    An update here.

    1) Poll numbers right now: (I've upped some of of the numbers by 3 after private chats while the members haven't yet added their names)
    • I'll almost certainly find a way to come... I'd move mountains to be there. — 9
    • I'd love to come. I think I can, but I'm just not sure yet. — 25
    • I really doubt if I can make it, but it may be possible. — 9
    • I'd REALLY love to be there, but I already know it's just not possible at all. — 64
    2) I had an idea for a particularly interesting live presentation, but I'd need a willing volunteer. I could do a live regression, before the watching group.

Of course, this isn't the usual protocol, for a bunch of excellent reasons. Sometimes sensitive material can surface, and the person being regressed needs to feel utterly 100% safe and uninhibited. But of course, some folks might not care one bit, and having others right there might not faze them at all.

It's just an idea. No charge, of course, and it might be a really interesting thing for us to do together. I'm not aware of any other conference of any kind in which this has been done.

    3) I want to this:

Here's an important little announcement. If anyone can definitely make the dates, wants to be there, and can afford the accommodation etc, but who can NOT afford an internal North American flight... please PM me. We may be able to work something out.

It appears from the UFO MEGACON that the packages do not include a room at the Aquarius. Is that correct?

If that is correct does anyone know what the rooms cost?

I do have a lot of things to share, as you may imagine... including (e.g.) some bits and pieces of interesting material I've not wanted to post over the net. And just as there as many Avalon discussion threads with many members contributing, there's nothing to stop that all happening similarly in live conversation. We could easily open up 'threads' as live topics, as proposed and opened by anyone there. I'd certainly not want to hog things — this is definitely not all about me! — but I'm pretty sure that if I'm well-supported by coffee and cookies, I could talk for a very long time all on my own, really quite easily. Filling three days with interesting stuff would never be a problem.
If there's time, I'm open to sharing with the group more about what I've been uncovering in regards to reincarnation, the soul group I come from and where I think it's going based on what I've learned. Actually, I made quite the discovery back in October 2018, that will have one saying 'holy crap'; something I haven't shared online yet.

The phrase 'seeing is believing' will take on a whole new meaning, after one has time to peruse photos out of my show and tell book. If anyone has been following what I've divulged in past posts regarding reincarnation identities, this little discovery will validate even more that I'm connecting the dots properly...And to think all this time the damn clues of validation were hanging on my wall for the past 12+ years, and in more than one place! lmao.

It doesn't take much to bribe me as I follow in sync along the behavior patterns of a life path #3/ we are communicators. However, while coffee suits Bill, a Diet Coke can get me going and then you will soon understand how easily I've often found myself embedded in one rabbit hole after another in the wee hours of the night seeking truths of the unknown and undiscovered.

EDIT TO ADD: ya, ya, I know, I know, diet coke is verrry baaad for u

The room, according to Melinda should cost exactly $470.13 for the 8 nights of the original event.. Plus the three days after for Bills get together need to be added to that. You CAN remove nights from that and make it less however!!!! The code is C-MUF19, and the number to call to get the discount is.. 1-800- 662-5825. This will save you $180 on the room... And it's true, I tried to call the hotel direct just by getting their number online and they tried to charge me $770! Some of us are making arrangements to share rooms, so you may want to consider that, or find out who is, and see if we can all just group up. We're all going to meet eachother anyway, so if we can, why not?

    This post is for BILL..

Hi Bill, glad this is happening! I have already made my reservations for Contact in the Desert, and bought my tickets. But I am a little stuck when it comes to doing the same for this event because I don't know how much the extra 3 days is going to cost me.. If it is more than what I expected, I can cut my plans for the week long event, down to the 4 day deal, and that's fine, but I kind of need to get a ballpark as to what the three days will cost, so I can buy the tickets for the event. And they're running out of their special priced rooms FAST... (I don't want to pay for the whole week, and 8 nights only to find out that doesn't leave me enough to pay for your event.. ) If I had an idea of the costs, then I could decide whether to go to that full event, or buy the 4 day pass... And I would have liked to have already secured those things..

Have you been able to contact the hotel and see about another venue room? Or figured out what our expenses would be to keep you there those days? Even a ball park estimate would be helpful.. I am sure the rooms will be available longer than the ones for UFOMEGACON because no one knows we're doing this, But I want to make sure I set aside enough to go.. Because I don't want to miss it! Heck, maybe we could even go somewhere and relax outside during our get together. I am not trying to be pushy, but they're "Deal prices" end on the 30th, and they're running out of rooms FAST at the discounted rates. So I really need to secure my place ASAP..

