This may have been posted before but it touched my heart when I viewed it last night. So, just to share....

Endoto is a rescued baby elephant that grows up with the best human friend. Thanks to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust he was rescued and will soon be reintegrated into the wild.

Taigan Lions Park is located in the Crimean Peninsula, close to the town of Belogorsk. The nearest airport is Simferopol, about 55 km away.

"These are various animals & birds you can see in the park, including - Lions, Tigers, Leopards, Cougars, Snow Leopards, Jaguars, Hyena, different monkeys (Chimps, Orangutan, Baboons and smaller species), Wolfs, Brown & Black Bears, Camels, Horses, Buffalos, Cows, Alpacas, Giraffes and other hoofed mammals.

There are also Kangaroos, Pigs, Goats, Sheep, Raccoon, Raccoon Dogs, Coati, Foxes, a Roe Deer, Rabbits, Chickens, Guinea Hens, Peacocks walking around the park, Macaw Parrots, Vultures that are Crimean endemic, Pelicans, Flamingos, Cranes and others, and even a Seal.

There are about 80 Lions, 40 Tigers, other big cats are less numerous, 2-3 couples of each species.

None of the Lions have been castrated of sterilized and will often fight with each other and form prides with leader.

Taigan's territory is 32 ha, 20 of which serve as a big open savannah where Lions live during the warm season.

There are over 2 km of overpass roads from which visitors can observe Lions' natural life.

With more than 80 Lions, with many friendly lions with whom you can interact with, such as hug and pat and take selfies with.

All this costs just $6000 Rubles or about $90 USD"

Rare black tiger caught on camera by lucky photographer as just SIX now known to exist in the wild

ONE of just six ultra-rare black tigers known to exist in the world has been miraculously snapped by an amateur photographer.

Soumen Bajpayee took the pictures of the melanistic tiger, whose thick black stripes hide his orange fur, in eastern Odisha, India.

Soumen - who was blown away by the once-in-a-lifetime sighting - said he felt "fortunate" and "grateful" to have seen the rare creature.

    11 Amazing Facts About Hummingbirds

    https://www.facebook.com/verter.docu...74521637107529

Hummingbirds are so incredible, like tiny, living jewels!
Their songs are like no other sound on earth and when they are doing their mating dances, they fly so quickly it makes a kind of supersonic sound.
I created a collage once called Hummingbird Portal.
    It's featured here:http://www.spiritualwomen.org/collective1.php?a=8
with the caption: "Hummingbirds seem like such multi-dimensional beings to me.
I imagined a silvery portal through which they might fly to other times/spaces and back to ours again, bringing with them songs to tell us of what they've experienced there.

"E.T. is a 31-year-old Pacific walrus at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium in Tacoma, Washington.

He weighs over 3,400 lbs and is one of only 17 walruses in U.S. zoos and aquariums. E.T. came to the Zoo as an orphan from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska.

E.T. is named for his wrinkled resemblance to alien in the popular 1982 movie "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial." "

ID:	45184As many of you know I lost my beautiful Blue on October 23rd. I have been lost without her. I talk to her every day and while we are talking she sends one large yellow butterfly to sit with me.

On my walks I am lost without her. So I was driving by the pound Monday when I went to my office for the day and something said turn in so I did. There was this amazing white shepard/chow mix dog. Name: Bella.JPG

Size: 36.2 KB The pound worker said, "you don't want this dog, she has been abused and is pretty crazy". Well you know what happened. I took her home. I got her out of the car and she bolted. I have never seen an animal run that fast. For the next 3 hours I hunted her. Finally found her under the tree the buzzards roost in every night. I sat and talked with her. Told her all about Blue and that I wanted to put Blue's collar on her. She finally let me and I led her home. She has completely changed. Weirdly enough she does some of the same little things Blue used to do when she wants my attention. As I work she is on the couch in my office. She sits or lays in the same spot Blue used to inhabit. She bumps my leg with her nose when we are walking to let me know she is there....just like Blue did.
