Barclays chief executive Jes Staley is probed over links to Prince Andrew's former friend Jeffrey Epstein including a visit to the sex offender's private 'paedophile island' as his pay soars to £5.9m a year

Barclays' American chief executive Jes Staley is being investigated in Britain over his close relationship with Jeffrey Epstein who he visited in Florida when he was serving a jail term for soliciting a minor for prostitution.

Boston-born Mr Staley also admits taking a sailing trip with his wife Debbie to the paedophile's Caribbean hideaway dubbed 'paedo island' in the months before he joined the Canary Wharf-based bank - but insists he cut all contact with him after that.

Prince Andrew's child abuser friend Epstein also allegedly funneled dozens of wealthy clients to Mr Staley during his time running JP Morgan's private bank, where customers must have assets of at least $10million.

Barclays today told the London Stock Exchange that their CEO has been 'transparent' about the pair's 'close' but 'professional' relationship.

But Britain's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Prudential Conduct Authority are investigating whether he has disclosed the full truth about his ties to the convicted sex offender after reports by Bloomberg and the New York Times last year claimed they were 'good friends'.

Bankers who fail the FCA's 'fit and proper' test can be fined - or in the most serious cases banned from Britain's £1trillion ($1.3trillion) financial service industry, which would make it impossible for Mr Staley to continue in Barclays' top job.

The investigation announcement in London came on the morning the bank revealed its pre-tax profits for the past year jumped 25 per cent to £4.4 billion - and as a result Mr Staley has been rewarded with a bumper pay packet of £5.93million ($7.7million) in 2019 - up from £3.86 million-a-year ($5million) 12 months earlier. ...

Ghislaine Maxwell told a former acquaintance that she and Jeffrey Epstein had “everything on videotape,” it has been claimed.

Christina Oxenberg, a socialite and distant relative of the royals, said Ms Maxwell also once told her that Epstein had purchased his own helicopter because commercial pilots were “eyes and ears” they did not need.

She revealed she had spoken to the FBI about what she had been told.

Ms Oxenberg, 57, first met Maxwell in the early 1990s and said she would never forget a conversation the pair once had in Maxwell’s home.

“We were alone,” she said. “She said many things. All creepy. Unorthdox. Strange. I could not believe whatever she was saying was real. Stuff like: 'Jeffrey and I have everyone n videotape.' "

The Media’s Deafening Silence on Mike Bloomberg’s Ties to Epstein and Other Criminals

Billionaire “Democratic” candidate Mike Bloomberg has ties to Leslie Wexner, Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffery Epstein among other notables like the recently convicted Harvey Weinstein.

After his late jump into the Democratic primary and, as critics argue, purchasing his way into the primary debates, former Mayor of New York City Michael Bloomberg has received mixed coverage from corporate media, with many negative critiques of the current presidential contender’s history, conduct and connections.

Yet, despite efforts by other campaigns and more progressive-leaning media outlets to dampen Bloomberg’s chances at the nomination, one clear weakness of Bloomberg’s has thus far evaded meaningful media coverage: his ties to key players in the Epstein scandal, including Leslie Wexner, Ghislaine Maxwell and even Jeffrey Epstein himself.

Silence among outlets that largely oppose Bloomberg’s candidacy regarding his connections to Epstein and those in his close social orbit is odd, especially when reporting on an individual’s connections to the intelligence-linked pedophile are a sure-fire way to generate considerable negative attention and fodder for rival campaigns.

This is particularly striking given that the numerous accusations that Bloomberg has long stoked a toxic culture of sexual harassment at his company, resulting in no small number of non-disclosure agreements over the years, have received some media attention. Yet, the fact that many of Bloomberg’s close friends have been accused of far, far worse has received hardly any coverage by comparison.

For instance, when it was announced last week that the controlling stake in the Leslie Wexner-owned lingerie company Victoria’s Secret would be sold to a private equity firm called Sycamore Partners, only one media outlet — The Intercept — revealed that Bloomberg has at least $136 million of his money in that firm. The Intercept noted in passing that Wexner — the source of most of Jeffrey Epstein’s supposed fortune, his close collaborator for decades and alleged rapist of many of his victims — had been pressured to step down following the scandal, which also hit Wexner-owned companies hard and had forced the Ohio-based billionaire to seek a buyer for his lingerie brand and its tarnished reputation. Yet, the outlet did not make the direct connection that Sycamore Partners-backer Bloomberg is a friend of Wexner’s and has attended Wexner’s personal social parties for years prior to the most recent scandal.

