    Or periscope perhaps?

Yes, it has to be. I'm NOT the one to organize this, but if anyone attending (TargeT?) wants to set this up, then of course we can do that.

Forgive me for being a little enigmatic, but the interest and attraction here might be the attendance of another member, not yet named on the thread. I know for 100% sure they'd be a big draw both at the meet-up and also on a livestream, as we'd stage something to be broadcast around that. There are one or two sensitivities, so I'm not saying any more about that just yet... simply because we don't know at the moment if that person can make it.

I don't have the best equipment, but I can set something up; audio might be an issue, depends on the room set up etc...

From Las Vegas airport to Laughlin transportation is expensive if the flights do not match the very restricted hours the transport companies give: neither of the two advertised on the conference site do anything after 5PM. They both have a 12h00 transport and a 5Pm transport, nothing else. So if I take the filght after my day work and arrive at 9h45 PM I am doomed.
Flash—It looks like Mills Tours has a shuttle that leaves Las Vegas for Laughlin at 11:30 p.m. (Click on attached image) I don’t know about check-in times. You might have to make special arrangements with the hotel if you’re arriving late.

Here are the links to a couple of menus at the Aquarius:
    https://www.aquariuscasinoresort.com...ffee-Wine-Menu
    https://www.aquariuscasinoresort.com...-Aquarius/Menu

There aren’t tons of super-healthy options, but you won’t starve. For instance, at the Cafe Aquarius, you can get a fresh fruit platter with yogurt for $8 U.S.
    No they do not.

I phoned, asked, and they do not. They offered me the private booking as they say for 175$ US one way.

    The conference website is misleading...
Flash, I will be driving from Los Angeles and could conceivably do a slightly longer way around, pick you up at the airport, and then on we'd drive to Laughlin..

What time(s) were you looking at for your arrival in Las Vegas?

A quick input here. This is a screenshot of the shuttle info as shown on the main conference Hotel and Transportation page.

I welcome any other info regarding whether the info is incorrect or not, especially about the Mills Tours shuttle schedule... that's pretty important.

Meanwhile, here's the screenshot from http://millstours.net/services.html:

    ***

As a pure guess, it looks like the actual 1.30 pm shuttle has been mistaken by the conference organizers to be 11.30 pm, with a typo (an extra '1') innocently inserted in their own info.
Yes Bill, from what they told me, departures from Las Vega, the 11h30 pm is not given. They also told me that there is none at 8h30am, it started around 12pm. I bet the returning is flawed as well. If anyone else can get real information, it would be great. Your theory about the typo makes sense.

A brief personal note. I'm in an internet cafe just for a quick moment -- 20 miles away from home, where I'm offline and might be for quite a few days. There was a lightning strike yesterday VERY close to the house, a huge flash and simultaneous explosion like a bomb blast. Mara the reacted like she'd been shot (and so did I ). My power crashed out, my circuit breakers and surge protectors did their job, but my relay internet pole is fried to a crisp.

In the same storm, about 300,000 people lost their power and water (4.25 inches of rain in 80 minutes, which is a LOT), so the technicians may not get to me out in the boondocks for a while.

The next time I'll be likely to check in is Saturday... my apologies once more to all those whose messages I've NOT yet been able to reply to. Meanwhile, the list in my post #94 of the 24 folks very likely to be there, not including a bunch more 'possibles', does seem reliable.

No, you can't. It wasn't Kerry, but I have just now invited her... she said she might conceivably be with us for our first day (Sunday), as she'll actually be at the main event: possibly interviewing John Lear live on stage, which should be pretty interesting if that does actually happen.

She was delighted to be invited to our thing, but her logistics are complicated, of course. I'll persuade her to join us if at all possible... it'd be a bunch of fun.

Has anyone tried making a reservation using the group code or group name ?

Today I attempted to make my reservation using the group code and group name and was told that it wasn't in their system yet and to call back in a couple of days .

I did get my donation off to Bill earlier today though

Car rentals are really cheap in Vegas, so I'm planning on renting a car and driving to the Aquarius . After I receive flight information I'll post my availability to drive a few people that could use a ride .

Looking forward to seeing everyone there

Just checked car rental and true, it is cheap. And I can drive easily.

But, if I get in with anyone, I will share the cost with pleasure, just let me know when you are getting in and from which airport. Same for Target, I promise you I won't argue about anything in the car, I am a quite easy going person when face to face lol...

Ok, just spoke with the conference organizer.

She was not aware of the discrepancy between her website information and the transport companies' website/phone information. She had posted the schedules that were on their website in early September.

So she will verify with them tonight or tomorrow and will change her website accordingly.

She also told me that the conference organizers may set up some shuttles themselves for specific days, from Las Vegas airport to Laughlin. If they decide to do that, she will let us know on their website, as soon as they decide.

So, we have to check their website more regularly.

She was aware however of the difference in price for the hotel room, week days versus Fridays and Saturdays. This was part of their agreement.

Oh you're no fun! Is it Kerry? Is it Joe From The Carolina's?? Is it Kevin Moore??? All would be realy interesting people to have come.... Can we guess?
No, you can't. It wasn't Kerry, but I have just now invited her... she said she might conceivably be with us for our first day (Sunday), as she'll actually be at the main event: possibly interviewing John Lear live on stage, which should be pretty interesting if that does actually happen.

She was delighted to be invited to our thing, but her logistics are complicated, of course. I'll persuade her to join us if at all possible... it'd be a bunch of fun.
Fair enough.. Had to try! I think it would be great for the scene overall if Kerry was there, and people realized that although people go their own ways, that it doesn't mean we cannot be amicable towards one another.. How wonderful...

I had sent a few message to John, and Tom Dongo, and told them I was going to be out that way, and would it be a good time to stop by.. (They're both so very kind behind the scenes, John invited me to come out and meet him and Marliee last year, as there were a few things we wanted to talk about. And Tom said that as soon as he was done with what he is working on now, I am good to come out and pull him aside for a few days as well.. ) This new turn of possible events... would explain why John didn't give me an answer as of yet.. AND it will save me a trip! They're both very kind behind the scenes with helping new people with their research..

I HOPE that John does make it out. I was quite surprised that he had invited me to his home, But I think he does this now because of his health more than anything, so if Kerry can get him there, that would be great!

I tried today to make the room reservation on line and was given the 59.00 rate. I called and was told there was no code C-PAG19 showing in the computer.
