Methylene blue may be useful for Candida Auris. I don't know. It seems to be pretty effective for other candidas. From https://earthclinic.com/ailments/fun...ural-remedies/:

    * Methylene Blue(MB). You can buy this at any aquatics or fish supply store. It is used to get rid of fungal and bacterial infections on fish. Also used throughout the last century as a successful anti-malarial. Taking MB on its own will turn your urine green and the whites of your eyes blue, but if you take at least 1000 mgs Vitamin C with the MB, these side-effects will not occur. Dosage: 4 – 6 drops of a 0. 1% solution of MB in a full glass of water once or twice a day. Do not take MB after 3 or 4 o’clock in the afternoon – it gives you alot of energy so you will not be able to sleep, MB is a deep acting anti-fungal that is able to penetrate the blood/brain and blood/bone barriers of the body. MB is also a marvellous mitochondrial super anti-oxidant for your brain — gives you lots of energy.

"MB is a deep acting anti-fungal that is able to penetrate the blood/brain and blood/bone barriers of the body."

That part is really important. Nothing else does that. If other candidas have gone that far and you don't get rid of them there, they will keep coming back. Maybe so for C. Auris as well.

I'm not a doctor, and I don't play one on TV.

What a coincidence that a deadly airborn fungus suddenly appears in the news while all of these other international issues are churning.
Sorry but isn't there ALWAYS some international issue churning.... ?
There seem to be always international issues, like UN Agenda 21, population reduction.
Candida albicans may not kill, but it can affect the human brain, among other things, and it's a big nuisance for the human immune system, lowering its effectiveness.

By some reason, whites (Caucasians) seem to be more prone to fungus infection.
These biological attacks by the powers that ain't are custom tailored.
Hanna Kroeger said Africans are more susceptible to RNA viruses and little wonder AIDS was invented to curb the population explosion in Africa.
(Avian flu, etc., 1990s were certainly geared toward Asians.)

At the back of Eustace Mullins' "Murder by Injection" he lists a Congressional record where X amount of money was allocated 1970s (in line with the conclusion by the Club of Rome about overpopulation) to invent a disease that will attack the human immune system. Sure enough, AIDS made its debut a few years later.
Bill Cooper said AIDS was invented using ET technology, but it's another story.

    Viva Turpentine and alternative treatments.

    Good place to repost this:

Detox protocols eliminate organic matter such as deadly Candida, bacteria, and fungus. Some rid the body of free radicals that contribute to poor health environment. Free radical damage cells, cell membranes, DNA, and proteins. Which in turn may cause cancer and other conditions. And most importantly, their 'dis-ease weapons' no longer thwart progress of our health, natural cognition and consciousness.

The willingness to experiment is essential. The great thing is many of these alternatives are inexpensive: castor oil, turpentine, H2O2, Vitamin C, MMS and diatomaceous earth.

Avalon offers a variety of healing modalities which include complimentary solutions, information, and personal accounts.

This is such an important post that Runningdeer has created. I am working my way through the information she has provided. Simple things like consumption of D.E. are very easy and inexpensive to do. I would like to add apple cider vinegar. Taking a tablespoon twice a day in a glass of water can be health building. Although there are no high cost studies done (why would there be, there is not big money to be made), the benefits have been passed down for generations. Here is a list of benefits of doing a detox with apple cider vinegar.

    Benefits of an ACV detox
Apple cider vinegar for detox in glass jar and bowl next to green and red apples n wooden table.
Apple cider vinegar has a number of purported benefits, including aiding weight loss.

Proponents of the ACV diet say that consuming ACV, either daily or as part of a dedicated ACV detox, brings the following benefits:

    helping with weight loss
    reducing appetite
    balancing the body's pH
    regulating blood sugar levels
    lowering high cholesterol
    improving digestion
    boosting the immune system
providing probiotics (good bacteria) to the gut
aiding in the removal of toxins
    healing skin conditions
    providing enzymes to the body

Some people may undertake an ACV detox to kick-start a healthier lifestyle, complete with a more balanced diet and regular exercise.

