If I hadn't seen the video, and just heard the audio, I would have thought it was about my boyfriend. Even seeing the video, Chunk reminds me remarkably of James Patrick; significant other.

Linda Zimmermann | Animal Reactions To UFOs

    Streamed & Published 4th August 2020

Guest Linda Zimmermann to discuss the reactions of animals during UFO sightings, which may provide clues to the nature of the phenomenon and how to conduct better research. So many sightings occur because the witness was alerted by a dog barking, or barnyard animals making sounds of alarm, but that aspect is usually just a brief mention in reports. Animals have keen senses and don’t have an imagination, so their reactions prove that something real is happening.

Bio: Linda Zimmermann is a research chemist turned award-winning author of over 30 books on science, history, the paranormal, and fiction. She has lectured across the country, and has appeared on numerous TV and radio shows.
Linda starred in the documentary, In the Night Sky: I Recall a UFO, which was based on her research into sightings in the Hudson Valley of New York. The film won the 2013 People’s Choice Award at the EBE Film Festival at the International UFO Congress in Arizona. Her three UFO books are: In the Night Sky, Hudson Valley UFOs, and More Hudson Valley UFOs. She is working on a Hudson Valley UFO compendium, as well as a book on animal reaction cases, and another major project which will be announced soon.
She is the host of two podcasts, UFO Headquarters, and the true crime show, Murder in the Hudson Valley, and the creator and writer of the 1950s-style sci-fi spoof series, Science Friction Theater, all on http://hudsonriverradio.com

This one is quite interesting as the herd of horses that she was meditating with added her to their herd so she would never be alone after some friends left her. Horses are so amazing and, slowly, people are beginning to understand animals are fully sentient. Not human, but horses are people too.

I wanted to post this when I remembered Sasha and her thoughts about horses

My sweet friend Jenny Andrews (aka Jenna Hive) tells us the amazing story of her powerful experience during a meditation with my lead horse Montaro, and the rest of the herd. And a transformative lesson she received about losing friendships. If you've ever lost a close friend, you'll want to watch this. We happened to have the cameras out as we were filming Mustang Herd Integration and so luckily managed to catch much of her story on film. Some comments from the page:

    Quote Heather Mefford

*I worked as an equine specialist and I was left in awe how equine therapy works with troubled kids and their families. I was a first responder for over 20 years and have developed a rather thick skin. I accepted the job at the therapeutic ranch and approached it as being the horse’s primary caretaker and observer during sessions. It took less than 2 weeks before I witnessed a miracle...

There was a child with extreme anger management who would attack EVERYONE if angered, frustrated or overwhelmed. She loved a particular miniature horse and would usually request her to work with. One day she had had a very bad day and showed up for her therapy session with smoldering anger. That miniature refused to do anything with her... She repeatedly avoided the girl. Finally, the girl became so frustrated that she turned to me with tears in her eyes and begged for me to “catch” that bratty horse. I asked her HOW she was feeling and she finally answered that she was very, very angry. That’s all it took...

She paused and thought about it and I watched the concept click in her head that horse’s WILL always avoid someone that is feeling very angry, frustrated or any other extreme or unbalanced emotion. She looked at me and said “I’m scaring her with my anger? I’m not angry with her...” I replied that all horse’s need to be able to trust you and when you’re that angry it frightens her. She literally made the connection that her out of control emotions and impulsivity was HURTING her relationship with her favorite horse. From that day forward she made impressive progress and I was privileged to watch her becoming a much more happy and more confident person.*

this reminds me a little of something I read--can't recall where but it was presented as an actual recently past event--about a farmer who always treated his herd of cows (milk cows, I hope) with affection and respect. Each cow had a name and the farmer spent time every day with very cow. One day he was out in the pasture doing something, maybe mending a fence, when suddenly an irate bull started to charge him from another quarter of the pasture. Immediately his herd gathered around him and sealed him off from the bull. The bull charged back and forth in front of the cordon the herd had formed but finally went away without harming either cows or farmer. These things happen.

    Speaking about hives...

I recently adopted some pet hornets!

I never in my wildest dreams thought this would ever occur.

I have a porch lamp and some hornets thought it would be an ideal place to set up shop (home).
It's covered by the lamp and the the porch has a roof too (so double coverage).

Well I had my front door opened a couple of weeks ago for a short time and I notice them critters flying back and forth in
and out of the lamp. I had never noticed them there before.

My first reaction to was to think how I was going to be able to get them out of there (safely).

Then after thinking about it some more, I decide to simply adopt them as pets!

