright idea. Attention span has to be a part of this. In prior decades, someone would have given themselves a good half hour over a cup of tea to sit quietly and find their way around. Now, if they can't figure it all out in two minutes flat, they may tweet their friends to meet for a coffee instead. This is the brave, accelerated new world we're rushing towards. See my remarks on this thread...
    ... about Alvin Toffler's seminal and prophetic 1970 book, Future Shock.

    The apparent impediment to new members (or even visitors) learning how to navigate the forum is important, because in my strong opinion the quality of the discussion and information here is significant, as is the high level of awareness of the entire community.

    We regularly read compliments from the new member applicants that they've never seen such a high degree of intelligence and civility in any sizeable discussion group on the net. Compare that with something like 4chan or 8chan, or even reddit or Godlike Productions, and sometimes it's like Socrates and his erudite friends in the Athenian marketplace vs. a bunch of apes hitting each other over the head with coconuts.

    Where might all this go in the end? I genuinely have no idea, and it may be worth a new thread in itself to talk about it all.

    What is your position on the red haired giants and the Paracas skulls?

    Many thanks!
    It's 100% clear to me (and I think can be to anyone, after a tiny bit of investigation) that the Paracas skulls aren't the result of ritual cranial deformation ('head-binding'), but have a larger cranial capacity (i.e. bigger brains: go figure), as well as some minor but important anatomical differences in the cranial bone structure.

    That means that they're a slightly different species of hominid. The implications of this are enormous. And the most intriguing thing is that it seems clear that they were around just 2,500 years ago, and maybe more recently than that.

    So where are they now? What happened? And where did they come from, anyway? Why don't they seem to be anywhere in the older (more ancient) hominid fossil record? Many researchers would love to know those answers.

    The other intriguing question is that there's clearly a cover-up of all this by the mainstream anthropological community, such as those in the Smithsonian Institution or anyone who depends on a university grant for their livelihood, some of whom MUST know about this species. This is a little hard to understand. Why wouldn't they want this information to be publicly known?

    There are a few possible answers that have occurred to me...
    • They really are still alive somewhere on the planet, but are hidden away and somehow connected with positions of influence in the world.
    • They may not be physically here on Planet Earth, but may still have some influence on events or policies, and have ordered their existence to be kept classified.
    • Whoever's making these decisions doesn't want it to be known — for human-ego reasons — that actually, we're all just the dumb kid brothers and sisters of some more smarter and more advanced members of our family.
    ... and there may be many more possible answers which haven't.

    What can change the nature of a man ?
    A woman.

    Maybe, but much tougher than raising children -what a f job to give to women!! I need a drink.
    This may deserve a new thread in itself.

    What I really meant was that in the presence of the right woman, a man will change himself.

    Dearest Bill

    Where do you envisage Project Avalon (forum and otherwise) being in the next ten, twenty, thirty years and beyond?

    Well, a starting point may be my reply to Rahkyt, in post #534 just above. That remarks on the changes in technology, social media platforms, and the shortening of people's attention spans that go along with all this.

    And, futurist Alvin Toffler's important and prophetic book, Future Shock. The Twitter version of the book's thesis is that the rate of change of everything in society is accelerating faster and faster to the point where many people won't be able to cope with it any more.

    We're already most of the way there, which is why many people prefer tweets, cellphone texts and Facebook posts to forum discussion. It's like a bite of a burger or a handful of chips compared to a slow, well-cooked, nine course meal. (And, it might have the same nutritional value.)

    So where a forum like this might be in that kind of accelerated fast-forward world is hard to imagine. I fear it might be where books will be... in a specialist, geeky, Luddite corner of the fast-flow information exchange society, where everything is in simply digestible very tiny pieces that fit well with a 30 second attention span.

    I do NOT want a world like that. But as if we're falling together off a high cliff, this is where we're all going.

    What legacy(s) would you like to leave behind you when you leave this planet?

    That's a fun idea, to kind of write my own obituary. (I've never done that! It's an unusual challenge.)
    * By the way, this is an opportunity to tell my favorite joke. British comedian Spike Milligan said that on his gravestone he'd like to have inscribed:

    I TOLD YOU I WAS SICK.

    As many may recognize, and I do recognize about myself, I'm a somewhat of a polymath. That's a fancy way of saying that I'm a jack of all trades. I know quite a lot about quite a lot of stuff. But I'm not a world-class specialist in anything.

