I feel very sad today at this development.

New York Ends Religious Exemptions For Required Vaccines
    June 13, 20195:26 PM ET
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed a bill Thursday ending vaccination exemptions based on religious beliefs, the latest attempt to address the growing measles outbreak, the worst the U.S. has experienced in decades.

Cuomo said plugging the loophole should help contain the spike in measles cases in New York, the state the hardest hit by the uptick in the contagious virus due to low vaccination rates in ultra-Orthodox communities.

"The science is crystal clear: Vaccines are safe, effective and the best way to keep our children safe," Cuomo said after signing the bill. "While I understand and respect freedom of religion, our first job is to protect the public health and by signing this measure into law, we will help prevent further transmissions and stop this outbreak right in its tracks."

The Democratic-controlled Legislature approved the measure, which also eliminates other nonmedical exemptions for schoolchildren across the state.

"We are facing an unprecedented public health crisis," said Sen. Brad Hoylman, the legislation's sponsor. "The atrocious peddlers of junk science and fraudulent medicine who we know as anti-vaxxers have spent years sowing unwarranted doubt and fear, but it is time for legislators to confront them head-on."

The exemption, which exists in some form in most states, allows parents of schoolchildren to cite their religious beliefs in opting their kids out of required vaccines. Supporters of keeping the religious exemptions say religious freedom should not be overpowered by state laws.

After the final vote tally was announced in the assembly, howling protesters, including the parents of unvaccinated children, filled the chamber, chanting "shame on you," until lawmakers moved to recess.

New U.S. Measles Cases Break 25-Year-Old Record, Health Officials Say
Assembly member Patricia Fahy echoed Cuomo's stance before casting a vote in support of the measure. "When we put the rest of the public at risk," she said, individual choices to not vaccinate children become "another matter."

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported last week that the number of new measles cases this year has exceeded 1,000, the highest count in 27 years.

Most of those new measles cases have been concentrated in ultra-Orthodox areas of New York, including Rockland County and parts of Brooklyn, adding urgency to the statewide debate around religious exemptions to vaccines.

The New York Assembly narrowly passed the bill by a 77-53 vote. It needed 76 votes for passage. Lawmakers in the state Senate advanced the measure by a tally of 36-26.

A small number of other states including California, Mississippi and Arizona have already passed laws banning vaccine exemptions on religious grounds.

In New York, about 96% of students have been immunized against measles, mumps and rubella, yet "a measles outbreak continues to affect communities in several parts of the state where the rate is lower," according to state health officials.

In the 2017-2018 school year, 26,217 students in New York, including those in public and private schools and children in day care and prekindergarten, had religious exemptions from vaccinations, officials said.

"Although the state can claim high immunization rates overall, preventable diseases like measles remain a public health threat when administrative loopholes allow children to go unvaccinated, carrying the potential to harm communities — and especially our most vulnerable residents," said Dr. Howard Zucker, the commissioner of the state Department of Health.

New York state Sen. John Liu, who represents Queens, said while he thinks removing the religious exemption is the right move, he has heard from constituents who hold "deep and sincere" religious beliefs who would be "absolutely outraged that anyone would suggest that they don't care about the health of their children." Liu suggested that the tenor of the debate on both sides could be more civil.

"We can respectfully disagree," Liu said.

The law eliminating religious exemptions takes effect immediately.

Unvaccinated students will have up to 30 days to show school officials they have received their first dose of each required immunization.

In April, New York City health officials declared a public health emergency because of the measles outbreak. Parents of unvaccinated children could be fined $1,000 for not complying with the order.

I am sure that others who are looking at this thread may have something to contribute? I am very sad today about the collusion between government and big business. Trump recently signed an executive order concerning GMOs that is very distressing. The evidence in New York suspiciously ties the legislation removing religious exemption with investment in Albany.

BUT what is absolutely infuriating is that people have bought into a basic belief in their own illness and dependency on pharmaceuticals. People actually believe in the primacy of vaccination over the right to speak and the right to determine the bodily experiences we KNOW we have the right to maintain. IMO the audience that I would like to see feel passionate here is missing. I do not grok how this issue is not galvanizing people?

All the material needed to self educate and understand is available for the moment. The way to "web browse" sources will not be found on the internet soon.

WE are basically being divorced from NATURE (within and outside us) and turned into sickly creatures. I agree with RSB's perspective on our relationship to Creator.
RSB is IMO worth viewing every day to center in the power we have to heal, to stand up for liberty and the stakes that exist politically biophysically and socially in ignoring the present developments. Know and use the truth or not, the truth IS truth.

