    Default ArchAngel Sariel

It has been said, the time is not just right..

Archangel Sariel is a name of the angel of death.

His reputation as the angel of death is due to the fact that he fetched the soul of Moses on Mount Sinai (* see note). But he is also described as one of the fallen angels.

The responsibility of this Angel is to punish those angels who violate The Divine’s sacred commands.

Sariel is a prince of the presence, such as Metatron. But he can also an angel of healing, such as Raphael. His choice how he manifests amongst men.

    Death or Healing -

Sariel as one of the seven archangels who rule Earth.

The Dead Sea Scrolls also contain his name - Sariel

He is linked with the skies and the celestial forms. He holds sacred knowledge about the Moon (which was regarded at one time as forbidden knowledge). He is also a great protector.

def translation other names: Suriel, Suriyel (in some Dead Sea Scrolls translations), Seriel, Sauriel, Saraqael, Sarakiel, Suruel, Surufel and Sourial.

Sariel (Aramaic: שריאל, Greek: Σαριηλ , "Prince of God" "God's Prince")

His name means “God’s Command”. His other names are also: Archangel Azrael, Archangel Suriel, Saqel and Zer-Achiel.

When he is manifesting he may appear as Sariel The Trumpeter. He who sounds the last horn - Archangel Sariel also appears in The Jewish Talmud.

Sariel one of the seven most powerful archangels. Therefore, one of these works is The Ophitic Hebdomad System. And the other one is The Kabbalah.

There are many old books that refer to the Archangel Sariel. The Bible is not among them.

(*Note - do we believe the Bible? or the writings of Enoch? - In the last book of Deuteronomy Moses was taken on Mt Nebo in Jordan. Where do we believe Mt Sinai actually is, near St Catherine ? or elsewhere..

Mount Nebo (Arabic: جبل نيبو‎ Jabal Nībū; Hebrew: הַר נְבוֹ Har Nevo) is an elevated ridge in Jordan, approximately 710 metres (2,330 ft) above sea level, mentioned in the Hebrew Bible as the place where Moses was granted a view of the Promised Land. The view from the summit provides a panorama of the Holy Land and, to the north, a more limited one of the valley of the River Jordan. The West Bank city of Jericho is usually visible from the summit, as is Jerusalem on a very clear day. Deuteronomy 34:6)

In the Islamic tradition Azrael Archangel is called the angel of death. He is literally called the angel of death in the sacred texts of the Qur’an.

They call him the Malak al-Maut (angel of death). It is described in the Qur’an how Azrael (Malak al-Maut) finds out the dying ones names. God reveals him the names when the death is near.

Archangel Azrael has no idea who will be the next one until God tells him. When he receives the name the name of the person, he starts to prepare that person.

Azrael separates the soul from the physical body. Then returns the soul to God.

In the sacred texts of Sikhism, Archangel Azrael is described also as the angel of death. But this time he is not sent for dying person. God sends him to bring the souls of unfaithful people and sinners. He hits them in the head and then separates the soul from the physical body and takes it to hell.

In the Zohar, Archangel Azrael is described as the receiver of the prayers of faithful people. He is also the commandant of legions of angels in Heaven.

    Azrael Archangel in different religions

Christians also consider Archangel Azrael the angel of death. There are no sacred texts that describe him as the angel of death, but the Christians still associated him with the harmful moment of death.

    Archangel Azrael - more..

Asian traditions also describe him as the angel of death. He holds an apple from The Tree of Life at the nose of dying person. This ritual helps him separate his soul from the physical body.

Azrael writes down his name in a huge book in the Heaven. When that person dies, Azrael will erase his name from the book.

In Islamic traditions, Archangel Azrael, or Izra’il, is described physically. They say that he is covered in eyes and tongues. The number of eyes and tongues differs depending on the number of people alive on Earth at that moment. He also veils in front God’s creations with a million veils. He is so big, that he is vaster than the Heaven. Also he holds between his hands the whole planet. Azrael has 4 faces and four wings. Azrael is one of the 4 archangels from the Koran. The other 3 being: Jibril, Michael and Israfil.

In Jewish mysticism, Azrael is considered the embodiment of the evil. Although, The Book Of Protection, mentions the celestial being to be one of the holy angels. The other two being Archangel Michael and Archangel Gabriel.

And, Archangel Azrael also appears in the Arabic tradition. Here we can find his duty. Describing Azrael as: “forever writing in a very large book. And forever erasing what he written. What he writes, represents the birth of a man. Meanwhile what he erases, is the name of a man who is at death”.

