Default The McMinnville UFO case is hoaxed: here's the evidence

I have some bad news for the current excitement at the McMinnville festival 2019.

The McMinnville pictures are hoaxed. The evidence will be explained below.

I spent 3 days with François Louange in Sofia, Bulgaria back in 2015. Francois showed me the analysis of the McMinnville pictures. This analysis provided the evidence that could only have been processed now in the last decade using the most sophisticated software image analysis tool that was developed by Francois. Before that time the software was incapable of precision analysis, the resolution for extracting fine details was not there. He showed me unambiguously the link tethered connection of the UFO (“flying saucer”).

    McMinnville UFO Analysis :

The analysis was done by Antoine Cousyn, François Louange and Geoff Quick. The results show a model, the object rotated by one axis of the mirror's swivelling pole (the pole is still perpendicular to the electrical wires above). The report of the analysis and results are at the links below at numbers 1 and 2.

    Methodologies:

What can be done with an alleged UAP photo/video?

    1. Assess the authenticity of the document (evidence of a fake)

    2. Identify a spurious effect (no phenomenon outside the camera)

    3. Perform measurements in order to identify a known phenomenon

    4. Perform measurements in order to characterize an unidentified phenomenon

The IPACO dedicated software, derived from an established image intelligence operational tool, was developed for five years in cooperation with Airbus/DS and CNES/GEIPAN to fulfill these tasks.

This document is made up of two parts:

The initial study, back to the McMinnville pictures section plus the published report on the ipaco.fr website in April 2013, listed at number 1 below. A complementary study i.e. evidence of a suspension thread, added in June 2013, listed at number 2 below.

The 1st part shows how, using adapted interactive tools, one may prove that the explanation of a model hanging from a thread is by far the most probable one, in the absence of irrefutable proof. This study, however, did not uncover the presence of a thread in the pictures.

However, the 2nd part, written up after having integrated a specific and original detection tool into the IPACO software, uncovered the presence of a suspension thread in both pictures, which should put an end to the study of this case file.

CONCLUSION: The clear result of this study was that the McMinnville UFO was a model hanging from a thread.

BACKGROUND: François Louange and his team have developed, for the French Defense, the concept of the OPACO technique within the OCAPI software (Operational Computer-Aided Photo-Interpretation). The tool IPACO is dedicated to presenting state-of-the-art methodology for extracting objective information from digital still or video imagery.

François Louange is a consultant and collaborates mostly with CNES / GEIPAN on the analysis of UFO photos / videos. The UFO department (GEPAN) of the French Space Agency (CNES).

In addition to this analysis, other cases such as the infamous Chilean flying insects, the hoaxed Louisiana zombie and the Turkish 'UFO' videos that apparently turned out to contain reflections from yacht windows. Again, the evidence could only have been achieved now based on specially developed software tool.