Why Use Baking Soda for Fungus Infections
    April 15, 2019
    by Dr. Mark Sircus
    https://drsircus.com/sodium-bicarbon...855bc9b61fb913
( Dr. Sircus has written a book about the medicinal uses of baking soda. Go to the link for more info.)
"A hushed panic is playing out in hospitals around the world as a deadly fungus is spreading killing a lot of people. Individual institutions, national, state and local governments have been reluctant to publicize outbreaks of this drug resistant infection, arguing there is no point in scaring patients — or prospective ones, meaning they do not want to scare patients away from going to hospitals. Officials are still scrambling to keep a lid on it as the infection is spreading around the globe, yet with the Measles, a dramatically less dangerous disease, they are getting hysterical.

Dr. Johanna Rhodes, an infectious disease expert at Imperial College London said "We are driving this with the use of anti-fungicides on crops and we have no idea where it’s coming from. We’ve never heard of it. It’s just spread like wildfire."

Thanks to the over-prescription of antimicrobial drugs had also laid the groundwork for this relatively new germ that preys on people with weakened immune systems according to the New York Times. The infection – a fungus known as Candida Auris, kills almost half of all patients who contract it within 90 days, according to the CDC – as it’s impervious to most major anti-fungal medications. First described in 2009 after a 70-year-old Japanese woman showed up at a Tokyo hospital with C. Auris in her ear canal, the aggressive yeast infection has spread across Asia and Europe – arriving in the US by 2016

Many of these patients do not need to die but it seems like doctors, hospitals and medical institutions would rather them perish than admit that sodium bicarbonate is the best anti-fungal for this and other fungal infections. Baking soda, also known as sodium bicarbonate, has significant anti-fungal effects. Laboratory studies show that baking soda is effective against most fungal species. Bicarbonate inhibited the growth of 80 percent of fungal isolates tested in one study. Many studies have shown that sodium bicarbonate at high concentrations has an antimicrobial effect over several microorganisms isolated from the oral cavity, including Candida albicans.

Some think that baking soda is the most potent anti-fungal substance there is because of its ability to rapidly change the Candida colonies’ pH from acid to alkaline, which effectively kills off the yeast before it has time to adapt to new environments. The problem with anti-fungal drugs, is that fungi are extremely adaptive, and can accommodate themselves to a new environment in three to four days. This renders anti-fungal drugs largely ineffective. The fungi do not adapt to the baking soda.

"It is a creature from the black lagoon," said the CDC’s Dr. Tom Chiller, who heads the fungal branch. "It bubbled up and now it is everywhere." In the last five years alone, it it has swept through a hospital in Spain, hit a neonatal unit in Venezuela, spread throughout India, Pakistan and South Africa, and forced a prestigious British medical center to close its ICU for nearly two weeks.

Simply put, fungi are evolving defenses to resist and survive modern medications. "It’s an enormous problem," said Imperial College of London fungal epidemiology professor Matthew Fisher, who co-authored a recent scientific review on the rise of resistant fungi. "We depend on being able to treat those patients with anti-fungal medications," that are no longer working for this infection.

Science Daily said, “Infectious diseases are the world’s number-one cause of death, with pathogenic fungi being responsible for extremely dangerous infections. Worldwide, more than €6 billion are spent each year on anti-fungal medications, and the total costs of the medical treatment of infectious diseases caused by pathogenic fungi are estimated in the order of hundreds of billions of Euros.”

    Fungus, Tuberculosis and Cancer

Dr. Luke Curtis is reporting on research that deals with 27 lung “cancer” patients who were later diagnosed with lung “fungus” instead of lung cancer. “Fungal infection can present with clinical and radiological features that are indistinguishable from thoracic malignancy, such as lung nodules or masses.” Doctors who diagnose lung cancer are unaware of the fact that cancer mimics fungal infections. Over one million people worldwide are misdiagnosed with tuberculosis when in reality they have an incurable disease with a similar outlook to many cancers, says a recent report published in 2011 in the Bulletin of the WHO.

The disease called “chronic pulmonary aspergillosis” (CPA) is a fungal infection not a bacterial infection. It looks very much like, or identical to TB when doctors look at it on a chest X-ray. Fungal infections kill at least 1,350,000 patients with, cancer, TB, asthma, or following AIDS; as well as causing untold misery and blindness to tens of millions more worldwide. Yet, like a Trojan horse its symptoms are mostly hidden, and occur as a consequence of other health problems.

