Try the Almanac’s handy Rise/Set tool which calculates when the planets set for your location.

    https://www.almanac.com/astronomy/moon-rise-and-set

Conjunction of the Full Moon and Jupiter on June 16

On the night of June 15, Giant Planet will dangle just below the waxing gibbous Moon.

Then on Sunday, June 16—Father’s Day—bright Jupiter and the Moon meet. What a pair.

Look for the Giant Planet floating just above the Full Strawberry Moon. The Moon and Jupiter will shine bright all night long!

(The Moon will look full on June 16 and June 17 in North America; technically, it crests in the very early hours of the 17th.)

Look for the Moon and king planet Jupiter to light up the nighttime from dusk until dawn!

Conjunction of Mercury and Mars on June 18

Then, on the next night, turn your attention back to the western evening sky.

Watch for a fabulous conjunction between orange Mercury and Mars on June 18.

The two will be extremely close together in the evening sky on the 18th. But also they’ll look tight and nice between the 17 and 19.

Full Moons are always a point of release, so something often needs to be let go of when we reach this time in the month. We may be feeling this even more so in June, as this is the last Full Moon before Eclipse Season begins.

The July Eclipse Season has a potency to it, which means that this June Full Moon is a chance for us to prepare ourselves for what’s to come. Pay attention to any signs, clues, or triggers that are presented at this time, as they may come back around to be resolved and cleared once and for all in July.

The summer skies will light up on July 16, 2019 in Capricorn. This is going to be the busiest Full Moon of the year as we’re going to be experiencing a lunar eclipse along with other planetary surprises.......

The full moon in July represents what many natives call “Thunder Moon”, since July is a time of thunderstorms, rains and downpours appear. Work with this powerful full Moon energy. Visualize the 'Quickening' like in the movie 'The Highlander' as you use this Thunder Moon to charge and revitalize your energy.

I love the Native American names for the moon. I used to keep a list of them because they were so poetic.

I remember reading that December was "The Moon of the Popping Trees" due to the sound of branches snapping from ice and snow.

Mercury retrograde, from much observation and experience is when all hell tends to break loose.

A Rare 'Black Supermoon' Is Rising On July 31st.
This “Black Supermoon” is exclusive to the Americas since the New Moon actually occurs on August 1 in most of the rest of the world.

The Black Moon refers to the second New Moon within a month. The New Moon on July 31st is also called a Black Supermoon
because it will be near its closest point to Earth.

Full Moon on August 15, 2019

The Full Moon in Aquarius marks the beginning of a new cycle.

This phase of the Moon occurs at 22 degrees and 24 minutes of Aquarius, affecting people born with personal planets and points at approximately 18 to 26 degrees of the Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius) most significantly.

Well with all the energy that's floating around in this world right now , from negative, to evil, to beautiful to dynamic we might as well throw the full moon in there and see what happens. Its a fascinating time to be here to see all these paradigm shifts happening all at once and for many of us here to see it thru .

The Harvest Mini-Moon - The Most Beautiful Full Moon of the Year

    Published 7th September 2019

The next full Moon will be early Saturday morning, Sept. 14, 2019. The Moon will appear full for about three days centered around this time, from Thursday night through Sunday morning.

This full moon is also being called a micro-moon or mini-moon because it’s the farthest (and therefore the smallest) full moon of the year. This full moon comes one fortnight (approximately two weeks) after the new moon supermoon on August 30, 2019, and one fortnight before the new moon supermoon of September 28, 2019.

As the full Moon closest to the autumnal equinox (the end of summer and start of fall), this is the Harvest Moon.

During the harvest season farmers sometimes need to work late into the night by the light of the Moon. Usually the full Moon rises an average of 50 minutes later each night, but for the few nights around the Harvest Moon, the Moon seems to rise at nearly the same time: just 25 to 30 minutes later across the northern U.S., and only 10 to 20 minutes later for much of Canada and Europe.

September 2019 FULL MOON is on FRIDAY 13-2019 night to Saturday 14-2019

I dont know who`s silly idea it was to write the date into calenders, when the Moon is the fullest clock time wise and not the date when there is the full moon night?

I dont like this style and finde it vey irritating. Now we have calenders old style and calenders new style?

And if you are used to how it was all this years, you will miss the full moon because you think it is on the night Sept. 14-2019......

There are just to many people who think they have to change something which was fine already all those years. Main thing the change something...???? uuhh

Again...dont get mixed up...Full Moon night is on Sept. 13-2019.......the time the Moon reaches the fullest point is in the morning the next day..up to where exactly you are located....

I hope they will not change all the calenders now, because then you have to always look up at what time exactly the moon is the fullest to get the right date for which night is a full moon night..... so if the moon would be at the fullest before midnight, it is this day then...otherwise the next day.....

For me it is kind of important to look into a calender and see which is the full moon night......and it is still night even if it is after midnight............

Exclamation Re: Reminder : Full moon coming up.......

    Full Cold Moon December 2019

December 11/12 - Full Moon. The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be will be fully illuminated. This full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Full Cold Moon because this is the time of year when the cold winter air settles in and the nights become long and dark. This moon has also been known as the Full Long Nights Moon and the Moon Before Yule.

December 13, 14 - Geminids Meteor Shower. The Geminids is the king of the meteor showers. It is considered by many to be the best shower in the heavens, producing up to 120 multicolored meteors per hour at its peak. It is produced by debris left behind by an asteroid known as 3200 Phaethon, which was discovered in 1982. The shower runs annually from December 7-17. It peaks this year on the night of the 13th and morning of the 14th. Unfortunately the nearly full moon will block out many of the meteors this year, but the Geminids are so bright and numerous that it could still be a good show. Best viewing will be from a dark location after midnight. Meteors will radiate from the constellation Gemini, but can appear anywhere in the sky.

December 22 - December Solstice. The December solstice occurs at 04:19 UTC. The South Pole of the earth will be tilted toward the Sun, which will have reached its southernmost position in the sky and will be directly over the Tropic of Capricorn at 23.44 degrees south latitude. This is the first day of winter (winter solstice) in the Northern Hemisphere and the first day of summer (summer solstice) in the Southern Hemisphere.

December 21, 22 - Ursids Meteor Shower. The Ursids is a minor meteor shower producing about 5-10 meteors per hour. It is produced by dust grains left behind by comet Tuttle, which was first discovered in 1790. The shower runs annually from December 17 - 25. It peaks this year on the the night of the 21st and morning of the 22nd. The waning crescent moon should not interfere too much this year. Skies should still be dark enough for what could be a good show. Best viewing will be just after midnight from a dark location far away from city lights. Meteors will radiate from the constellation Ursa Minor, but can appear anywhere in the sky.

December 26 - New Moon. The Moon will located on the same side of the Earth as the Sun and will not be visible in the night sky. This phase occurs at 05:15 UTC. This is the best time of the month to observe faint objects such as galaxies and star clusters because there is no moonlight to interfere.

December 26 - Annular Solar Eclipse. An annular solar eclipse occurs when the Moon is too far away from the Earth to completely cover the Sun. This results in a ring of light around the darkened Moon. The Sun's corona is not visible during an annular eclipse. The path of of the eclipse will begin in Saudi Arabia and move east through southern India, northern Sri Lanka, parts of the Indian Ocean, and Indonesia before ending in the Pacific Ocean. A partial eclipse will be visible throughout most of Asia and northern Australia.