Yet, even well before this recent opportunity to point out Bloomberg’s ties to Leslie Wexner, there have been plenty of opportunities for the media to question Bloomberg about his now-infamous picture with Ghislaine Maxwell, daughter of Mossad-connected Robert Maxwell and Epstein’s alleged madam and co-conspirator.



That picture, taken in 2013 at the Four Seasons restaurant in New York, has not been mentioned by mainstream media following the launch of Bloomberg’s candidacy late last November. Similarly, mainstream media have failed to question Bloomberg regarding why his name and five different telephone numbers for him appear in Jeffrey Epstein’s infamous list of contacts often referred to as his “little black book.”

Bloomberg and the Manhattan Swamp
The extent of the Maxwell-Bloomberg relationship is unknown, though Bloomberg’s deep ties to his former employer Salomon Brothers is a possible link, given that that firm served as one of the Maxwell family’s main investment bankers in the years prior to and following Robert Maxwell’s mysterious death in 1991. Similarly, Epstein had close ties to prominent figures on Wall Street, some dating back to his time at Bear Stearns, who are also close to Bloomberg.

Bloomberg and Epstein also shared close friendships with some of the same New York media executives like Mort Zuckerman. Media outlets have described Zuckerman, a former business partner of Epstein’s, as Bloomberg’s “long-time enabler.” In another example, Epstein’s former publicist Howard Rubenstein is a long-time supporter of Bloomberg and was reported to be the driving force behind Bloomberg’s controversial push to run around mayoral term limits and pursue a third term as Mayor of New York.

Another mutual Epstein-Bloomberg associate is disgraced media mogul Harvey Weinstein. Weinstein was part of an investment group with Epstein that sought to purchase New York magazine in 2003. Another member of that investment group was frequent MSNBC commentator Donny Deutsch, who has recently fervently backed Bloomberg’s candidacy.

Weinstein was recently convicted of rape and has dozens of accusers, whose decision to come forward about Weinstein’s sex crimes in recent years helped spark the “Me Too” movement. Weinstein also has ties to former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, who was a close friend and business associate of Epstein’s, and it was Barak who personally introduced Weinstein to former Mossad spies that Weinstein hired to intimidate his accusers. In addition to being Prime Minister, Barak is also the former head of Israeli military intelligence, the foreign intelligence agency that sponsored Epstein’s sexual blackmail operation involving underage girls in the United States.

Bloomberg’s candidacy has yet to be strongly challenged over his ties to Weinstein, which are considerable. For instance, Weinstein was a major backer of Bloomberg’s mayoral campaigns and even recorded robocalls on Bloomberg’s behalf to boost his election chances. Bloomberg, in turn, appointed Weinstein to a charity board and Weinstein later praised Bloomberg for aiding his film company. While Bloomberg’s ties to Wexner, Epstein and Maxwell have gotten the silent treatment, some outlets (mostly right-leaning) have covered the Bloomberg-Weinstein ties, but there has been little pressure on Bloomberg from mainstream media to address those ties directly.

Another close Bloomberg associate who recently has been accused by numerous women of sexual harassment is hedge fund manager Michael Steinhardt. Steinhardt is a long-time fixture in Bloomberg’s social circle and has long appeared at Bloomberg’s dinner parties.

Steinhardt is also connected to Leslie Wexner through his membership in the so-called “Mega Group” — an exclusive group of organized-crime-linked “mega” donors to pro-Israel causes that Wexner co-founded in 1991. Steinhardt also boasts close ties to the now deceased founder of Glencore, the Mossad-linked Marc Rich, and Steinhardt — along with top Israeli politicians and spies — aggressively lobbied former President Bill Clinton to controversially pardon Rich before leaving office.

“Show me your friends and I’ll tell you who you are”
The oft-quoted saying “Show me your friends and I’ll tell you who you are,” seems to hold true for Bloomberg. For instance, his eponymous media conglomerate has received no small number of lawsuits over the years alleging rampant sexual harassment and even the rape of female workers, much of its allegedly egged on by Bloomberg’s long history of comments that have been derided as sexist. Many of those lawsuits ended in female accusers being asked to sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs). More recently, The Nation reported that Bloomberg’s 2020 presidential campaign is making use of NDAs in such a way “that could prevent staffers from reporting workplace abuse.”

In addition, a 1999 profile of Bloomberg in Wired magazine quoted Bloomberg as saying “My daughter is tall and busty and blonde. We went to China together. And what’s a 16-year-old going to do on a business trip? So, I got her dates in every city in China.”

