    Default To Hell with Cell

This is a personal experience I had and I am sure many have gone through a similar experience but as the saying goes, until it happens to you its just a story. So I had been feeling sleepy and tired often and did not think much about it until my cell plan expired and they cut off the cell service since I am on a prepay plan. That meant for the whole day I had no service and as it turned out, my tiredness and sleepyness vanished for that whole day as well. So I figured there had to be a corelation with the cell phone, it could not be otherwise. After I renewed my plan, I deliberately turned off the phone for another day and sure enough I was feeling great again, (bright eyed and bushy tailed) like never before. So what is the moral of the story, someone may ask. I hardly turn on my cell anymore. To the reader, you may need to start reducing your cell phone usage and experimenting with turning it off completely on some days and maybe just go fishing, go to the beach, hiking etc..you know..nature related activities, as far away as possible from towers and other cell phones if possible. If you turned off your cell and someone close to you has theirs on, then I don't think you will reap the benefits. End of story.

bones, I do the same thing. I have a cell phone only for emergency use and occasionally if I am in a circumstance away from home that requires communication. I don't do texting just for fun. I do not want to get addicted to the thing and treat it with the caution that I would if I was taking a potentially addictive drug.

I have had people actually angry with me that I don't have that phone on and with me at all times. I find it really interesting when family members can't even sit down to Thanksgiving dinner without that phone sitting next to them on the table.

I could swear my cell phone knows what I am thinking sometimes, but I'm probably just being paranoid about that one. It's not f-ing alive, but sometimes it sure feels like it is.

cell phone use cannot be avoided; the waves are everywhere; even if one is not currently using their cell phone/smart phone/ipod the waves are crossing through our rooms and bodies- we can't escape this-

    and we're not being targeted?

Keep in mind we are talking about a few different things..exposure to the waves from towers and such, addiction to the device and being targeted to modify your state of being deliberately, all are no good but the targeted one is on a whole new level. If you notice strange moods or unexplainable illness, maybe, just maybe you are being targeted. In that case its time to experiment by shutting the cell off completely. Also the human body is very resilient, so if you are very healthy you night not notice too much wrong with you. However over time you will begin to feel the cumulative effect so stay vigilante. No need to wait till things become really bad.

I refuse to have one at all, and have only a landline, with my computer hooked up to my landline.
If I ever had to get one, I would probably wrap it in tin foil or mylar or something--I imagine there are cases of some sort which would block the microwaves.
I don't even use my microwave oven.
When cell phone towers started going up years ago, I felt like I was getting Alzheimer's.
I relocated to a very rural area where there weren't any up yet, and was fine again.
I don't believe this technology is a step forward in our evolution, I think it's a step backward.
And it's shocking to see what lengths the industry will go to hide the studies that have been done proving the hazards both to our health and our privacy.
    Each breath a gift...

Yes to all of the above.

There are two important factors at play here, depending on each user's individual sensitivities:
    1. Physical effects of WiFi.
    2. Addiction.
It's 100% starkly crystal clear to me that #2 is a major major MAJOR problem.

For anyone who might doubt this, or be brave enough to test it out, turn your cellphone off for a week and give it to a close friend. Instruct them NOT to give it back to you for 7 days, however much you beg them.

    Then, you'll know for sure.

This is actually very pertinent. I just got back from buying a prepaid flip phone for the trip to Laughlin. I currently do not have a cell phone at all, because the service here in the country is awful. Maybe this at&t plan will work better here, for emergencies. We'll see.

So, I have a landline and wi-fi. Either the wireless phone or the router gets blown on a regular basis. The AT&T man who came out to fix the land line a couple of weeks ago told me that they are due for contract negotiations in August. He said AT&T's long term plan is to get rid of land lines entirely, so we will then have no choice BUT to use cell phones.

The reason they want to get rid of all land lines is obvious; money. They have to pay taxes on the lines themselves and the salaries of human beings who come out to repair them. The poor darlings are not making quite enough money, so we are at their mercy. He told me this is what it is coming to and since they call the shots, we haven't a prayer's chance in hell.

Off topic: We have a lot of lightning strikes out here and the continual replacement of routers and wireless phones is costing me a small fortune. We have a lot clay in the soil and so the equipment is not grounded when it hits, or so the guy told me.