An ancient Persian lore describes an old tale about Azrael. It tells how got Azrael his duty to separate the body from the soul.

So, Archangel Michael, Archangel Gabriel and Archangel Israfel were appointed by God to provide 7 handfuls of earth at the creation of Adam. But they failed.

Only Azrael has been able to provide the earth for the body of Adam. Due to his victory in this mission, Azrael became the Angel of Death.

The one that separates the body from the soul at the moment of death.

This story is also present in the Islamic lore. But it sounds a little different. The tale says that the 4 angels (Gabriel, Michael, Azrael and Israfil, brought dust from the four corners of the world. And Allah used the dust to create Adam. But for Adam’s heart, Allah uses dust from Mecca.

    Azrael Angel .. more

Another Oriental Legend describes how succeeds Azrael the process of separating the body from the soul. The angel has an apple from the Tree of Life. And he holds the apple to the nostrils of the dying. Which results in instant separation.

Also, in Jewish Mysticism, Azrael is the “embodiment of evil”. But in other sources, he is one of the holy angels. For example, in The Book of Protection, Azrael is one of the 3 holy angels of the Syriac charms. The other two being Michael and Gabriel.

It is recommended for a dying person to learn Guardian Angel Azrael‘s name and call on him and pray for the angel’s assistance before he dies.

The ideas of healing and death going together are interesting.

I looked up Shiva, God of creation and destruction after reading the OP, and saw a lot of similarities.
In the Hindu Shiva is also called Brahman, which seems to include everything. I find it fascinating to compare
the eastern and western mythologies, and find similarities all over the place.

On being wronged - calling on Azrael for Justice - revenge, retribution, balance - weighing of the Soul (the Feather test of the heart)

Raguel (also Raguil, Rasuil, Rufael, Raquel, Rakul, Reuel, and Akrasiel) is an angel mainly of the Judaic traditions. He is considered the Angel of Justice. His name means "Friend of God".

Raguel is almost always referred to as the archangel of justice, fairness, harmony, vengeance and redemption. He is also sometimes known as the archangel of speech.

If the weight of the heart is not that of a feather, Saraiel can be called on to demand justice be carried out. (Ancient Majik - ref)

Raguel is one of the seven angels whose role is to watch. His number is 6, and his function is to take vengeance on the world of the luminaries who have transgressed God's laws.

Raguel's duties have remained the same across Jewish and Christian traditions. Much like a sheriff or constable, Raguel's purpose has always been to keep fallen angels and demons in check, delivering heinous judgment upon any that over-step their boundaries. He has been known to destroy wicked spirits, and cast fallen angels into Hell (called Gehenna in the Hebrew Old Testament and called Tartarus in the Greek New Testament).

Raguel is not mentioned in the canonical writings of the Bible. However, in 2 Enoch, which is generally considered non-canonical, the patriarch Enoch was carried as a mortal to and from Heaven by the angels Raguel and Sariel/Saraiel.

Saraqael (communicants of God) is one of the holy angels, who watch over the spirits that sin in the spirit, and Suryal is one of the angels who look upon the bloodshed on Earth, along with Gabriel, Michael, Raphael and Uriel.

In the book of 2 Enoch he (Sareil) is listed, with the name of Samuil or Saraiel, as one of the angels that brought Enoch to heaven. (Enoch also (like Ezekiel) traverst to Heaven in a wheel within a wheel chariot (UFO) )

The instance of "sin committed" against the righteous is called also the "assault of Grace". Such a sin in Christian hamartiology, eternal sins, unforgivable sins, or unpardonable sins are sins which will not be forgiven by God. Saraiel and Raguel would be called upon to "right the wrongs" committed against the righteous. The souls of those who have committed the sins against Grace will not be retrieved, not be saved and will forever be damned to eternity. (unpardonable sin - i.e. "he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit cannot be forgiven."

ref to post 7 above - the Weighing of the Heart test - measure against a Feather - "he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit cannot be forgiven." https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3960665/

The classic exposition of judgement at death comes in the Book of Coming Forth by Day, in chapter/spell 30 and in chapter/spell 125, and the so-called weighing of the heart.

For instance, to the Egyptians, the heart, or ib, rather than the brain, was the source of human wisdom and the centre of emotions and memory.

Because of its apparent links with intellect, personality and memory, it was considered the most important of the internal organs.

It could reveal the person's true character, even after death, so the belief went, and therefore the heart was left in the deceased's body during mummification.

In the weighing of the heart rite, the heart of the deceased is weighed in the scale against the feather of the goddess Maat, who personifies order, truth, and what is right.