They weren't doing me any harm and I wasn't doing them any harm so I figured what the heck,
let them enjoy the free shelter.

I already have some birds nests in a few of my trees.

The Shark netting program killed 364 marine creatures in NSW last year in these nets to satisfy our fear of nature. The dead include dolphins, turtles, endangered sharks, stingrays etc. The crazy thing about all these deaths is that there is no evidence that these shark nets, that are usually only 100 meters long, actually make people safer. Many of the targeted sharks were caught on the beach side of the nets as they were leaving. Besides there are many non lethal alternatives that are much more effective. Some people are being hoodwinked.
Last week while surfing in the Brunswick river mouth I utilised a technique taught to me by world renown Animal Communicator, Anna Breytenbach. I sent a telepathic message to any sharks that maybe in the area that I am their friend, I am not food or competition. I calmed my energy, breath and heart rate and I transmuted any lingering fear I may have around sharks. I said in my mind to any possible nearby shark, could you please keep a small distance away, and we can both be here in relative harmony with each other.
I know there are many would doubt that sharks and humans are able to communicate yet I would suggest there is no harm in utilising these techniques yourself next time your in the ocean. It is certainly no more fanciful that thinking shark nets will protect you.

First time sighting of a Mink for me.

I wish I had a pic, but it was too far away. (I need to get a good lenses for my camera).

It was running around in our back yard - so cute.

In our yard we have beaver (at least 4), chipmunks, cranes. I have seen all kinds of birds - all kinds of water foul. Ducks, cranes and geese. There are deer (although I have not seen one here myself.) Coyotes, and fox.

I don't think there are any black bear here anymore - too many people. Another hour north there are bear.

    "#21 Lime Hawk Moth
Found throughout Europe and Western Asia, this species has also been documented in eastern regions of Canada. While males are smaller than females, their coloration is usually more pronounced. Its body and wing shape, along with the combination of dark green and brown blotches almost makes it look like a camouflaged fighter jet.

    #20 Twin Spotted Sphinx
This one belongs to a family of hawk moths and is widely found throughout North America. While they occur as far north as the Yukon, they seem to be picky when it comes to California. According to some sources the creatures cannot be found in the southern or western regions of the Golden State.

    #19 Hornet Moth
If you didn’t know any better, you’d think this was a full-on hornet. It’s an example of mimicry in the animal kingdom. By resembling the more-fearsome insect, this moth is very unappealing to predators who don’t want to get stung. It’s even the approximate size of a hornet, and mimics the jerky flight pattern of that animal.

    #18 Gallium Sphinx
Also called the Bedstraw hawk-moth, these animals are widely dispersed across the globe. In addition to North America they show up in Central Asia, Japan, and the Arctic Circle in Europe. They’re active from May through October, but mainly at night.

    #17 Giant Leopard Moth
Compared to other moths on our list, a wingspan of some 3 inches (7.6 cm) might not seem so ‘giant’. While that’s a respectable size, there’s no debating their reference to leopards. Like those big cats, these insects display some unique, spotted patterns.

    #16 IO Moth (eye-oh)
The name “I-O” is a fitting name, given the prominent eye spots that appear on the wings of this species. As with other moths and butterflies with similar markings, the patterns are a defense mechanism that frightens away predators.

    #15 Pellucid Hawk Moth (peh-loo-sid)
Many entomologists find this species intriguing due to its unusual appearance. They have a stout body like a bumblebee, along with transparent wings that provide camouflage.

    #14 Garden Tiger Moth
The black spotting and orange hindwings of this animal obviously inspired the reference to tigers. But the patterns can vary depending on the individual animals. Researchers have found at least 500 variant patterns that occur within this species.

    #13 Luna Moth
Its wingspan can approach 7 inches (18 cm), making this one of the largest moths found in North America. The insect’s common name is a reference to Luna, the Roman goddess of the Moon. But their self defense mechanisms don’t sound so divine.

    #12 Owl Moth
This insect is found throughout India and into China and Japan. They’re a robust species, with a wingspan that measures more than 6 inches (160 mm). Their wings are distinguished by a pattern of black and brown stripes.

    #11 Hummingbird Hawk Moth
Thanks to its long proboscis (pruh-bos-sis), hovering behavior, and humming noise the reference to hummingbirds is easy to see. It even feeds on the same flowers as the namesake bird.

    #10 Hercules Moth
When a creature is named for a legendary demigod known for his power, you’d expect it to be big. The Hercules Moth is endemic to northern Australia and New Guinea. And its 11-inch wingspan (27 cm) makes it the largest moth known in Oz. "