    As I wrote in my post #372 here:
    I'm a generalist. I know a lot about a lot of things. This thread kind of epitomizes that. There's an irony here regarding Kerry Cassidy, as well, which topic comes up several times in this thread. She never knew enough to realize that I really did know a huge amount. (Read that sentence again! It's true.)

    If there was a kind of Alternative Media Olympics, I might be the gold medal decathlete, really. But I'd not win any other track and field event. Which other UFO researchers know ALL about sea monsters, reincarnation, alternative medicine, astrophysics, aerospace, ancient history, paleontology, and the Holographic Universe? (And climb mountains, as well.)
    So I guess that might be acknowledged. More important than what I feel I may know about, is how I try to conduct myself. I have critics out there on the internet, and I confess I've never really understand why. Not really. I really do try to be the best I can, in all ways, with all people, every day. Someone once said: character is what you display when no-one else is looking. I do think I might show some of that, in some ways.

    It's not bragging: far from it, though to my critics they might make it out to sound like that. It's hard to find the right words, but some reading this will know what I mean. It's a kind of moving meditation, a mindfulness, an awareness of who I am and what I am.

    Always making sure that moment of conscious choice is there, as much as I can make that happen, just before anything I commit to do or say or write. We can all do that. It's not any kind of special trick.

    I long ago stopped being ambitious, or feeling that I had to somehow compete against others. As many reading this may know, I was in Tibet for 1000 years before I incarnated in the west in 1850, and it's possible that at long last I've kind of reconnected with at least some of that great spiritual legacy.

    I see much with a kind of exterior view, and I allow others to do their thing without feeling I have to be there in the melée, or that (in most cases!) that I have to interfere. I'm aware that I'm a kind of teacher, and so I try to conduct myself accordingly. As the Dalai Lama once summarized at the very end of a long address: (This is a good tweet, too!) My religion is kindness.

    The best way that I can cram all that (in small print!) on to a Spike-Milligan-sized gravestone is to say that if I were to end this lifetime tomorrow, I'd be quite delighted with everything I've accomplished and experienced and learned and grown to understand and embrace — which is really quite a lot: definitely enough for 10 people, or just maybe even 100.

    If you could be anything, do anything, be with anyone without any limitations, what would you ultimately love to do?

    I'd like to see all my old friends who I've not seen for many years... and see some friends (in person) for the first time who I've never seen at all.

    I guess this goes hand-in-hand with another question for you being; What is your hearts greatest desire?

    That's a little like asking me about goals and ambitions. I really don't have anything like that. I don't spend any time thinking: "Wow, I WISH WISH WISH such-and-such might happen."

    What are you passionate about? What are you completely bonkers about?

    You know, that varies. I can get totally absorbed in arcane, specialized things sometimes for several days at a time.

    Last year, I spent 3 or 4 days doing nothing else from dawn to dusk than studying who 'Shakespeare' might have really been. (He wasn't the illiterate Will Shakespeare from Stratford-on-Avon, for sure.) The year before that, I spent an entire solid week doing nothing but everything I could find about Mary Magdalene.

    And at any other time, it might be Bigfoot, or Climate Change, or Time Slips, or Mount Everest, or Water Fasting, or Regression Techniques, or where Shambhala really was. It just depends what grabs me at the time, and sometimes the smallest question can trigger quite a big mini-research project that I dive headlong into for a few days until I come out the other side.

    As a physical activity (rather than an intellectual activity), my passion is hiking — or, in earlier years, serious roped climbing — in the mountains here, or anywhere. I'd still be passionate about rock climbing if I (a) had a partner, and (b) anywhere to climb. (There really is nowhere here, paradoxically: the rock is all the wrong kind.) As many know, I venture into the high mountains periodically, where I'm often alone and silent, and that connection with what really is wilderness by most standards truly does offer food for the soul.

    Yes, it's easy to get locked into a mindset, and then the whole world around us seems to start reinforcing that. If we decide we're lovable, then guess what: we experiencing people loving us. And vice versa... if we decide there are enemies all around, then conflict and opposition might be all we get to see coming at us.

    So that has to work in the bigger picture, too. I do think about that. We all have filters, especially the person who insists they have none. Those filters create the world we experience and believe is out there. How the world really is, we have to kind of deduce from a large pile of available evidence that we carefully collect... we can't take it at face value, and we certainly can't figure it out from watching YouTube videos.

    Ha. Great questions.

