Default I think I may have captured a few pictures of a UFO

Hey, guys. I hope everyone is doing well. Title says it all, really, but I'll hash out the details in this post.

About 10 days ago, I was in Las Vegas, NV, with my family. On the airplane headed back home, I noticed something odd that suddenly appeared in the sky. At first, I thought it was a weird cloud due to its smoothness and color, but scratched that off as it was an otherwise mostly clear, sunny day. It was quite large, easily twice the length of a 747, elongated, and slightly sloped. My second guess, then, was blimp. But here's the thing: I could not make out any seams of any kind. It also seemed to hang virtually motionless in the air for a while, but that part I'm less sure on. I couldn't get a long, clear look at it as we were moving quite rapidly on the runway, preparing for takeoff. My window was, quite literally, tiny.

I did, however, manage to snap a few pictures.

Now, a quick disclaimer: as is, unfortunately, always the case with these, the photo quality is mediocre at best. I had to use my cellphone's camera, through a dusty window, in a smoggy city, on a rapidly moving, turning airplane.

    But I did get something.

These photos are my own and 100% genuine. They have not been tampered with or edited in any way, no filters, nothing. I will post zoomed-in versions of each picture as well, to more clearly see the shape of whatever it was I briefly saw.

Anyone here has permission to apply filters or contrast to my photos to debunk/solve it, so no need to ask first if anyone needs to borrow them

I still have no idea what to make of what I saw: I really barely got to see it. But it definitely caught my eye, and I've been in cities all my life, and guarantee you it was neither a plane or a helicopter. I see dozens of those all day, every day. I know what they look like and how they behave.

Anyways, I'd love to hear your input on this, and discuss! Feel free to ask any questions of me. I still don't know what to make of it.

I'm going to upload each photo in chronological order, then, as a separate set, each photo enhanced, in the same order. The craft is in the top right corner, then top center (it did move some, then hung motionless, or at least appeared to). They will be in 3 separate posts due to upload restrictions.

Yeah, sorry, my bad, I'm still working on figuring out formatting. First batch should work now. Working on the rest

    PART 2:

This is where it gets interesting. I'm going to crop and zoom in on each photo, so you can clearly see the craft.

I'll start with the first 5 here, then the other 2 in a separate post. Each in the same order as the last.

What's really weird to me is how this thing clearly seems to change shape, drastically. Not just from a matter of perspective (head on vs. side view vs. close vs. far), but it the craft itself.

The next photos are of it in its final stage before I lost sight of it, when it's this rectangular, elongated thing. This is when it starts to get more compelling, to me.

And finally, this last one. This is the one image that really made me sit down and think about this whole thing. The way the light hits it, it looks dead-on like a saucer.

Oh, and the last thing: I saw this craft for maybe 15-20 seconds grand total.

So maybe that helps in terms of how quickly the thing is moving/shifting.

I may have seen the same thing. ...... I saw an oblong craft, that I could only assume was a blimp. When I saw it, it was several miles east of Las Vegas and moving in an easterly direction. I don't remember the time, but I'm guessing it was between 10:00 AM and noon. I couldn't figure out why a blimp would be so far east of Vegas and moving away. Going to another destination?

Blimps, of course, show up at cities where big events are taking place. I'm not into golf, but Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods did have a big golf match about that same time-frame. Maybe it was a blimp and was in town for that??

In the mean-time, I'm going to google about blimps to see how they travel from one destination to another. I always assumed they would be deflated and trucked, since flying at a blimp pace doesn't seem too feasible. ---(I was wrong)

EDIT: Okay, I looked on the internet and found out blimps do fly from destination to destination.

Then you definitely saw it. This was right around 10:30, which is when the airplane was taking off. It could be a blimp, yeah, that was/is still a thing on my mind, and it would explain why it looked more circular initially.

The thing about it that still makes me wonder is that it was totally smooth and metallic. Blimps are balloon-like so you would see the creases, or at least, you'd think it wouldn't reflect the way it seemed to.