Bloomberg, not unlike Epstein and Wexner, also has a history of cozy ties to the CIA. For instance, during his tenure as Mayor of New York, Bloomberg actively promoted a controversial post-9/11 program that saw the CIA work directly with the NYPD to spy on the city’s Muslim communities. Even though the CIA is technically prohibited from spying on Americans not linked to criminal activity, one of the CIA officers working as part of the Bloomberg-backed program said he had “no limitations” on what he could do. Bloomberg has long defended this program and its merging of the CIA with local police.

In the case of Epstein and Wexner, as MintPress News reported in its viral series on the Epstein scandal last year, Epstein once claimed to have worked for the CIA during the 1980s and Epstein and Wexner were the key players behind the relocation of CIA front company Southern Air Transport to Ohio, where Wexner’s business interests have long been based.

In addition, Bloomberg was also a key player in a controversial initiative regarding Israel’s intelligence-linked technology sector. For instance, Bloomberg created a $2 billion project that involved opening a Manhattan campus called “Cornell Tech” that brought together Cornell University and Israel’s Technion, which has close ties to Israel’s national security state and military-industrial complex. Bloomberg personally gave over $100 million to facilitate completion of that project. That campus is now a partner in the recent creation of two Israeli-run “cybersecurity” centers in New York City that are tied to Israeli intelligence and were recently reported on by MintPress.

Jeffrey Epstein was also involved with Israeli military intelligence-linked technology companies and, as previously mentioned, Israeli military intelligence was also the sponsor of Epstein’s sexual blackmail operation that targeted mostly U.S. politicians and public figures for the benefit of the state of Israel, whose military currently receives $3.8 billion per year from U.S. taxpayers.

While these aspects of Bloomberg’s past have received considerable media attention as of late, these same outlets have failed to note that Bloomberg’s inner circle boasts many individuals accused of harassment, rape or worse. With his clear ties to the “Epstein network,” the fact that mainstream media has declined to even question Bloomberg about his social appearances with Ghislaine Maxwell or Leslie Wexner and having five different telephone numbers of his in Epstein’s list of high-profile contacts is a damning indictment of the current landscape of both American media and American politics.

Epstein-esque Fashion Mogul’s Office Raided By Feds After Sex Trafficking Allegation

Last month, the FBI and NYPD raided the offices of fashion mogul Peter Nygard in Manhattan, taking away several boxes in what was widely speculated to be part of an investigation into accusations of sex trafficking by the multi-millionaire.

Nygard, who is being compared by many to Jeffrey Epstein, is being accused of a “decades-long sex-trafficking scheme” by 10 unnamed women in a federal lawsuit. The allegations are stomach-churning, including rape, sodomy, and perverted fetishes.

Like Epstein, Nygard apparently was known for throwing lavish parties on his Bahamian island mansion estate, where he would “pamper” women with alcohol and drugs. At least four of the women allege that they were sexually assaulted by Nygard when they were 14 or 15.

Also like Epstein, he has continued to face sexual misconduct charges and allegations of pedophilia for decades, but has never been prosecuted.

Nygard, whose worth is estimated at around $800 million, also boasts a list of famous friends, including George H. W. Bush, Oprah Winfrey, Robert DeNiro, and famous Epstein associate, Prince Andrew, who once stayed on his estate.

The federal lawsuit claims that Nygard used several of his corporate entities for various services related to perpetrating the abuse, such as international air travel, and also alleges bribery of Bahamian police and government to cover up what he was doing.

Nygard and his spokesman have stated that he intends to cooperate, and attempted to lay the blame for the lawsuit on Louis Bacon, a billionaire hedge fund manager who is Nygard’s Bahamian neighbor and with whom he has had a long-standing and bitter personal conflict.

Shortly before the Manhattan raid, Nygard stepped down from his position at the company that bears his name. Recently, the Nygard Group of Companies has announced an intention to begin financial restructuring to avoid bankruptcy, as it faces the potential loss of top customers and lenders.

A Nygard spokesman also claimed that his offices in LA were similarly raided, but this was not confirmed by the feds. For now it remains to be seen whether guilt will be determined and another millionaire will face justice.

A couple of decades ago there was a power struggle at the top of this banking family. The one who emerged on top would run the empire. The problem for many was the person chosen. He wasn't playing the "game." He didn't care about running the banking world or grooming people to run countries and companies who were beholden to the family. The only thing he appears to have done is provide the girl and he was chosen because of his connection to the family through a family member.