Fungal disease is like the Trojan horse that threatens the world as deaths reach approximately 150 people per hour. Doctors need to wake up to the plight of millions people worldwide who suffer and die every year from fungal disease. Fungal disease is worldwide catastrophe that is growing year on year and now with this new anti-fungal resistant strain more deaths can be anticipated.

    Conclusion

There is no hiding the fact that baking soda, the same stuff that can save a person’s life in the emergency room in a heartbeat, is a primary safe and effective fungal treatment. In 2014 GAFFI– ‘The global action fund for fungal infections’ called on all policy makers and health agencies to wake up to the plight of more than 300 million people worldwide who suffer and die every year from fungal disease. So why do doctors not prescribe sodium or potassium bicarbonate?

Though it kills yeast and other infections quite quickly, its main function is to increase CO2 and oxygen levels, which are not conducive to cancer, tumor growth or fungus infections."

I had a copy of this book by Dr Trowbridge but there are a few problems when it comes to countermeasures. He lists foods not to eat and it's impossible to follow the regime. He also uses a drug derived from a certain "chemotherapy" drug, which will weaken the human immune and cause severe side effects. Nonetheless, it was the first book, as far as I know, by a mainstream physician dealing with the modern plague of fungus infection.

    https://www.canceractive.com/article...called-candida
Yes, some cancers are fungus-derived and they behave exactly like fungus, especially the way they spread (metastasis). But there are other types of cancer; virus and parasite derived.

Ah, the eternal enemy of truth says so, so Simoncini must be right.

Bottom line seems to be, keep the immune working and not overburden it.

Why Treat Cancer with Bicarbonate? Baking Soda Rescues Circadian Oscillation
    Published on April 19, 2019
    https://drsircus.com/sodium-bicarbon...n-oscillation/

"In terms of importance, appropriate bicarbonate levels are just as crucial as hydration, proper breathing (getting enough oxygen) staying warm, maintaining healthy pH (high oxygen status) and optimal nutrition. What we learn here changes the face of modern oncology because it is now clear, after the most recent research presented below, that bicarbonates should be included in all cancer patients protocols.

Ten years ago I wrote Sodium Bicarbonate – Rich Man’s Poor Man’s Treatment For Cancer. Since then, many researchers have sustained the assertion that it would be deplorable to leave this most basic substance out of anyone’s cancer treatment, even if one is using toxic chemotherapy and radiation.

I am not suggesting that anyone should follow Dr. Tullio Simoncini’s bicarbonate treatments administered intravenously. There is little flexibility in the blood for pH changes. Simoncini got into serious trouble for over alkalizing the blood of a patient, a condition that easily ends in death. Using oral and transdermal administration is preferable not only because of safety issues but also because one can get bicarbonate to all the cells in the body, which is impossible if one adds bicarbonate directly into the blood.

Simple baking soda is the ideal medicine for mitigating radiation exposure. It helps clear the kidneys of uranium toxicity. It certainly has been used when chemotherapy is administered and during cardiac arrest. It is also the treatment of choice for fungus infections. It addresses CO2 deficiencies. It helps in efforts to detoxify the body of the thousands of chemicals infecting us. It is an excellent antiviral pulling the rug out from under the little critters that are sensitive to pH changes. Most viruses are pH sensitive.

    Breakthrough Bicarbonate Cancer Research

Now we have more reason than ever to focus on bicarbonate therapy for cancer. A new Ludwig Cancer Research study said, “If you want to clean cancer’s clock—that is, defeat it decisively—you may want to really clean it—that is, restore it to proper working order. Only cancer cells that remain active, in sympathy with the tick-tock of their internal circadian mechanisms, remain susceptible to cancer therapies. So, how might these circadian mechanisms be kept in motion? Sodium bicarbonate now promises to awaken cancer cells that have gone to sleep deep inside tumors, where oxygen deprivation and acidic conditions go hand in hand. By buffering against acidification, sodium bicarbonate rescues circadian oscillation.”