I'll see if I can find out if there were blimps in the area that day

    Thanks for the info.

Taken as a given, that it's not photo-shopped, the object has the tell-tale 'field' around it's exterior.

At this stage Indigris it looks as if you've captured a true UFO........... as in unidentified flying object.

    Good work!

The "tell-tale field" is actually a sharpening effect applied by the camera itself (almost all cameras except DSLRs with sharpening turned to 0, apply a sharpening effect that works by tracing edges). Note this "field" also exists around the fence posts and other objects in the full size samples. This generally indicates there is no "photoshop" work, but that the object captured was captured by the camera itself. It doesn't indicate "UFO" but when other objects in the photo have the exact same sharpening effect, it helps lend credence to support a genuine photo.

    Thanks for the share Indigris!

I captured the same type of object on my iPhone in July 2018 in ABQ, New Mexico, USA. I posted video and still shots on Sept. 5, 2018 on the "Found UFO while looking through old video files" thread as post #13.

Sorry, I'm on an iPad and chillin or I would link to that here.

To me, it's the same type of object.

    Satori’s post #13:

I want to begin by thanking Bill Ryan for helping me get the video and photos below posted to this thread. Thank you Bill! Now, for the rest of the story:

Saturday evening (/8/25/2018), around 6:00 p.m. (maybe a bit later), a very strong and fast-moving thunder storm popped up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, coming from the Southeast and moving to the Northeast and then quickly shifting to the Northwest.

As I often do when I see an approaching storm I went to my back yard with my I-Phone and started taking video of the storm, thunder and lightning. My back yard is on the south of my house and has a panoramic view of the Sandia and Monzano mountains, ABQ, and etc... to the south and east.

I took three short videos. One as the storm was approaching, a second one as it was nearer and the third one as I was stepping into the house to get out of the rain. 5 minutes or so elapsed for all three videos.

I did not look at any of the videos that night.

On Sunday, 8/26/2018, I was on the Forum reading posts. I came across this thread about old videos and UFOs. That made me recall that I had not watched the videos I took the night before. So, I looked at the first video and then the second. It was the second video that got my attention.

Below is the video full length at actual speed, followed by a shortened version and slowed down, followed by some screen shots. They each show the object. The object appeared over my house, but seems to be a few blocks to the west of my house. It appeared "out of nowhere" and moved at incredibly fast speed from the northwest to the south east toward Kirtland AFB. Kirtland is about 9-10 miles from my house as the crow flies. I can see much of the base from my back yard, including the Sandia and Monzano Mountains. I heard and saw nothing while taking the video, except some thunder and a barking dog. I did not see the object and it did not make any noise that I could discern at the time.

Many people have looked at the video. We all agree it is not a bug, a bird or a leaf.... After looking at the video many times now, some people think they hear a whoosh sound as it goes by. Some see what appears to be some sort of quick electric interference or wave in the video as it goes by.

The object appears at the 2-second mark on the video and disappears just before the 3-second mark. I am told it appears and is gone in .03 seconds.

The video goes on for a few minutes. At about the 1:09 minute mark you will see a flower blow off a tree and come right at me. The flower is blowing north. The object was traveling south/south east towards Kirtland AFB at a very, very high rate of speed. I mention the flower to provide a benchmark to show that whatever it was it was going against very strong wind and a fast approaching thunder storm with a a fair amount of lightning. In the video there is a tremendous clap of thunder near the end and a fair amount of lightning activity.

Any thoughts on what this is are appreciated. I suspect it is man-made, a drone of some sort, booking it out of the area and heading back to its berth at Kirtland AFB. It would be cool enough if that was true, but even more cool if it was not of this world.

Sorry, I'm on an iPad and chillin or I would link to that here.
    Satori’s post #13:

I want to begin... ... I am told it appears and is gone in .03 seconds.
Any thoughts on what this is are appreciated. I suspect it is man-made, a drone of some sort, booking it out of the area and heading back to its berth at Kirtland AFB. It would be cool enough if that was true, but even more cool if it was not of this world.

