    Default Product sales pitches

Marketing is finally running out of sales pitches for products. I picked up a bag of kitty litter today and the bag states that it has 24/7 protection. Thank goodness. I was thinking it only had 22/6 until I read the bag...like maybe on Wednesday at 3 in the afternoon it just stops for a couple hours, but NO! The other brand states that it has "maximum protection". Apparently the manufacturer was not allowed to add any more protection without breaking some law.

It was such a tough choice since I don't know if the 24/7 brand has that same maximum or not. Maybe the maximum refers to time, and so it also is 24/7. There is barrier that prevents protection beyond every second of the day/night, therefore, maximum.

    Tough choice.

A lot of marketing is more emotional or psychological, and if you think about what's being said logically, it makes absolutely no sense. It's like those signs you see at car dealerships that say, "Buy here, pay here!" As if you are going to buy something there but go pay for it somewhere else.

What makes these things effective, and why multi-million dollar companies employ these things, is because they bypass the conscious mind on some level and influence our thoughts/feelings subconsciously.

That's nothing. They wanted to shut down the Patent Office around 1890 because there was nothing left to invent.

J/k. Actually 24/7 is Pi, an ancient Greek musical note that auto-plays on an Aeolian harp when the wind hits six knots.

Sorry, sorry. Where they actually suckered you is you got the bag instead of a box.

To the plus side of kitty litter, by watching it notoriously, we saw one of our cats was having a hard time going, probably from UTI. We started adding a bit of apple cider vinegar to the animal water and I think it helps. If that gets bad, your animal can get blocked, which pretty much means surgery or death.

They thought they were selling diapers - their mistake.

Or.... cat diapers and in the pipeline and they want to see if you will buy by using the adequate wording. It was a market test.lollllllllllll

I used to think I had ghosts in my house. I would always hear clumping around late at night and into the wee morning hours. Turned out it was just my kitty litter. I now make sure to buy the non-clumping kitty litter.
I am enlightened, ............ Oh wait. That's just the police shining their spotlights on me.

I can not stand businesses that state something like "garage doors done right " or "plumbing done right ". I think we could all agree that when you hire a business you want the job done right. Its obvious, dont put that line your business it should be a given!!!!

Ha ha! Better make sure your toilet paper says biodegradable, otherwise it might not biodegrade!

The funny sales pitches work on me really well. I remember choosing a vacuum because it had the tagline "Just add dirt!"

Speaking of which, how about all those YouTube vegan celebs who lately admitted they had to start eating fish and eggs because their guts were all starting to rot?

So much for the "I can get everything I need from fruits and vegetables" argument.

It's commonly called "failure to thrive". We do need to eat mostly raw fruits and vegetables, but not at the exclusion of other God-given foods. Vegetarians can hold out longer than vegans, and those who eat only fruit are truly lost.