Thecontrolgroup.org is attempting to gather surveys of the health status of 40,000 unvaccinated children. The assumption is that even if all other variables are different, vaccines are associated with definite health issues. The health surveys are confidential and subjectively filled out by parents. There are no scientifically double blind studies where some children received vaccines and others a real placebo. This kind of study is considered unethical.

Those who have read the available research will discover that the "gold standard" of safety studies have not been done, because vaccines are categorized as "biologics" where the FDA does not require the safety studies of other pharmaceuticals.

Interview with Joy Garner about the project on lost Arts Radio
Quote 6/15/2019 The Control Group Project - Real Science On Vaccines With Joy Garner (on Brighteon)

For many years, we have been told by the medical industry and their government agency business partners that it would be immoral to do any real testing on the health of vaccinated children compared to unvaccinated children. Why? Of course, because not vaccinating the control group is blatantly unfair and hurtful to them. We all know everyone needs as many vaccines as possible, and withholding any of them as an experiment would be abusive. Just total common sense, right?Joy Garner Vaccines Poster

It's much like the argument of the vaccine companies, when they came to Congress and explained they were losing so much money in their business because parents of maimed and killed children damaged by their products (vaccines), as well as family members of maimed and killed adults, kept suing them which was ruining their profits. How inconsiderate of them! Without legal immunity, allowing vaccine companies to kill your children or you with no consequences, they would be forced out of business. And since everyone knows vaccines are the greatest medical breakthrough in 200 years, that they are safe and effective, that they eradicated polio, smallpox and many other terrible diseases, it only made sense for Congress to pass a law so you could not sue doctors or vaccine makers when their products killed your family members. Totally reasonable.

So Congress said 'great, where do we sign up?', and the vaccine makers and lobbyists for the vaccine industry gladly showed them. They have had no legal or financial liability ever since. Reagan was the president who signed the immunity into law. The crimes against humanity that this immunity allows, continue to this day.

But greatness lies in "ordinary" people, like for example, all of us. Like you. Like Joy Garner (www.thecontrolgroup.org). Joy decided, 'wait a minute!' (or translated into Canadian, 'hold the phone!'), we already have the control group. No need to deprive a single child of any vaccine to do the experiment, let's just check on the detailed health status of already non-vaccinated kids and compare what we find with national health statistics. Once that data is in the open for all to see, all kinds of new possibilities emerge that could save the kids of the future, and maybe even some alive right now. Want to see what Joy's project is uncovering?

Robert Scott Bell has a program that will update people on the medical industrial/government crack down. He was on youtube but today the video was made unavailable due to SME copyright violation. There is something VERY sinister happening fast and furious.

I am personally not too worried as I am now at an age where I enjoyed all the food, had all the sex, enjoyed all the stuff and etc to make me replete with material life. Honestly, when my body goes dead, I will enjoy experiencing a new realm that I am certain exists. This makes me feel for me all really is well. I love what I love here but it won't ever call me back.

When people have youth, unfulfilled dreams and children with a hope for life ahead, THIS crunch is a beginning oppression and possibly a deliberate kill switch slowly turned. The heel if ignored will just ground harder and given the silencing and EVEN here the willingness to argue over RIDICULOUS memes and shut down speech, well, the trend bodes ill.

It disappoints me for humanity that in the case of this issue, people will act like they are not a potential target of coercion and agree to rabid hate and fear of trite issues while silencing others. Maybe this IS the end of the human line and IMO we have our own inability to think straight about priorities to blame.

RSB is online here and here in case people listen to him with interest.

    Talk Stream Live

    Robert Scott Bell

And if Constance looks on, IMO don't agree to the thought forms aimed at you ... they lie.

Vaccine hesitancy is based on experiences like this one:

Quote CBS ” 60 MINUTES” documentary on the swine flu epidemic of 1976 in the U.S. It went on air only once and was never shown again. Watch this video documentary and listen to testimony of people who caught Gullian-Barre paralysis because of the swine flu vaccine. They sued the US government for damages.

500 cases of Gullian-Barre paralysis, including 25 deaths—not due to the swine flu itself, but as a direct result of the vaccine. At the time President Gerald Ford, on advice from the CDC, called for vaccination of the ENTIRE population of the United States.