The girl that was chosen was 10. She could easily pass for 16 or 17 with the right makeup. She was the perfect lure and continued to be a lure until the present day. The man they wanted dead had certain habits and he also had numerous affairs. They put the lure in a position where she would be seen by the target and knew he would interact with her. They knew his type. The family knew everything. With the help of the people who ran the house, the target had no chance. Things took their course and the target took the girl to his apartment in the city and had sex with her. Afterwards, with the makeup gone he finally got around to asking how old she was. When she replied 10, and that she really needed to get home to her parents or they would be worried, the expected reaction took place. Later that night, he hung himself.

Virginia Giuffre, an American advocate of justice for sex trafficking victims who accused Prince Andrew of abusing her as part of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, is in hospital and being tested for coronavirus. Giuffre tweeted to share her experiences of being afraid and having a fever as well as breathing difficulties.



Giuffre, 35, alleges she had sex with Andrew on three occasions between 2001 and 2002. She claimed in a Panorama interview that she was instructed to have sex with Andrew after he bought her a drink and asked her to dance at Tramp nightclub in London in 2001. He has denied the allegations.

Prince Andrew has upset the Queen and ex-wife Fergie with his lad-about-the-globe activities but he's enjoying his social life with new best friend Ghislaine Maxwell.

IT HAS become almost a weekly occurrence that Prince Andrew is shown by a tabloid newspaper inviting a West Coast "actress", into his bedroom to tuck him in at 2am, lounging on a yacht surrounded by topless women, or slipping out of nightclubs with various companions.

Previously mostly known for his modest naval career and love of golf, in the past 18 months the Prince has embarked on a new lifestyle redolent of a middle-aged swinger rediscovering his youth in the playgrounds of the Eurotrash.

His erratic behaviour has greatly upset Buckingham Palace and his ex-wife Fergie.
No saint herself in the past, Fergie has been complaining he is so busy clubbing he doesn't even have time to babysit Princesses Beatrice, 12, and Eugenie, 10.

It is said they shared their concern when the Queen visited Fergie at Wood Farm, Sandringham, over Christmas.

The truth of the matter is that he is spending more time with Ghislaine Maxwell - daughter of crooked financier Robert Maxwell, who disappeared from his yacht before his creditors caught up with him in 1991 - than his own daughters.

In the past year Andrew has been on eight different breaks with Ghislaine in Britain, America, and Thailand.


These include:
*February 2000: holiday at Mar El Largo Club in Palm Beach with Ghislaine, followed by a trip to New York to attend a fashion show with her.

*March: fundraising dinner for London Symphony Orchestra in New York, attended by Ghislaine.

*April: holiday to New York where he socialised with Ghislaine.

*May: official trip to New York then holiday in Florida with Ghislaine.

*June: weekend at Windsor Castle for Queen's party which Ghislaine attended.

*October: official visit to New York and evening partying with Ghislaine.

*December: weekend house party at Sandringham arranged "in honour" of Ghislaine's 39th birthday.

*January: a beach holiday in Thailand with Ghislaine.

In addition, Ghislaine travelled to Britain in September to attend the wedding of Andrew's old flame, Aurelia Cecil.
They went together.

So what is Andrew's fascination with the disgraced tycoon's daughter, who now lives in exile in New York?

Clearly he revels in the jetset lifestyle she has opened up to him and is determined to break free of the constraints his royal duties have imposed.

Ghislaine has introduced him to her onetime partner Jeffrey Epstein, 48, an immensely powerful New York property developer and financier.

Epstein has joined Andrew and Ghislaine on five of their breaks together in the past 12 months - to Mar A Largo, Phuket, Sandringham, Florida and Windsor - and has also welcomed Andrew to stay at his £30 million New York townhouse at least twice last year.

His influence over Prince Andrew is also causing concern among Andrew's friends and the Royal family.

Ghislaine is now employed by Epstein as a "consultant" at his elegant Madison Avenue offices.

She stays at his house several nights a week and organises his parties in New York.

She also acts as his interior designer and has sold property on his behalf.

Ghislaine, it is said by friends, remains desperate to marry Epstein. He refuses, but enjoys the social stature that she can bring him.

One friend said: "You could say she was pretty much entirely dependent on him. She loves him. He sometimes treats her well, sometimes offhandedly. You could say she sees something of her father in him."

