Default Mass shooting - California Dance Bar

Yet another shooter event over there - reports here in Aus that the bearded gunman wearing sunglasses and trenchcoat shot a bouncer and others including a deputy sheriff.

It brings up interesting questions. You hear solutions like gun control, but does gun control and intense legislation like there is in California stop something like this? What if others were allowed to carry weapons? Would that have at least minimized the deaths? What if there were no guns, would someone this unstable have manifested his hate and anger using a knife, a bomb, a car or truck? Is the real problem a very sick culture?

"50 or 60" Las Vegas shooting survivors were in the bar, according to reports, see below.

What are the odds of that?

    It beggars belief.

Victims speaking "I went through the most terrifying and horrific experience of my life in Las Vegas, and not only did I not have PTSD from that experience, I went into a very public dance bar and it happened again. Wow, thank God I can laugh about it."
"The only true currency in this bankrupt world is what we share with someone when we are uncool." From the movie "Almost Famous""l "Let yourself stand cool and composed before a million universes." Walt Whitman

Maybe its kind of like that movie Final Destination where people would come very close to death and then death chased them after that till it got them.

Here's an article from the NY Times:

    https://www.nytimes.com/2018/11/08/u...sand-oaks.html

I don't listen to or watch the news much, but I was in my car today, listening to the news on the radio, and the station I was listening to, KCBS in San Francisco, said that there had been several off-duty police officers in the club at the time of the shooting, but that they were all unarmed.

That seems like an odd bit of information to throw into the mix. I wonder if it's true and I wonder if it's being widely reported or kept quiet. I didn't see it mentioned in the NYT article. (Did I miss it?)

I'd like to see those odds calculated. I'm curious what the result would be. One in a million? More? Less?

This may not be as improbable as its seems. Both events involved country music, young people of college age. Thosand Oaks is near LA and not that far from Las Vegas.

But this does make one scratch one's head and wonder.

Cops don't get paid much so to supplement their income they often take work as security guards/bouncers and they aren't armed. They work almost as independent contractors in this capacity.

What do you want to bet they were the "extras" of the group of hired crisis actors?

And the NY Times chimes in with this thundering Headline:

    https://www.nytimes.com/2018/11/08/o...gtype=Homepage

The next one will have the Orlando survivors involved. And maybe one or two others from the FL school or Sandy Hook. Or would that be too obvious?

This has gone over into the absurd... How insane is our population to want to carry out massacres like this??? No, not insane enough. But what journalist even dares ask that question? Or the ones that would follow it?

Wow. I'm speechless. And there was that actor who shot the video of the shooting and put it on Instagram. Nathan Stolpman's been busy researching this. The whole thing is really fishy. Anyone missing shoes btw?

Have a look at video below -- very tongue in cheek. May take time to load but def worth a look. Watch especially for the guy at about 1:24 talking about "losing" his son