Quote Retrospective: What Happened With Swine Flu in 1976
    By Jennifer Couzin-FrankelApr. 25, 2009

Infectious disease specialist Edwin D. Kilbourne, now 88 and retired, was at the center of the last swine flu scare in the U.S. In 1976, a swine flu strain swept through Fort Dix, a military base in New Jersey. The virus infected about 500 soldiers, though not all got sick; one died. Kilbourne, then at Mount Sinai Medical School in New York City, specialized in developing vaccines to specific flu strains and was quickly recruited to help combat a feared swine flu epidemic. Forty million Americans were subsequently vaccinated against the virus, and several hundred developed a neurological condition, Guillain-Barré syndrome, fanning controversy about whether such extensive vaccination was necessary. Kilbourne spoke with ScienceInsider from his home in Connecticut earlier today. Parts of the interview were edited for clarity.

    Q&A after the jump.

Q: What are your memories of that time?

I’d been recombining, or resorting, influenza viruses for several years before that, to produce high-yielding influenza viruses [that could be developed into vaccines]. David Sencer, the director of the CDC who later had to resign [as a result of swine flu], was a friend of mine and put me on the advisory committee having to do with the Fort Dix situation. [Virus samples were] sent to me at my lab in Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where I was chair of microbiology. Within several weeks, we had a high-yielding virus [and] I had the vaccine virus made. … There was reason to be scared—we knew that a virus very similar to the swine flu had been present in 1918. That gave cause for great concern to those of us who knew something about the situation.

Q: You believed it was important to have this vaccine?

I believed it was important—this could have been the putative virus of 1918 for all we knew. [But] there were those violently opposed to the situation. I call it my 15 minutes of infamy. It got to be a bad word, swine flu. On the other hand, had we not had the vaccine and something had happened, who would be blamed? The entire medical profession.

Q: What about adverse reactions to the vaccine?

This was the largest field trial of a vaccine in history, carried out in 1976. There was no baseline for comparison of what is the normal occurrence of Guillain-Barré syndrome. People are arguing to this day whether [the vaccine] really had any effect on the incidence. There are a lot of things that cause Guillain-Barré.

Q: Were you criticized for developing the vaccine?

With cartoons, on news programs. … It was an interesting ride.

Q: If you were advising those who are tackling the current swine flu, what would you tell them?

The only thing I would have done differently in 1976, retrospectively, is to make the vaccine, promote the vaccine, but not give the vaccine until the last moment—but the problem with that is that you may be too late. By all means, find the prevalent strain, make a vaccine that can be used, and grow it in eggs, and then go with it. [But] I think it’s premature to do it [vaccinate] now.

Q: Did you continue working on swine flu after 1976?

Oh, sure. We used it in animal studies, it was used by people in other countries as a rapidly growing vaccine virus. It was an interesting virus.

Message from Children’s Health Defense Chairman Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

Dear Friends Outraged by New York’s Repeal of the Religious Exemption Right:

On Thursday, June 13, without even a hearing, the New York State legislature repealed the right to religious exemption from vaccination, and Governor Cuomo signed the measure into law, calling the situation “a public health emergency.” In thirty days, all partially and unvaccinated children will be official second-class citizens, unable to attend any school, public or private, or any camp.

This extraordinary, unprecedented action is a gross violation of children’s and families’ rights to religion, an education, parenting according to one’s conscience, and informed and voluntary consent to medical procedures. While New York State has an unquestionable interest in public health, that interest may not overwhelm all other fundamental rights. Legislation affecting constitutional rights must be carefully and thoughtfully balanced, something that was impossible in the legislature’s and Governor’s rush to ram through the repeal.

Children’s Health Defense (CHD) has been a leading advocate for children’s health and welfare for some time. It has devoted significant attention to the need for safer vaccines, as Congress called for in 1986 when it granted the pharmaceutical industry virtually blanket liability protection from vaccine injury. CHD supported intensive work to educate New York legislators on the need to preserve the religious exemption. Together with Robert Krakow and Patricia Finn, I represented plaintiffs in Brooklyn to challenge a mandate overriding lawful religious exemptions.

I will challenge this repeal legislation in court. I am assembling a team of top flight attorneys to challenge this ill-conceived law on multiple grounds. While it is premature to spell out the CHD plan of attack, please know that I will help to bring the best legal talent available anywhere to overturn this unjust law.

You can help. Please donate money to CHD to challenge the NYS repeal. Doing so is not only essential for the 26,000 children in New York affected by this draconian measure, it is critical for the country. With California and New York having enacted harsh, discriminatory and punitive laws, it is truly just a question of time before other states take a page out of New York’s book to ram through rights-stripping laws. We can fight this and win, but we need your help.

    Thank you for your generosity.

It’s bizarre how many people are being convinced to become shrill advocates of the government forcing medical procedures on people. My friends were recently denied emergency room care for their child because they don’t vaccinate. Some health care workers are hysterical on this point, while others take a more balanced, intelligent view.
There's no time like the present.

