Let's divide by zero!

4/0=4. You've got 4, you divide by nothing, means you don't divide, you've got still 4 left.

0/4=0. Clearly you can't divide nothing.

But! Why 4*0=0? You've got 4 you multiply by nothing, means you don't multiply, you've got still 4 left actually!

I'm not a math expert, but wouldn't it be easier if we'd use X instead of 0? 10 (ten) and x (zero, nothing).

x,12+x,24=x,36 ?

Imagine a person walks straight after the goal without looking on what its walking. A smart person in the other hand looks down and realizes there's a deep ravine! The smart person goes around and uses the bridge. With different words, I do know that you don't approach a division like that. But are we machines? The answer is 4.