Epstein's intensely secretive business life contrasts with his enthusiastic social life. He is rarely seen without a beautiful companion on his arm, or Ghis-laine far away.
One friend said: "He enjoys the company of pretty women.

Ghislaine is important to him in other ways.

She arranges his social life."

Ghislaine is also now organising Andrew's social life in much the same way, introducing him to attractive women and encouraging his relationships with, among others, lingerie model Heidi Klum and PR girl Emma Gibbs. Indeed
Ghis-laine, Epstein and Andrew now appear to have evolved a curious symbiotic relationship wherever Ghislaine is seen with Andrew, Epstein is never far behind.

Epstein was a guest at the Queen's birthday party at Windsor and travelled with Ghislaine to Andrew's country weekend at Sandringham before Christmas.

He has made many millions out of his business links with the likes of Bill Gates, Donald Trump and Ohio billionaire Leslie Wexner, whose trust he runs.

Prince Andrew's friends can only speculate what Epstein gains from his association with British royals but clearly it can do no harm to his business reputation in New York.

A friend of the couple said: "She is able to entrance anyone she chooses and Epstein can pay for anything anyone wants. She is very manipulative, and winds people round her little finger.

The whole Andrew thing is probably being done for Epstein.
Epstein will not marry her and it is incredibly likely she's doing it to keep in with him."

Friends say the Duchess of York is aghast at the influence Ghislaine exerts over Andrew and the changes that have come over him in the past year, while Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, who met Ghislaine last year, are apparently confused about seeing their father in embarrassing situations in the newspapers.

Another friend said: "Ghisla-ine is manipulating him and he's too naive to realise it. She's his social fixer and he's going along with it - why?

Because I think Epstein's fantastically impressed by it all. It's all very premeditated.

"Andrew's a very poor judge of character, easily impressed.

He's gone from this couch potato to man about town, with nothing better to do than go from one holiday to the next.

"He's insensitive about how the Palace or his family feel and Ghislaine absolutely indulges him in whatever he wants to do next.

"When the Duchess is working in America he stays up at Buckingham Palace in the week so he can go out to clubs.

He doesn't even come back to look after the children while their mother is away.

"He's spiraling out of control.

He's even started dressing like a 25-year-old in jeans and blazer.

He used to be smart when he came back from abroad, now he hardly even wears a tie. He's started having a girl massage him and manicure his toes. He even travels abroad with his own massage mattress. Please!"

Andrew leaves the Navy in July and is unsure of his future role, talking vaguely of acting as a roving ambassador for British businesses.

So far this year the orbit into which Ghislaine and Epstein have drawn Andrew has brought little but lurid headlines.

In February, while they were at Mar A Largo, Andrew met sex aid entrepreneur Christine Drangsholt, who immediately began promoting her business with pictures of herself and the Prince, implying along the way they had become intimate friends.

Then in May, while on holiday in Florida with Epstein and Ghislaine, he began frequenting nightclub the Crowbar, buying £300 bottles of Cristal champagne for his friends.

In October, back in London, he was pictured sweating profusely outside the West End nightspot China White.

Over Hallowe'en, back in New York with Ghislaine, he made the acquaintance of Heidi Klum and again was observed behaving strangely as he wandered around a "hookers and pimps" nightclub party.

A few days later he was in Los Angeles with an "acquaintance", self-confessed drug dealer Brett Liv-ingstone Strong, flirting at the bar of the Bel Air hotel with a group of young girls.

One of them, bit-part actress Denise Martell, later sold her story, telling how they kissed and cuddled and she tucked him up in bed one evening when they continued their acquaintance over the next few nights.

Earlier this month, Andrew was pictured sunbathing with an array of topless women on a yacht off the coast of Phuket In Thailand. Further reports claimed he had wandered around the sex bars in the area's red light district.

This behaviour may well amuse his new friends in New York but they are not the actions of a discreet member of the royal family, friends say.

In fact, one adds, they are the actions of someone who: "Doesn't give a damn about what anyone else thinks anymore, just what pleases him.

He is not listening to reason."

GHISLAINE MAXWELL
GHISLAINE Maxwell's international and very public lifestyle inevitably prompts questions about her late father's legacies.

One detective, who interviewed her in Manhattan when the police were seeking to trace his assets, can even now recall: "She came in dressed in sackcloth and ashes. It was pathetic. She said she had no money. Yet here was this expensive lawyer arguing with us in a room so air conditioned we couldn't hear what he said.