IMO the situation is quite unbelievable, ominous and insufferable. To deny a person health care over the issue is also a portent of the severity of the situation we face here. For the providers to withhold care is unethical and completely inexcusable. What is wrong with these people that they are agreeing to be agents of a system run amok? Facts (and lack of facts) make no difference. I feel quite like I am in a Kafka-esque reality.

The main thing is that for decades and decades, none of this hysteria about vaccination was present and NOW it is happening and WHY?

    by Jeremy R. Hammond | Jun 17, 2019

Facebook has unveiled a new “Fact-Checker” feature that’s now being used to supposedly combat misinformation about vaccines, but which is actually being used to propagandize. A “Fact-Checker” showing up on a popular video by Del Bigtree, host of the show The HighWire, claims that the video is presenting false information. However, Facebook itself in this case is guilty of misinforming its users about vaccine safety.

Those in the mainstream discourse calling for efforts to combat misinformation about vaccines actually have no problem at all with misinformation. Transparently, what they instead have a problem with is any information that might lead parents to conclude that strictly complying with the routine childhood vaccine schedule recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) might not be in the best interests of their child. They have no problem with lies about vaccine safety and effectiveness as long as it’s intended to persuade parents to vaccinate their children.

This is evident in the case of the aforementioned Facebook “Fact-Checker”. In the HighWire video, published on May 4, 2017, Bigtree states that ingredients used in vaccines include aluminum and mercury, which are both known neurotoxins, and that vaccines can cause encephalopathy, which is a term encompassing any type of brain damage, disorder, or disease. This includes encephalitis, which refers to inflammation of the brain. On the screen, he shows the product package insert for Merck’s measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine, which lists encephalitis and encephalopathy among the possible adverse consequences of getting an MMR shot.

Facebook’s “Fact-Checker” that now appears with the video states that this is “False”, adding that “Current data shows that vaccines are safe and do not cause toxicity or encephalopathy”. This links to an article on the website of the organization Health Feedback titled “Contrary to popular video claim, vaccine ingredients are safe, not linked to encephalopathy”.

    Facebook fact-checker on vaccines
    A screenshot of Facebook’s “Fact-Checker” on a HighWire video

The Health Feedback article presents a fabricated quote, attributing to Bigtree the words “Toxic vaccine ingredients in the MMR vaccine cause encephalopathy”. While Bigtree does suggest this, those words do not appear in the video and so should be presented as a paraphrase, not as a direct quote. The whole context of Bigtree’s video is omitted, which is that it was a response to a video by Bill Nye (“The Science Guy”) in which Nye misleadingly implies that the viral or bacterial antigens are the only components of vaccines. Bigtree was educating his viewers that, to the contrary, vaccines also contain numerous other ingredients, including, depending on the vaccine, known neurotoxins aluminum and mercury.

Neither Facebook nor Health Feedback express any objection to Bill Nye misleading his viewers into the false belief that vaccines contain a viral or bacterial antigen component and nothing else.

Continuing in his video, Bigtree asks what happens if you inject aluminum into a baby. “Has there ever been a safety test on it?” he rhetorically inquires, then answers the question: “Never.”

He points out that mercury is the most toxic non-radioactive substance known to man and is included in flu shots being given to pregnant women. (Multi-dose vials of inactivated influenza vaccines contain the mercury-based preservative thimerosal.) Other ingredients Bigtree claims are in vaccines are formaldehyde and anti-freeze (propylene-glycol). Then he states that aluminum and mercury from vaccines end up in the brain. After rhetorically asking what happens when these neurotoxic substances reach the brain, Bigtree suggests that one consequence can be encephalopathy. It is at this point that he shows encephalopathy listed as a possible adverse event on the MMR vaccine package insert.

Here, Bigtree does mislead his viewers by implying that the MMR vaccine contains either aluminum or mercury, or both. In fact, it contains neither. Moreover, while formaldehyde is used in vaccines, propylene-glycol is not; although another chemical used to make anti-freeze, polyethylene glycol, has been. Had Facebook’s “Fact-Checker” taken an objective approach, they would have pointed out that Bigtree was right to criticize Nye for misleading his viewers, but wrong to suggest that either of these ingredients are in the MMR vaccine and wrong to say that anti-freeze is an ingredient in vaccines. Instead, they hypocritically singled out Bigtree for criticism.

Furthermore, Health Feedback itself hypocritically misinforms its readers, stating falsely that “No scientific evidence supports a causal association between vaccines or its ingredients (thimerosal, aluminum adjuvants, propylene glycol) and encephalopathy.”