You can think of the circadian cycle as a sort of internal clock of your body that regulates many different mechanisms. The cycle starts over about every 24 hours (hence the term “circadian”, coming from Latin circa “about” and dies “day”), and among its many functions, it tells cells when they’re supposed to produce and consume nutrients. Healthy cells are normally allowed to do so for about 12 hours a day, in order to prevent them from being overwhelmed by a flood of excessive nutrients.”

In order to keep dividing indefinitely, cancer cells cannot afford the periodic fasting imposed by the circadian rhythm; before they can divide, they need to grow, and in order to grow, they need nutrients. Therefore, furiously paced division requires furiously paced nutrient intake. Hence, all cancers evolve strategies to get around the circadian limitation.”

Acidification, the Ludwig researchers report, essentially disengages some of the elements that keep the cell’s circadian clock ticking. This acid-mediated effect, the researchers assert, can be reversed by sodium bicarbonate. When they gave tumor-xenografted mice water that had been supplemented with sodium bicarbonate, the acidity of hypoxic patches in the tumors was neutralized.

The study, presented May 31 2018, in the journal Cell, in an article entitled ‘Acid Suspends the Circadian Clock in Hypoxia through Inhibition of mTOR’. “Unexpectedly, we uncover a profound disruption of the circadian clock and diurnal transcriptome when hypoxic cells are permitted to acidify to recapitulate the tumor micro-environment,” the article states. “Buffering against acidification or inhibiting lactic acid production fully rescues circadian oscillation.”

The study’s authors, led by Chi Van Dang, M.D., Ph.D., scientific director of the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research, conclude that acid produced during the cellular metabolic response to hypoxia suppresses the circadian clock through diminished translation of clock constituents. Dr. Dang, who is also a professor in the Molecular and Cellular Oncogenesis Program at The Wistar Institute said, “But if you add baking soda to the drinking water given to those mice, the entire tumor lights up with mTOR activity. The prediction would be that by reawakening these cells, you could make the tumor far more sensitive to therapy.”

“We started out with a question about oxygen starvation and the circadian clock, and we ended up discovering a new mechanism by which acidic conditions in tissues shut off a lot of things—including the cell’s molecular clock,” muses Dang.

The finding that something as simple as baking soda could reverse this effect and render quiescent cancer cells susceptible to cancer therapies excites Dang. “The concept is so easy,” he says. “It’s not some $100,000 per year drug. It’s literally just baking soda.” Using MRI, medical scientists have seen how much of tagged bicarbonate is converted into carbon dioxide within tumors. In more acidic tumors, more bicarbonate is converted into carbon dioxide.

    Cancer and pH

Virtually every cancer patient will benefit from the use of sodium bicarbonate because it treats the low oxygen acid conditions universally found in cancer patients. Sodium bicarbonate shrinks tumors. (Bicarbonate inhibits spontaneous metastases (Robey 2009). ‘Bicarbonate Increases Tumor pH and Inhibits Spontaneous Metastases’ according to medical scientists. NaHCO3 therapy significantly reduced the formation of hepatic metastases following intrasplenic injection, suggesting that it did inhibit extravasation and colonization.

“Studies conducted at the University of Bari in Italy clearly demonstrated that a hallmark of all tumors, regardless of their origin or background, is their acidic environment. In fact, tumor progression increased with an acidic pH and hypoxia, or a low oxygen level,” writes Dr. Veronique Desaulniers. The perturbation in pH dynamics rises very early in carcinogenesis and is one of the most common patho-physiological hallmarks of tumors.”

“The results of a study suggest that tumor cells do, indeed, perform niche engineering by creating an acidic environment that is non-toxic to the malignant cells but, through its negative effects on normal cells and tissue, promotes local invasion.”

Tumor invasion did not occur into regions with normal or near-normal pH. Immuno-histochemical analyses revealed that cells in the invasive edges expressed the glucose transporter GLUT-1 and the sodium-hydrogen exchanger NHE-1, both of which were associated with peritumoral acidosis. In support of the functional importance of our findings, oral administration of sodium bicarbonate was sufficient to increase peritumoral pH and inhibit tumor growth and local invasion in a preclinical model, supporting the acid-mediated invasion hypothesis.

