Default Re: 10 Unsettling Solutions to the Fermi Paradox

I found reason no 1, the only one to resonate. I often think, does an ant hill colony ponder or look out towards other ant hills to see if they are the only ones in existence ? How would they? Even coming across an ant hill only 50 feet away would tell them nothing of others miles further, much less the entire globe where we as humans know there are millions of them everywhere. And do they even detect us as the giant unknowns we are as we walk past them ? The concept of space as presently thought of is beyond incomprehensible to me. How could we just look out into it and conclude anything? Millions of life forms could be just like us, no less or more advanced, quietly living in their worlds, unannounced, going about their business, equally totally unaware of us, and have concluded there is no life anywhere else.

    • The Fermi Paradox Has An Incredibly Simple Solution:

The Fermi Paradox has been a topic of keen debate amongst scientists, astronomers and the rest of us for more than seven decades. We can't resist the urge to speculate about aliens! But what is the paradox even really about? What explanations have been offered? Today, we explore this famous question, and offer a mind-shifting explanation.