“The claim that the MMR vaccine causes encephalopathy”, the Health Feedback article continues, “is based on a misinterpretation of the vaccine package insert information.”

The article acknowledges that multi-dose vials of the flu shot do contain thimerosal, which is about half ethylmercury by weight. But it claims that ethylmercury is “eliminated by the body quickly, unlike methylmercury, meaning that it does not accumulate in the body.”

Likewise, the article acknowledges that vaccines can contain aluminum salts, which are used as an adjuvant, meaning a substance included in a vaccine to elicit a stronger immune response. But, the article adds, “the levels in vaccines are low and safe”.

Also acknowledged is the fact that encephalopathy appears on the MMR package insert under the heading “Adverse Reactions”. The article argues, however, that the insert explicitly lists these “without regard to causality”, and that it is “therefore erroneous to assert a causal relationship between vaccines and encephalopathy on the basis of the package insert information.”

Health Feedback further argues: “The claim that vaccine safety is completely unknown is false. The Institute of Medicine—part of the National Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine—reviewed childhood immunization schedules and found them to be safe.”

The truth is, however, that on every single one of these points, it is Facebook and its “Fact-Checker” partner who are misinforming the public.

Aluminum Is Neurotoxic and Does Accumulate in the Brain
Just as Del Bigtree stated, there has never been a study of the effects of injecting aluminum into human babies. The counterclaim that this has been studied is a flat-out lie. The study that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the CDC chiefly rely on to support their claim that the aluminum in vaccines is safe, by Robert Mitkus et al., was done in rodents.

While the government claims that this study shows that it’s safe to inject aluminum into infants in the doses contained in vaccines, it actually doesn’t. For one, as already noted, it was a study in rodents and therefore can’t logically be used to make conclusive judgments about the safety of this practice in humans.

Moreover, the study relied on a “minimal risk level” that other rodent studies had shown to be more than seven times higher than quantities of aluminum that had been observed to cause adverse effects.

Furthermore, the aluminum was administered to the rodents in the Mitkus et al. study by ingestion, not injection, and the FDA knows perfectly well that this is scientifically invalid because, whereas nor more than about 1 percent of ingested aluminum is absorbed into the body, injecting it bypasses the body’s innate immune system—of which the protective gut lining is a part—and deposits the aluminum directly into the tissue.

Mitkus, et al, also only considered the amount of aluminum that wound up in the blood, totally ignoring the amount of aluminum remaining elsewhere in the body. They did so even while acknowledging that aluminum particles from vaccinations are taken up by immune cells known as macrophages, which can transport the aluminum elsewhere; that “aluminum accumulates in the brain”; and that “only a fraction” of aluminum injected into the body from vaccines is absorbed into the blood within 28 days of vaccination.

So the truth is just as Del Bigtree stated: we really have no idea what the effects are of injecting aluminum into human babies and what the long-term adverse consequences of this practice might be because there’s never been a study properly designed to answer that question. The FDA allows vaccine manufacturers to include aluminum in vaccines even though there has never been a randomized, placebo-controlled study in humans to determine the safety of injecting aluminum adjuvants into infants.

Ethylmercury, Too, Is Neurotoxic and Accumulates in the Brain
Similarly, the claim propagated by Facebook and Health Feedback that ethylmercury, unlike methylmercury, doesn’t accumulate in the body is false.

It is true that the CDC itself makes that claim on its website in similar wording as the Health Feedback article. However, to support this claim, the CDC cites a 2004 report by the Institute of Medicine that actually acknowledged the fact that no randomized placebo-controlled trials had ever been done to determine the safety of injecting ethylmercury into infants (or pregnant women); all the studies the CDC was relying upon to support its claim that this practice was safe were retrospective observational studies suffering from methodological limitations that prevented scientists from being able to draw conclusive judgments.

Furthermore, the IOM report explicitly acknowledged that thimerosal is a “known neurotoxin”; that some of the mercury from thimerosal exposure “accumulates in the brain”; and that “heavy metals, including thimerosal, can injure the nervous system.”

The FDA’s own scientists have also acknowledged in the peer-reviewed medical literature that “similar toxicological profiles between ethylmercury and methylmercury suggest that neurotoxicity may also occur at low doses of thimerosal”. Furthermore, “no controlled studies have been conducted to examine low-dose thimerosal toxicity in humans”.

Another study the CDC relies upon to support its claim about ethylmercury’s safety has been described by FDA researchers as “the most relevant study on which to base a comparative assessment of infant mercury exposure or risk from thimerosal [ethylmercury] relative to MeHg [methylmercury].”

