Default Philip K Dick's Electric Dreams... Anthology series

A sci-fi anthology series with stand-alone episodes based on the works of Philip K. Dick.
Not quite as good as Black Mirror but has some good episodes with some decent acting and plots. Don't expect the stories follow PKD's short stories but they do catch his edginess. If you have an Amazon Prime account you can watch them for free. The episode 'safe and sound ' was rather good as were some other ones.

The German documentary on him is a start: https://projectavalon.net/forum4/show...DW-Documentary

That thread holds a plethora of other books, docs, info etc.

He's considered one of the greatest sci fi writer of all time.

    Thanks carpenter.
I've never been into sf very much, which will be the reason for my ignorance of Mr Dick.
    I'm more the crime/detective type.

When I lived in The Netherlands I watched "The Baantjer Mysteries" with Detective de Cock.... No kidding!
    https://mhzchoiceblog.com/the-baantj...elled-c-o-c-k/
The series is based on the bestselling books written by a A.C. Baantjer, who worked as a detective in Amsterdam for 27 years at the same police station depicted in The Baantjer Mysteries.
His first de Cock novel came out in 1965, and he published 60 de Cock titles before his death in 2010.

Sorry, I'm not able to see the Dick documentary in the link you presented. It says " This video is unavailable."

Btw, I loved the quote you posted on that The world according to Philip K. Dick | DW Documentary thread.

“There will come a time when it isn't 'They're spying on me through my phone' anymore. Eventually, it will be 'My phone is spying on me'.”

    ― Philip K. Dick

    EDIT
Sorry, wrong quote. I meant to post this one.

“The basic tool for the manipulation of reality is the manipulation of words. If you can control the meaning of words, you can control the people who must use them.”

    ― Philip K. Dick

There's no doubt in my mind that P,K.Dick had the ability to tap into something.

My favorite movie based on his story: Adjustment Bureau with Matt Damon and Emily Blunt

Much is conveyed in this movie, if you pay attention.
Blessed are the cracked, for they are the ones who let in the light!