Spell 30 was often inscribed on heart scarabs that were placed with the deceased. The spell appeals to the heart not to weigh down the balance or testify against the deceased to the keeper of the balance. Part of the spell gives instructions for making the heart scarab: ‘Make a scarab of nephrite adorned with gold and put within a man's breast, and perform for him the ceremony of opening the mouth, the scarab being anointed with myrrh.’

In Egyptian religion, the heart was the key to the afterlife. It was conceived as surviving death in the Netherworld, where it gave evidence for, or against, its possessor. It was thought that the heart was examined by Anubis and the deities during the weighing of the heart ceremony.

If the heart weighed more than the feather of Maat, it was immediately consumed by the monster Ammit.

Sareil then had a perfect RIGHT to remove the soul from the deceased (or the living hence forth to become deceased to be condemned to eternal fire) and place it so that it could no longer be re-incarnated.

    ENOCH and Ezekiel

Enoch is the other of that duo that doesn’t die in the Bible. While there is no quasi-UFO event, there is an abduction related scenario according to the Bible.

Genesis 5:24: And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. Did Sareil pardon Enoch? was Sareil told to spare Enoch because God wanted him?

Hebrews 11:5: By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

*If God took him, and God is an ET, then an alien UFO abduction rose-by-any-other-name is still an alien UFO abduction.

    EZEKIEL

Ezekiel had that famous UFO encounter recounted in Ezekiel chapter one relating those wheels within wheels and various creatures that looked sort-of like men but weren’t. Ezekiel says he had a “vision” of God, but if God is really an extraterrestrial, then Ezekiel had a vision of an extraterrestrial(s) or in modern parlance, a ‘close encounter of the third kind’. Here are the first couple of verses.

Ezekiel 1:4: And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.

Ezekiel 1:5: Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.

Ezekiel 1: 6: And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.

*Ezekiel’s close encounter is fairly self-explanatory, and it goes on from there. But what happened after that?

Ezekiel 3:12: Then the spirit took me up, and I heard behind me a voice of a great rushing, saying, Blessed be the glory of the LORD from his place.

Ezekiel 3:13: I heard also the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and the noise of the wheels over against them, and a noise of a great rushing.

Ezekiel 3:14: So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the LORD was strong upon me.

Ezekiel 3:15: Then I came to them of the captivity at Telabib, that dwelt by the river of Chebar, and I sat where they sat, and remained there astonished among them seven days.

*All of that sounds a bit like an unwilling UFO abduction to me!

And this leaves us with a question - do we have free will when we depart? Are we captured? Is there someone there doing the capturing? It is interesting how folks over the eons have described the ending process of life and what may happen afterwards - is there family there to guide us? Is there an all powerful ArchAngel there to oversee the process? Many questions..

In understanding the possibilities of there being characters, deities, angels, devils, etc. there at the time of death, ready to do what they will with the soul, I see it all as understanding the power of myth and entrainment by religion, as well as the modern religions of media and entertainment.

In Buddhist theology the creation of a reality is called a tulpa. I see this time in the bardo after death as being directed by the power of the mythos these theologies have imprinted upon the soul. Another trap. Another door that should have been opened during the conscious times within the body.

In sikhism this allegory is referred to as Dharm Rai.

    From Post # 4:

"In the sacred texts of Sikhism, Archangel Azrael is described also as the angel of death. But this time he is not sent for dying person. God sends him to bring the souls of unfaithful people and sinners. He hits them in the head and then separates the soul from the physical body and takes it to hell."

Yes, this is a common misunderstanding about sikhism, which is neither Hindu, nor Islamic based. It's essence, it's founding and foundation is finding the common thread between all faiths and delineating some insight about the journeys of a soul in these bodies and after the souls departs.

The essential text of the Sikh Guide is reflecting back upon the reader, sikh or other-as it is not meant to be secular or dogmatic.* There is also a fair amount of criticism about both of those paths in the written Guide, as both faiths have been heavily politicized and distorted throughout their histories. So much beauty lost, found by but a few within each path, even amongst sikhs themselves.

Though Hinduism shares some allegory with Sikhism, (by sikhs, sufi's and hindu seers, all contributors to the sikh written guide, the Siri Guru Granth), using the common mythologies present to share insight into cause and effect, there is no connection with Hinduism in this regard. That reference is Islamic.

The essential Sikh reality is personal responsibility and not the external, deity-based marketing ploys seen within Hinduism and Abrahamic religious theology/mythology. In some places within all of those paths there is truth, but the truth rarely survives dogma.