But this study, too, does not actually support the CDC’s claim. The study, by Thomas M. Burbacher et al. and published in the journal Environmental Health Perspectives in 2005, in fact contradicts the CDC’s claim, having shown that, while more readily eliminated from the blood than methylmercury, ethylmercury is more persistent in the brain, where it accumulates.

The study observed that once in the brain, ethylmercury breaks down into inorganic mercury (meaning that the mercury molecules are no longer attached to carbon molecules), that inorganic mercury in the brain has been associated with brain inflammation, and that brain inflammation has been demonstrated in the brains of autistic patients.

Far from concluding that it is safe to inject ethylmercury into infants and pregnant women, the study actually expressed concern that scientists have “limited knowledge of the toxicokinetics and developmental neurotoxicity of thimerosal” and emphasized that studies to determine this were “urgently needed” to be able to draw any meaningful conclusions about “the potential developmental effects of immunization with thimerosal-containing vaccines in newborns and infants.”

In other words, the CDC’s own source contradicts the CDC’s claim and supports what Del Bigtree says in his video, which is that there has never been a safety study designed to determine the effects of injecting this substance into human babies.

In sum, the assertion propagated by Facebook and Health Feedback that aluminum and mercury in vaccines are “safe” substances that are readily eliminated from and don’t accumulate in the body is false. On the contrary, it is completely uncontroversial in the scientific literature that both of these substances are neurotoxic, pass through the placental and blood-brain barriers, and accumulate in the brain and other organs. And it is true that there has never been a safety study to determine the risks of injecting these substances into human subjects at the levels children are exposed to by the CDC’s schedule.

The misinformation propagated by Facebook and its “Fact-Checker” partner to persuade the public that the mercury and aluminum in vaccines are non-toxic doesn’t end there, though. Whereas they claim that the entire CDC childhood vaccine schedule has been studied and found that it is “safe”, the 2013 IOM report they rely upon to support this assertion actually admitted that “existing research has not been designed to test the entire immunization schedule”. Far from affirming that science has proven that it is safe to administer vaccines to children according to the CDC’s schedule, the IOM report acknowledged that “studies designed to examine the long-term effects of the cumulative number of vaccines or other aspects of the immunization schedule have not been conducted.”

So on this count, too, it is Facebook and its partner who are lying to Facebook users.

The MMR Vaccine Can Cause Encephalopathy
Finally, whereas Facebook and Health Feedback claim that there is no scientific evidence to support the conclusion that the MMR vaccine can cause encephalopathy, in fact, that it can is not even controversial. Merck itself acknowledges this as a proven fact.

It is true that just because an adverse event is listed in a vaccine package insert doesn’t necessarily mean that it has been scientifically demonstrated that adverse events reported following the administration of vaccines were caused by the vaccinations. It is true that Merck states explicitly that the adverse events listed on its MMR package insert are listed “without regard to causality”.

Evidently, however, Facebook’s “fact-checkers” couldn’t be bothered to read the whole insert. If they had, they would have noticed that two pages prior, under the heading “Contraindications”, Merck acknowledges that “Measles inclusion body encephalitis (MIBE), pneumonitis and death as a direct consequence of disseminated measles vaccine virus infection have been reported in immunocompromised individuals inadvertently vaccinated with measles-containing vaccine.”

Again, just because an adverse event is reported following vaccination doesn’t mean the vaccine caused it; however, the measles virus itself is a known cause of encephalitis, the MMR is a weakened live virus vaccine, and Merck’s insert cites a 1999 case report published in Clinical Infectious Disease that documented encephalitis in a previously healthy patient that was associated with the vaccine strain of measles, which was found in the deceased patient’s brain. “Unless he was infected with an as-yet-undescribed wild-type genotype A virus,” the study concluded, “the vaccine strain was indeed the causative agent in this case.” They described their case report as “the first to clearly demonstrate that severe neurological disease can be caused by the vaccine strain of measles virus.”

The MMR manufacturer’s own Merck Manual, the self-described “best first place to go for medical information”, states explicitly that “Encephalitis can occur as a secondary immunologic complication of certain viral infections or vaccinations.” (Emphasis added.)

The summary presented on the version of its entry for “Encephalitis” intended for consumers, rather than physicians, likewise acknowledges that “Encephalitis is inflammation of the brain that occurs when a virus directly infects the brain or when a virus, vaccine, or something else triggers inflammation.” (Emphasis added.)