I'm tying to go. I'm going to a Holotropic Breath Work conference (Grof, re-birthing, out of body technique) in San Francisco in two weeks. I may become a practitioner and would love to share the techniques I learned. If I cant make it, I will defiantly write a post about it.

Good morning Bill. My wife and I live in the Temecula, California area (about 4.5 hours away), and were planning to attend the 3 day after event. I would certainly like to volunteer to be regressed with the understanding that sensitive material may arise. I (we) happen to fall into the group of not being fazed by this potential. If you need more information from me, please let me know and I could PM you back. Thanks

I am happy to say that I found a ride to the UFO Conference and Avalon get-together. I have never been to a UFO conference so I am really looking forward to that and to have the opportunity to meet some Avalon members face to face. I've written some outer space/ET songs, which I am now recording, so I'll be singing those songs with my 12-string guitar for the Avalon get-together after the conference.

Making good progress here, bit by bit.

Rooms for our mini-event will be $40.99 each + 12.5% sales tax (= $46.11/night). That's the same deal as for the UFO MEGA CON event. They're waiving the resort fee as well, so this is an excellent rate. I've asked them for a reference code to quote so folks can make their own bookings. I'll post that as soon as I have it, which may well be today. They responded super-quickly to my initial inquiry, and I was impressed.

I do NOT yet know the rates for the meeting room, or any extra facilities we might need. That'll be factored in to anyone's total cost. My intention here is simply to cover all expenses (including my own room, but that's not much!), with maybe a little extra for my time — but again, really not much.

To hold that rate, they state rooms will need to be booked within 14 days of today. I know that's a promotional thing, and that may actually be flexible, but I'm just relaying what they said. The contact page there is https://aquariuscasinoresort.com/contact.

I told them the group size might be about 30, explaining that was an estimate at this stage. But I do think it might be fairly accurate. I'll post more info here as soon as I receive it.

For those who want to share an Airbnb:

One of the people who will be driving me to the UFO/Avalon events wants to rent an Airbnb. She does not want to stay at the Aquarius or other hotel because she is sensitive to Wi-Fi (Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity or EHS). So she wants to rent an Airbnb and have the Wi-Fi shut off at night when sleeping to minimize the exposure.

Therefore, if anyone would like to share an AirB&B with her, please PM me and I'll give you her name and phone number. She is not an Avalon member because she is too busy as an activist to spend time on forums. (I'm not exaggerating.) However, if she had the time she would make a great Avalon member as she is a very informed and aware person and basically on the same page as most of the people on the forum.

We will be arriving in Laughlin on Tuesday evening (the 26th) and staying through to the end of the Avalon conference.

Edit: Oops! I just got some unexpected news today that I may not be able to attend after all.

Default Re: An Avalon Conference, 31 March - 2 April 2019

    Thank you so much Bill!

My experience when trying to book my room for this event.. It was a fiasco... So I wanted to warn you guys it may happen to you... (I was told this was the exception rather than the norm, and I am the ONLY one who had this issue. And that I MUST HAVE done something to make this happen.. I ASSURE YOU , I am a pro at booking hotels. This was NOT something I DID... I told the event planners because I felt if other people were also facing this issue, it MAY turn them away.... ) You're my friends so I want to warn you..

I called THREE TIMES, I told them I was checking in on the 23rd, and out on the 31st. and then I gave them our event discount code ... but I kept getting trainees who couldn't type the code in properly, or understand some strange "Notes" on their screens, that they were reading as I waited...(apparently they all understood the notes differently because I was quoted three different prices after three different calls!!!) and after three calls, where I was quoted FULL RETAIL, OR MORE in one case as she doubled the resort fee... I gave up, and decided to look elsewhere for the room. (The quotes WITH the code were $668, $686, and $770.. BEFORE FEES... )

The codes are only good if input properly...

I KNEW the room was supposed to be $470.13.. and with fees totaled $560 for the TOTAL entire room cost, for those first 8 days... And that they blocked off 100 rooms for this price.. I would ask them to check that again, and gave them the price they were SUPPOSED to be... They would say "Nope, this is the best I can do." After this happening on three different occasions, I began to worry they would run out of rooms, so I also began to look elsewhere.. SO IF PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO BOOK THOSE FIRST 8 DAYS, it shouldn't be ANY HIGHER than $560!!!! $470.13 plus the fees which totals $560 billed.. (You can add those last three days at the end, but this is what the first 8 should cost.... ) Make sure they know you are reserving one of those blocked off rooms.. Don't tell them anything else, or they will throw you in a regular room. Those 100 rooms are for US.. But they ask questions like "Will you be speaking",, if you say "NO", they're reading the notes, as those rooms are only being held for the speakers!!! I said NO and the price JUMPED UP... THEY DON'T GIVE YOU THE DISCOUNT if they think you are not one of the speakers, and it doesn't matter if you give them the code, they feel it doesn't apply to you or your room. (That's the only question they kept asking me that I could think of that would trip them up).. ... they book you a REGULAR ROOM. It is a HUGE MESS.. Just be aware this happens... It happened to me THREE TIMES... I told them THOSE were the rooms I was supposed to be booking, They said they couldn't alter what they were reading on their computer and how they "read it" Implies I am not allowed one of those rooms! (SERIOUSLY??)

