Years ago, in my first lucid dream I left the house thinking this is a very neat experience. I wondered if I could drive the car. I managed to get inside the car and reached for the emergency brake. My hand passed through the handle.

You cannot drive the car alone, but you can meet someone driving wich is disposal to incorporate you, if you know how to do and process this. There are ones who called this " likeable assimilation ", thats analog to a temporary medium possession, where the medium share some control of his fisic body to other being.