    Interesting clip.
    1. Moving VERY quickly
    2. Silent
    3. Interesting synchronicity involved (per your description, Satori)

I've been doing a lot of work lately right next to an AFB where there are regularly drones taking off, landing, and flying by. The object in your video is MUCH faster than any drone I've ever seen.

There are also many fighter jets taking off, landing, and flying by where I've been working; they are VERY loud and even when seen at top speed, they appear to be moving slower than the object in your video.

UFO? Black project craft? Who knows? But a cool capture. Thanks for posting! And thanks to Indigris, also an interesting sighting.

    Cheers,

Hi Indigris, I have a simple question

Did anyone else see the object ?
It would increase the validation if so, you know.

That was the first qustion I had from Swedish UFO reserch organisation, when I reported my case. Luckely I had my bro and 2 other friends.

Uluckely my bro turned on me and one of our friends as well, I was too much for them so they simply couldnt remember or lied. One of the friends could remember but said it was to painful to go into.
That's one small photo for man one giant leap for mankind

It took me 21 years to report my UFO sighting, I denied it because it was too overwhelming at time.

Not that I know of, but I'm sure someone did. Thing is, I was in an airplane, at the window seat, and the other 2 people with me were total strangers; a little girl with her grandfather. So they were both preoccupied with their own thing. My family members were all spread out throughout the plane, and on opposite ends. Furthermore, most people in the airplane had the window blinds down, for some reason. Never understood that one. I always get claustrophobic in airplanes.

Anyways, that's that. I'm sure many people saw it. And most probably wrote it off, as a (very) brief search didn't pull up any UFO reports.

But Orph also saw it, or at least something similar, so who knows?

Thank you for your post as well as for the closeups!

This object looks very much like what I have captured on video several times. They are not blimps or drones. They seem to be some kind of dark orb. They change texture and shape as they move, and often exhibit a notable torsion field close-up.

This "dark orb" below was moving towards the east on an overcast afternoon. It is neither a balloon nor drone, and was relatively closeup. There is a notable change of shape as well as texture. It would be roundish or diamond shaped when hovering, but when it accelerated in one direction, it looked more "football" shaped. Sometimes oblongish rectangles. I'm fairly certain you caught one of these "dark orbs".

This one hovered more slowly, but exhibits more of the rectangular geometric shape of the object you shared.

More and more people are filming them...after observing them long enough to notice that they move so oddly. It is very likely this type of object was what was actually seen at Gatwick from the only video I found, but I'd have to see alot more Gatwick Clips than one to determine that. If you look, you can see several examples of these kinds of orbs. Ive included a few others, including videos and photo closeups of several of my captures of these "dark orbs" here.

So grateful when someone shares! Gives some of us cross referential data to refer to when trying to figure out what we've experienced. Thanks!

My experience around "seeing them"... You may have been pre-inclined to notice. You may look at the sky often. At times you may also just get a "nudge" to go outside and look up. There may be more "contact" going on here...so keep the mind open. I don't know.

Also, I've noticed you can be in the middle of the sidewalk with you phone pointed to the sky and filming and people will NOT notice. During my five minute encounter with one of these orbs, someone actually looked from his phone at me, and then went back to what he was doing. There were at least two others within eyeshot...no one else seemed to notice. After was the only time I called NUFORC to make a report, and when the guy asked me if anyone else saw it, I said, "I don't know! I thought it was weird that other people...." He cut me off, seemingly in a bad mood that night, and acted like I was calling NUFORC to troll them. Far from the truth...I was looking for some answers. That was Aug 2017. Since then I've done tons of research as well as had more sightings, but it really helps when someone else shares their experiences from the grass roots. Thats where we can all win. So don't worry if others around you don't see...it may not be their time yet. Thanks for sharing.