I was told that I was apparently the only person having such issues... When I contacted the event planners to warn them that people may be deciding not to go if they're being told THESE are the discounted prices! SO I wanted to let people know... If you guys are charged more then $560, THAT'S WRONG.. Don't book it! Try again to get an agent that understands the notes...

I however, was worried they would run out of the "Special priced rooms", while waiting for them to straighten out their mistakes.. After three tries, I looked elsewhere. I still had three additional days to book after all..I never even MENTIONED the three extra days to the hotel... Not only did I not want to confuse them... I wasn't POSITIVE it was a GO... So THAT wasn't an issue either..

However.. I SCORED BIG TIME when going out on my own for reservations...

I decided to try to check prices for the 23rd thru the 3rd.. It was pricey.. But then I decided to try the 26th thru the third, and BINGO.. I found a room for under $500, out the door, for THOSE 8 nights, AND it was a LUXURY ROOM... The room was only $361 and the fees totaled $135. (and some coins).. But I got 8 nights for LESS than the event code offered, and a luxury room. So I am now going to the four days of the event at the end, AND all three days with Avalon. FOR LESS than the amount of the original event. My total was $496... for a luxury room... all fees included.. $63 less than the first 8 days... I figured that would be too long anyway so this was PERFECT! And a great score.

I am sure that if you cut back your stay to the 26th at the hotel directly, and still use the code properly, and they reduce it, you would probably pay less than what I paid, but with my luck thus far, I don't even want to BOTHER to call them. I am paying less for 8 nights and getting the luxury room. I didn't want to press my luck hahaha.. I AM HAPPY..

Just thought I would share what I did. just in case others are considering twisting and bending their reservations.. You WON'T get this deal unless you wait the website out... But if you DO cut your event for the first few days and use Bills new code, you may be able to get the room direct at this price. or even for less... I just wanted to let you know my bad experience with trying to book with those CODES.. And how it turned out..

    See you guys there!!!

    Folks, a further running update.

We've been provisionally allocated The Pisces Room, at a cost of $150/day for the 3 days. Between us all, that's a small extra expense. (e.g. 30 people = $15 room contribution each.)

The room dimensions are 27' x 35' (1066 sq.ft), and that should do us just fine. It's cozy (i.e. not a huge ballroom, so we wouldn't rattle around in there), but there's space to move and be flexible and we'd not be cramped at all.

Here's the layout and some numbers. They're sending me a contract, and I'm going to commit.

    Bill,

Since you are booking post conference, they should comp the meeting room. They are actualizing an extra 5K in room
Nights and the conference room Would probably go unbooked anyway. Try tying the room revenue with a comp on the meeting room without service ( snacks/
Beverages). Worth a try. Their ADR ( average daily rate) is likely to tank post conference anyhow.

Another important piece of info: I've realized there's a misunderstanding with some about the nearest practicable airport. Entirely my fault. Apologies!

The nearest main airport is Las Vegas. (Airport code LAS.) Then you get a shuttle bus to Laughlin.

There are regular scheduled flights to Vegas from everywhere — but not to Laughlin itself, which is far smaller. (The only service into Laughlin is by American Airlines, from Phoenix AZ.)

Hmmmm, this does sound really interesting, 30 Avalonians all meeting up, how many past life connections are we going to discover?

My issue is that I'd have to fly in from Singapore into LAX then figure out how to get to Laughlin. The flight connections LAX-LAS are not great, so maybe drive directly to Laughlin - but that would be expensive, unless there are others planning on doing the same thing? If so, please PM me.

I'll post that as soon as I have it...
(Just a reminder that the reference code hasn't been posted yet.)

Thanks, yes. I do actually now have the code as of a few hours ago, but it was stated in a contract that I've not yet signed. I have a small query about that, so I'd probably not sign it until Tuesday morning. THEN I can post it, for sure.