"In between claiming she had no money, you couldn't but help warming to her, she was so solicitous. We hadn't had any lunch and she was recommending restaurants here and there and where to stay and go shopping, and slipping in from time to time how she never had anything to do with her father's affairs."

Detectives were less convinced of her poverty. One SFO investigator said: "It is entirely possible, and we didn't have the resources to check, that Maxwell could have siphoned off money from some of his 400 companies in America to her. She was living on something."

Even to this day investigators have little clue how much of her father's fortune is buried in the offshore trusts he used so freely for the benefit of his family.
Ghislaine is understood to benefit from a trust, set up for her from funds sent from Liechtenstein by Maxwell, paying her some £80,000 a year.

But sources in New York say her lavish lifestyle - which includes Concorde trips, a Florida-registered Jeep and the run of Epstein's 21,000-sq-ft New York home - is largely funded by the financier.

DRESSED more suitably for a shopping trip on 5th Avenue than an English pheasant drive in his LL Bean hunting boots and $ 1000 leather parka, Jeffrey E Epstein cut a curious figure alongside Ghislaine and Andrew at the Sandringham shooting party.

More at home in the world of international finance than the English countryside, the immensely wealthy financier and property developer maintains a mysterious presence in New York. He has a licence to carry a concealed weapon, once claimed to have worked for the CIA although he now denies it - and owns properties all over
America.

Once he arrived at the London home of a British arms dealer bringing a gift - a New York police-issue pump-action riot gun. "God knows how he got it into the country," a friend said.

He is also a close associate of multi billionaire Leslie Wexner, owner (among other companies) of Victoria's Secret.

Epstein has the use of Wexner's $ 40 million New York house and owns seven cars including a V8 Corvette and 1964 Volkswagen. He also owns a $ 3.5 million pink villa in Palm Beach and a $ 3 million, 26,700-sq-ft fortress-like hilltop mansion in New Mexico, fitted with $ 600 bedsheets. One local said: "They think he's flown in from Mars down here."

Epstein began working for Wexner in 1985 and by the late Eighties had become wealthy, through, among other things, handling his worldwide airfreight concerns and his fabulous art collection, which includes a $ 45 million Picasso.

One journalist said: "He's Wexner's Mr fix-it. He has the spook connections and pulls the strings worldwide. He handles all the logistics and moves the portfolio around for him." Mr Epstein is linked to several controversial land deals in rural America, where farming land has been quietly acquired by interlinked companies then developed at vast profit.

He is currently listed as owning huge tracts of land in Dutchess County, New York. He declined to be interviewed
by the Evening Standard.

Epstein-esque Fashion Mogul’s Office Raided By Feds After Sex Trafficking Allegation

Last month, the FBI and NYPD raided the offices of fashion mogul Peter Nygard in Manhattan, taking away several boxes in what was widely speculated to be part of an investigation into accusations of sex trafficking by the multi-millionaire.

Nygard, who is being compared by many to Jeffrey Epstein, is being accused of a “decades-long sex-trafficking scheme” by 10 unnamed women in a federal lawsuit. The allegations are stomach-churning, including rape, sodomy, and perverted fetishes.

Like Epstein, Nygard apparently was known for throwing lavish parties on his Bahamian island mansion estate, where he would “pamper” women with alcohol and drugs. At least four of the women allege that they were sexually assaulted by Nygard when they were 14 or 15.

Also like Epstein, he has continued to face sexual misconduct charges and allegations of pedophilia for decades, but has never been prosecuted.

Nygard, whose worth is estimated at around $800 million, also boasts a list of famous friends, including George H. W. Bush, Oprah Winfrey, Robert DeNiro, and famous Epstein associate, Prince Andrew, who once stayed on his estate.

The federal lawsuit claims that Nygard used several of his corporate entities for various services related to perpetrating the abuse, such as international air travel, and also alleges bribery of Bahamian police and government to cover up what he was doing.

Nygard and his spokesman have stated that he intends to cooperate, and attempted to lay the blame for the lawsuit on Louis Bacon, a billionaire hedge fund manager who is Nygard’s Bahamian neighbor and with whom he has had a long-standing and bitter personal conflict.

Shortly before the Manhattan raid, Nygard stepped down from his position at the company that bears his name. Recently, the Nygard Group of Companies has announced an intention to begin financial restructuring to avoid bankruptcy, as it faces the potential loss of top customers and lenders.

A Nygard spokesman also claimed that his offices in LA were similarly raided, but this was not confirmed by the feds. For now it remains to be seen whether guilt will be determined and another millionaire will face justice.