That page goes on to say that encephalitis “can occur” when a “virus or vaccine triggers a reaction that makes the immune system attack brain tissue (an autoimmune reaction).” (Emphasis added.)

The 1999 case report in Clinical Infectious Disease is of course not the only scientific evidence that vaccines can cause encephalopathy. The prior year, a study was published in Pediatrics—the journal of the industry-funded American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)—that reviewed claims submitted to the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) to determine whether there is evidence for a causal relationship between measles vaccination and encephalopathy.

The VICP was established under the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act, which granted broad legal immunity to manufacturers of vaccines recommended by the CDC for routine use in children. The compensation program is funded by an excise tax on every vaccine dose administered and effectively shifts the financial burden for vaccine injuries away from the pharmaceutical corporations and onto the taxpaying consumers.

As Del Bigtree pointed out in his HighWire video, the VICP has paid out billions of dollars in compensation. To date, the amount that taxpaying consumers have paid in order to fund this compensation is approximately $4.1 billion.

The Pediatrics study found that there was a statistically significant clustering of cases in which onset of neurological signs or symptoms occurred on the eighth or ninth day post-vaccination. The study’s authors concluded that this clustering “suggests that a causal relationship between measles vaccine and encephalopathy may exist as a rare complication of measles immunization.”

A commentary on that 1998 review in the journal Pediatric Neurology Briefs stated that “A causal relationship between measles vaccination and severe and sometimes fatal encephalopathy, although rare, is cause for concern.” While measles vaccine had been responsible for greatly reducing incidence of measles in the US, “the need for safer vaccines is also apparent.”

A study published in Pediatrics in 2004 states, “Measles inclusion body encephalitis (MIBE) is a disease of the immunocompromised host and typically occurs within 1 year of acute measles infection or vaccination.” (Emphasis added.)

So, as you can see, the manufacturer of the MMR vaccine itself acknowledges that it can cause encephalopathy, and that it can do so is characterized as a demonstrated fact by the journal of the AAP.

Similarly, the US government itself has acknowledged that vaccines can cause encephalopathy.

One well-known VICP case was that of Hannah Poling, who developmentally regressed into diagnosed autism after receiving nine vaccine doses at once at 19 months of age. There are others. According to a 2011 study published in Pace Environmental Law Review, “the VICP has been compensating cases of vaccine-induced encephalopathy and residual seizure disorder associated with autism since the inception of the program.” The authors found “eighty-three cases of autism among those compensated for vaccine-induced brain damage.”

With respect to young Hannah, the government conceded that “the facts of this case meet the statutory criteria for demonstrating that the vaccinations CHILD received on July 19, 2000, significantly aggravated an underlying mitochondrial disorder, which predisposed her to deficits in cellular energy metabolism, and manifested as a regressive encephalopathy with features of autism spectrum disorder.”

In the Poling case, the US Department of Health and Human Services, which administers the VICP, “conceded that petitioners are entitled to compensation based on a determination that she suffered an injury identified on the Vaccine Injury Table, specifically, a presumptive MMR vaccine-related injury of an encephalopathy. Hannah’s encephalopathy eventually manifested as a chronic encephalopathy with features of autism spectrum disorder and a complex partial seizure disorder as a sequela.”

The Vaccine Injury Table lists adverse events that are recognized to be caused by vaccines. With respect to encephalopathy, it states that “A vaccine recipient shall be considered to have suffered an encephalopathy if an injury meeting the description . . . of an acute encephalopathy occurs within the applicable time period [post-vaccination] and results in a chronic encephalopathy . . . .” It states the same thing with respect to encephalitis.

Under the VICP, if the onset of encephalopathy or encephalitis is temporally associated with vaccination, absent some other more likely explanation, it is assumed to have been caused by the vaccination.

The table lists “Encephalopathy or encephalitis” as a covered injury for both of the triple combination vaccines on the CDC’s childhood schedule: the diphtheria, tetanus, and acellular pertussis (DTP) vaccine and the MMR.

How Facebook Is Helping the Government Censor Factual Information about Vaccines
Facebook’s “Fact-Checker” feature is purportedly intended to address the problem of “false news”. To this end, Facebook works “with third-party fact-checkers who are certified through the non-partisan International Fact-Checking Network to help identify and review false news.” Facebook asserts that “Third-party fact-checkers investigate stories in a journalistic process meant to result in establishing the truth or falsity of the story.”

But as you’ve just seen, in this case, Facebook’s “fact-checker”, instead of doing journalism, instead simply regurgitates false claims made by the government—most specifically, lies told to the public by the CDC in pursuit of its goal of attaining increased demand for the pharmaceutical industry’s vaccine products.