This also pertains to the times we go thru when, during and after departing the body. All a good discussion. I look forward to more.

    Thanks.

*I find it odd that I apologize to so many that this insightful and personal Guide, though mainly written by sikhs, is cared for by the sikhs themselves, many who have portrayed it as a secular and dogmatic treatise, with so few of them living it, even with that great gift so accessible. Yet, that is the worldly reality.

I quoted your earlier post, but I found both of your above posts helpful in grasping the ideas Bob has laid out in this thread about the topic of death. You used the term bardo, and I understand that to mean a pause, the quality and depth of which
depends on (in my understanding) the quality and depth of ones work with their thoughts and beliefs before that last moment of life, and the last thought or lack thereof before the pause. We can experience pauses in this life, where we can see past our beliefs and habits, which can lead to a future freer of suffering than the time before that pause. In my mind any visitors or guides perceived during that pause are projections of our habitual thoughts. What is beyond a physical human's life I think contains principles that are seen as deities, demons, etc, perhaps even the various types of ET's people have encountered, and if these are embraced in their purer forms, we can rise to them and perhaps beyond. That final thought I think carries a momentum that determines what sort of realm we dwell in next and for how long.

I find your phrase, deity-based marketing ploys to be quite apt, and I think it can be applied to healing all sorts of human beliefs, and habits.

This whole lifetime is a death worth living.

It is the same as a moment, this whole lifetime is, as each moment is all there is.....alone..... once it is experienced beyond the body.

It is interesting considering the attachments encountered while going thru the process.

I have experienced the earthly sounds, bodies and impressions of loved ones past during those few days after the breath has left, the heart has stopped and the electrical, magnetic connections leave. They are unmistakable and intense, but always an expression of our deep connections, our love.

Those times I have felt trauma from violent deaths, completely out of/within the blue, of those passed reminds me of how intense the attachments to living in a body can be. Because I have watched those souls move on, I am reminded that my intention in creating an avenue of light, a very strong projection of another reality to them, something anyone can do, is the reason I get the message.

I saw a movie today, extremely violent, some very good stunt playing, a lot of colorful nonsense. It reminded me of this entire subject.

In this movie, John Wick 3, they used the word "fealty", and not loyalty or oath, when describing the abrogation of our humanity to an outer source, something quite common on the face of it, but also very accurate when describing centuries of slavery to ideals and ideas that lead to man's inhumanity to man.

"Fealty" is the word used to describe the oath of loyalty a peasant is forced to take in servitude and slavery to it's feudal master. I hadn't heard or read the word in years and it seems, on the face of it, to have no connection to these times.

However, the word fits into so many of the contexts present in the way the average person lives their lives. In the end it is an influence upon the perception of the soul in it's own judgements upon itself, while transitioning beyond the confines of the body.

The presentation of this word is meant by the writer to be a joke, an imitation of the adherence to the modern interpretation of the samurai ethic of blind obedience. It also is an in-your-face commentary on the basic pavlovian influences present in modern day living and, maybe more importantly, dying.

Understanding the human power to imagine, in it's own and always singularly unique way, it's own reality................................

    Very interesting indeed.

I in my younger years I learned a lot about breath/life and just how to go without breath, pushing the boundary/path as far as you can, hopefully reaching your goal when the time comes.

It is a forbidden/secrete Tibetan Buddhist/Toast breathing exercises that they practice.
When their times comes they hope to reach the focus point, not have to fall off to the side and so, not get randomly reborn with less knowledge each time.

If they can't go the full distance they aim for a point/rebirth as far down the path as possible (the visuals are amazing and simple at same time, geometry).

You are also supposed to do at least 10 years of deep breathing exercises/conditioning, lots of AIR ion the blood system.

I sat at the start point of the path a few times (after going through a kaleidoscope of visuals and pulsating caverns each time (very much like the famous 2001 scene))

You end up at the start point which stretches out in perfect balanced geometry (the tunnel in it's focused form and not it's blinding white light form).

I only mention this as you have reminded me of my experiences, which anyone can attain to one degree or another.

It has given me the state of no fear and the knowledge that you can push and not just give in to the first event, any event.

Hope this somehow relates to your great OP and it's content's

PS: I'm not recommending anyone to try this (that's why I've given no details) without giving in to it's possible shortening of life and or loss of brain function, much guidance and practice should be taken first)

Having said that though it has been the most mind opening experience of my "life"
I'm a simple easy going guy that is very upset/sad with the worlds hidden controllers!
We need LEADERS who bat from the HEART!
Rise up above them Dark evil doers, not within anger but with LOVE