Increased systemic concentrations of pH buffers leads to reduced intratumoral and peritumoral acidosis. Oral NaHCO3 selectively increased the pH of tumors and reduced the formation of spontaneous metastases in mouse models of metastatic breast cancer. NaHCO3 therapy also reduced the rate of lymph node involvement and significantly reduced the formation of hepatic metastases. Acid pH was shown to increase the release of active cathepsin B, an important matrix remodeling protease.

    Cancer, Infections and Baking Soda

Oncologist Dr. Tullio Simoncini was persecuted for his use of sodium bicarbonate for cancer patients because he laid attention to the relationship between cancer and fungus. It needs to be remembered when connecting cancer with fungus that Cancer—always believed to be caused by genetic cell mutations—can in reality be caused by infections from viruses, bacteria, and fungi.

“I believe that, conservatively, 15 to 20% of all cancer is caused by infections; however, the number could be larger—maybe double,” said Dr. Andrew Dannenberg, director of the Cancer Center at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Dannenberg made the remarks in a speech in December 2007 at the annual international conference of the American Association for Cancer Research so it is another reason to treat cancer with a bicarbonate, which has strong anti-infection effects.

    Conclusion

Greater knowledge of the mechanisms that contribute to the survival of tumor cells is key to vanquishing them. Shutting down the circadian oscillation is one principle strategy that cancer cells employ to thrive and sodium bicarbonate fully rescues circadian oscillation. Thus it is time for mainstream oncologists to wake up to what medical science has to say about bicarbonates. There is just too much benefit and practically zero downside to bicarbonates. Bicarbonate has long been used in ICU, emergency departments and in ambulances. There is no reason it should not be employed for all cancer patients."

This is interesting ... an attempt to link Candida Auris with "climate change".

The premise is that human bodies are generally outside of the temperature range where fungi can flourish well, (too hot), but Candida Auris doesn't have this issue -- it appears to be a fungus that has adapted to being able to live well in higher temperatures - and thus becomes particularly problematic in the human body, where almost all other fungi are naturally somewhat inhibited by our "heat" levels.

The theory is that Fungi are adapting to higher heat levels due to global warming ... sounds a bit far fetched to me.

Regardless, C. Auris is here and its potentially quite a problem.

Hmmmm... so there are areas that are now much warmer(due to climate change) which has allowed Candida Auris to adapt to this warmer climate. That adaption now allows the fungus to live in the human body, or any body better? What about areas that have always been warm? The fungus should have adapted long ago in those areas? Sounds like another goofy claim to back up climate change to me. A really goofy claim.

Yeah that's what I was thinking ... it seems quite a stretch to me. It would potentially make more sense that this is a fungus that has just adapted to very hot climates (its not like the earth was freezing cold 200 years ago), and maybe somehow found a way to spread from their native areas.

That would be far more likely ... I'd even consider weaponization before "adapting to climate change"

Fungi cannot grow outside of aerobic environments, only yeast species, which can exist outside the body and inside the body.

Maybe there's an explosion of different yeast species, formerly aerobic varieties, that are adapting to anaerobic environments for different reasons.

Yeasts formerly adapted to cooler external temperatures, particularly in Northern climates, are now migrating into the body as they have learned how to do this in aerobic environments.

And...perhaps in places like India, species that were adapted to live aerobically are now hiding out in human bodies and living anaerobically because it is cooler at 98.6 than externally at 110 degrees.

Actually yeast is a fungi -- fungi is life Kingdom which yeast falls under. And there are both aerobic and anaerobic varieties.

I'm aware that yeast is a type of fungus. It is the only type of fungus that can exist in anaerobic environments.

Thanks for the clarification. In that case I think the wording you meant was "...except for the yeast species" .

    deDukshyn,

You just have to produce the right enzymes so you can thrive in a grammatically incorrect atmosphere!

Are you calling me pedantic!?? ... well maybe a little ... I have this internal insatiable desired to correct bad grammar where the wording may lead a reader away from what the writer intended, lol. 95% of all the worlds problems are created via communication issues, and thus can be somewhat mitigate through communication - its a driving force with me, more than just "policing". You'll have to bear with me ...