At the foot of the Health Feedback article, there’s a prominent green “International Fact-Checking Network” seal, as though this affiliation lent authority to what is predominantly a misinformative piece of content that outright lies to its readers about vaccine safety.

This International Fact-Checking Network is a project of the Poynter Institute. It’s launch was funded by a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, an organization dedicated to the goal of increasing vaccination coverage globally. In his 2011 annual letter, Bill Gates wrote, “In the same way that during my Microsoft career I talked about the magic of software, I now spend my time talking about the magic of vaccines.” One goal of the Gates Foundation is to accelerate “the development and commercialization of novel vaccines and the sustainable manufacture of existing vaccines”. To that end, the organization invests “in expertise and platform technologies that help us make vaccines faster, better, and cheaper.”

Note that the adjective “safer” isn’t included there. It is also obvious that the distribution of any factual information that might lead people to the conclusion that the risks of vaccination outweigh the potential benefits would pose an obstacle standing in the way of the Gates Foundation achieving its goal of higher vaccination rates.

In addition to partnering with a “fact-checking” organization funded by the Gates Foundation, Facebook has faced governmental pressure to engage in outright censorship of any information contrary to that propagated by the CDC. In February 2019, Congressman Adam B. Schiff sent Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg a letter essentially calling on the company to help the government censor any information about vaccines that might lead parents to conclude that strictly complying with the CDC’s schedule would not be in their child’s best interests. (Schiff sent similar letters to the CEOs of Google and Amazon.)

Ostensibly, Schiff’s purpose was to combat “misinformation” about vaccines, but his criteria only applied to what he termed “anti-vaccine” information and were inclusive of any information, however factual, that might lead parents to what Schiff personally believes is a wrong conclusion. As Schiff explained, “if a concerned parent consistently sees information in their Newsfeed that casts doubt on the safety or efficacy of vaccines, it could cause them to disregard the advice of their children’s physicians and public health experts and decline to follow recommended vaccination schedule.”

That Schiff was applying this euphemistic definition of “misinformation” is further evident in the fact that Schiff himself blatantly lied in his letter that there is “no evidence to suggest that vaccines cause life-threatening or disabling diseases”—a statement that, if true, would obviate the government’s perceived need for administering the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program in order to shift the financial burden for vaccine injuries away from the pharmaceutical industry, which was done to preserve public vaccine policy by ensuring a stable supply of vaccines in the face of lawsuits that were literally putting vaccine manufacturers out of business.

    Conclusion
We are supposed to believe that “anti-vaccine” activists are spreading misinformation about vaccines around the internet, including via social media platforms like Facebook, and that we can rely upon the CDC for reliable and accurate information. The truth is that it is the government itself that is the greatest purveyor of misinformation about vaccines, and efforts presently underway to either prevent people from seeing certain information or to prejudice their view of it have nothing to do with ensuring that people are getting the information they need to be able to make an informed choice about whether to vaccinate. Instead, the government issues vaccine propaganda intended to deceive people into complying with public vaccine policy.

The corporate mainstream media, for their part, are engaged in public policy advocacy rather than doing any kind of real journalism. And now Facebook, too, rather than serving its users and the interests of public health, is acting in service to the state by actively misinforming people about what science tells us about vaccine safety. This includes propagating the falsehood that mercury and aluminum from vaccines are non-toxic and do not accumulate in bodily tissues or organs like the brain, as well as the falsehood that there is no scientific evidence that vaccines can cause brain damage.

As a consequence of the incessant pro-vaccine propaganda the public is bombarded with by the government and major media, informed consent is simply not happening—except among those parents who are doing their own research and drawing their own conclusions about whether to vaccinate their children rather than blindly following the CDC’s schedule.

It is preventing parents from considering certain factual information that is available on the internet—including at the government’s database of the published medical literature PubMed.gov—that the government, the corporate news media, and now companies like Facebook, Google, Amazon, and MailChimp, are primarily concerning themselves with. That Facebook and its “Fact-Checker” partner have no problem with misinformation being spread so long as it favors public policy is evident in the fact that they are themselves guilty of propagating falsehoods about vaccines.

Frenzy, fear and emotions will stimulate callous disregard of free speech, create a mob mentality and facilitate people disregarding their own rights and freedom. Discrimination is being encouraged by mainstream propagandists. The ultimate "20/20 is hindsight" experience, once one realizes it will not only be "someone else" affected, will be bitter.

This program is an ongoing great source for excellent discussion of constitutional crisis in the guise of "public health" and the threat to medical freedom issues.