    The spiritual (non-physical) part of the human body consists of two elements: the soul or spirit, which is who you and I really are, and another entity which we could call the Body Intelligence. I wrote about that on this thread, of the same name.
    Animals (and plants, too!) just have a body intelligence. Not a larger soul or spirit as well, that's driving the whole vehicle, as it were. The one exception MIGHT be whales and dolphins (we're leaving Bigfoot out of this ), who possibly might have larger single spirits in them. I do know that many people contend that that's the case.

    It is possible for a human to incarnate into (or inhabit) an animal's body. I once knew a regression therapist who'd assisted a person who'd been a fighter pilot in World War II. His client had been shot down into a field where he died instantly in the crash. His spirit went straight out of his body and directly into a nearby cow. Not a joke! He was then in that cow for a year or so until it was slaughtered. After that, he was born [in] a human again. (Not surprisingly, maybe.)

    Of course the problem is that that the 'hardware interface' that the spirit uses (the brain) needs to be sophisticated and well-developed. Or else it's like a skilled computer operator using a tiny processor that can't really do a thing. Whatever their own intelligence and ability, as an operator, they're totally limited by what the processor's capabilities are.

    This is how come one can see very spiritually and emotionally aware people who may not have a high IQ (advanced mature spirit / regular brain) ... and very high IQ people who are just rather dumb in any other way than solving math puzzles (undeveloped spirit / fast advanced brain). One ideally needs both.

    Regarding whether a dog or a horse can incarnate into a human body... the answer is no. There's no single big spirit in there to incarnate. But the body intelligence of a horse or a dog can be very sophisticated, and can have its own personality — of course.

    This is one reason why being a human is so complicated. We have the body intelligence (at least as sophisticated as a horse or a dog) AND a powerful, able spiritual being in there, as well. And to make it all even more complicated, the body intelligence reincarnates too. So things can get mighty confused.

    This is sometimes (or maybe often) the course of internal gender conflict. The powerful, able spiritual being may have been in a male body for the last 100 lifetimes. But if his Body Intelligence was in a female body for 100 lifetimes, and the spiritual being made a mistake by teaming up with the 'wrong' Body Intelligence (because it's a team thing: usually, the spiritual being chooses a Body Intelligence they're familiar with and have worked with/been with before) — then this explain why a man might feel he's 'in a woman's body'.

    And there'll be immense internal pressure from the Body Intelligence (which is like specialized software) to change the HARDWARE (the genetic composition) into the woman's body that it's used to. All this can completely overwhelm the spiritual being, who becomes very conflicted and unhappy, and has absolutely NO idea what's happening, or why.

    The above is just the tip of a huge iceberg of complexity... I'd be very happy to answer further questions about it.

    Who is the most powerful human psychic you've met?

    What phenomena have you witnessed firsthand as a direct result of someone utilizing psychic ability to effect the physical world?

    What did Charles tell you that scares you most/scares him most?
    1. Inelia. (But this was only based on her personal stories from the past, which I do believe.)

    2. Myself, when this happened. (Or, it might have been Kathy. No way to tell.)
    I'll copy and paste the fun story:

    ~~~
    Back in 2015, Kathy Collins, who is an SRA (Satanic Ritual Abuse) survivor, was visiting Ecuador. She stayed with me for a while, and we recorded a video of her extraordinary testimony. (Aside: this is the best and most important video I've ever done. It should have had a million views on YouTube.)
    One evening, we'd been talking late into the night in the kitchen of my farmhouse here. As we often did, she was sharing more and more of her experiences. I was just listening well. (That's really all one can do in situations like this, though Kathy and I did do a handful of regressions to recover some more of her buried memories.)
    At the end of the evening, she was ready to go to bed, in the little cabin where she was staying. As she got up to leave, I went to give her a big goodnight hug.
    In doing so, I looked over her shoulder, through the glass window of the kitchen door. And there I could see my old 1986 Isuzu Trooper, weighing a ton and a half, which had been parked outside the kitchen, rolling away all on its own at walking pace.
    I let go of Kathy immediately, sprinted outside, and leaped into the driver's door to apply the handbrake. It stopped.
    What had happened was impossible. The handbrake was NOT on, as it's never needed. The grassy ground outside the kitchen is pretty rough. The vehicle always stays right there on its own. I couldn't even have pushed it an inch with all my strength. It'd have needed an elephant to shift it.
    I can't know for sure if it was me, or Kathy, that did that. I'd strongly suspect it was her, as she'd been talking about her very terrible childhood experiences all evening.
    I sensed no malevolent presence, such as a poltergeist — which would have had to be a very big one! What I do think this shows is the immense potential psychic power we all have unharnessed within us.
    3. Nothing that was scary, for either of us, as best I remember.
