When does the Soul leave your body?

Hi Avolonians...

At what point does your soul leave your body?

The way I see it your soul has unlimited awareness and consciousness and is creative in many ways. If you had a degenerative desease such as Alzheimer's or Dementia which affects your awareness and thoughts you lose all of these...don't you?

So at what point does the soul leave the body. Is it trapped in time until your body fades away and dies, thus experiencing another side of physical format.

the late Dr David Hawkins maintained that in the case that you mentioned the soul progressively leaves the body.
An empty shell remains functioning.
Even in a "normal" pre death the Soul does not feel the pain of death its gone before the final moments.
If its a pain free passing then the soul remains till the last.
Sometimes a soul can temporally remain in the vicinity after death.
Thats his take--maybe so!!!

Anyway the soul leaves the body every night while in the deepest part of sleep.

Yes I get that Chris...so maybe your Soul decides to leave once your physical format starts degenerating.

The soul doesn't have to wait till the body dies. It can leave during a coma (and if the body recovers, can return — or sometimes a new soul can even 'walk in' after a very long period of coma).

It's like having one's car off the road for a long time. One might go rent another one for a while until it's repaired.

And if someone is very elderly, weak, or infirm, or maybe has a fatal degenerative disease like Alzheimer's, then the soul can also leave 'early', or spend time going walkabout in the universe while returning intermittently. There are no hard and fast 'rules'.

Science accepts memory is stored outside of the brain so why do we assume the soul resides inside the body?

Nothing but energy--just different vibrations of that energy.

To corroborate some of what Bill said, just FYI, Traineehuman has a huge contribution of information in his "The Higher Self" thread.

In there he mentions his understanding that people with Alzheimer's, often their soul is off wandering/exploring/tending to other concerns, and the moments of lucidity are when you stop back in or are physically allowed to stop back in.

I've always found that to be kind of comforting.

Yes, it can fragment, and then soul retrieval (of the missing pieces) is needed. I always used to doubt this, but then experienced and resolved it myself. It's very real.

Hi Star that's strange I didn't use the thumbs down button...not sure where it is. Must of pressed by accident. If mods can take that off please. Edit all ok just worked it out.

Anyway one of the reasons why I posted was because my father has dementia and when I visit him he hardly recognises me and makes very little sense in conversation. I try to communicate with old photos which he occasionally recognises but most part he's in some far away land or nowhere. Just trying to understand his current mindset.

Could be a good place to bring up the concept of the "body consciousness." My theory is that at those times of incoherency, we're most likely just communicating with a person who's body consciousness is running the show, but I don't have the experiences or feedback of many of the astral elite to back up that theory yet. :- )

I like to think of Me as: Little Joe, the body consciousness; Joe, the soul in the middle of this incarnation; and Big Joe, the higher self made up of all my past personalities and more.

I know the concept sounds very much like what Svali (am I spelling that right?) the illuminati whistleblower talked about, isn't it? Where people are tortured just to get the soul to call it quits and abandon ship, that way they can have an "uninhabited" human now that they can "reprogram"...whatever that means... Might be a little too off topic for this thread.

Non duality says that there is only one soul---then we get into challenges with duality language.
So whats your definition bogdan 9310?

I think its not so simple to answer, because there are other bodies involved (psycho and mental, for example) to taking into account.

Then, the physical body is definitely discarded (by other more sutil bodies), when break up the silver cord, that connects the sutil bodies to the physical body, which obviously leaves the physical body without vitality, ie, dies.

This process doesn't end here, because the psycho body will be discarded too, before the mental body can reach out of time/space free of matter (physic and psych).

If you think the mental body that point still have the same soul inside it, I hope you can see the question can be more complex..
