Some 70 + years this man did service to the United States of America. I have read all the posts, I also had the opportunity to see a great deal of Pres Bush's bio on tv this morning. Much of it had to do with his family. His granddaughter asked her grandfather what was your greatest accomplishment in life and George Bush answered " That my kids still keep coming back home ". From all the posts and the rabbit holes this man could have gone into and some may be valid. I would submit to you politics is a dirty world, being president is like a chess game with other countries, and I don't believe any president walks around with a halo on his head as it would be very naïve to think they haven't had to make some very tough life or death decisions that many people would never make.

It is interesting that you mention Dr. Newton's work, because from my view point GHWB might not be a damaged soul. Maybe it is a soul that wanted to experience that type of life. Sometimes were good guys and sometimes were bad guys.

I don't have enough information to determine what a damaged soul is. Michael's patients say the most prized bodies are damaged ones (physically or mentally handicapped), that surprised me. I don't know that some of the horrors that GHWB has done would be looked at differently for a soul. Great things can be learned from horrible acts. I look at life much differently now after reading his books.

What I use to look at as good or evil, now I look at it as a learning experience.

Also, damage souls aren't disintegrated. They go back to source to be reshaped so to speak. I can't remember the exact words they use, but I took it as they are fixed. His patients were uncomfortable to go into detail.

MSM is pushing the hand-written letter GHWB ostensibly left in the Oval Office for Bill Clinton during the transition from Bush to Clinton in January 1993. We are all supposed to feel warm and fuzzy about it. GHWB was after all such a humanitarian. I'm about to lose my lunch.

I do believe in reincarnation and like most beliefs it's impossible to know for definite.

My outlook is influenced by Jurgen Ziewe's books and this exit is jumping into that fire and becoming one with everything (and I expect losing the soul in the process). This would seem to be what the soul is ultimately striving for - a kind of disintegration process. Anyway, sorry for the detour but couldn't help thinking when I read your comment that GWB is probably not ready for this ending and still has a way to go . I guess we'll never know beyond the individual experience until we truly blend with the one (assuming if that is a truth).

Thanks for the reminder Flash. For what it's worth, I felt a little weepy when McCain died. That is because of the news telling us how brave and beloved he was.
Then I read a post of Herve (maybe it was Paul) and learned what a jerk off he really was. However, like Dennis said, empathy for the family.

Was the soul essence of HW vaporized when the body gave out? From the sounds of it here he may have never had a soul. Was he that horrible? I'm asking in the most sincere way.
