Default The Information War is Over and We Have Lost

This is a recent video from James Corbett about the increasing censorship of major sites on the internet. The internet is changing substantially, right now.

Avalon member Caliban introduced me to "Bitchute." It's similar to YouTube and has a lot of topics I don't think have been bought about my Google and any other major God corporations yet.

Course you could already know about this and i'm the oldie just finding out. Either way, yay bitchute!

    There's also 153news.net https://153news.net/ and Brighteon https://www.brighteon.com/

You'll find stuff there that would no longer last long on Youtube.

On one hand I'd like to shout about these sites -- on the other, the more known they become the more likely of a concerted attack. I also think if something is "not on Youtube, it's not legit" might be the attitude of many we'd like to un-blind.

Today the BBC conceded that mainstream live t.v is all but over.news programmes are only watched by pre tech older generation.
The younger generation will and have changed there viewing habits, and where they get there information, there is hope

That's exactly why major sites are censored. If you're looking for any topic on YouTube, Google, Facebook, Twitter, etc. — especially if it's a controversial topic — you will find very different results than what you would have found in the past.

Especially during the beginning of my investigations of independent news, I found a lot of interesting hints and leads on these websites. If I had begun my journey only now, I would have a very different experience.

I don't quite buy that "We Have Lost". But yes, I get his point: that the younger generation, eager for the truth about their world, may now have to work quite a lot harder to dig to find it.

    But it'll always be there.

Like many reading this, I grew up in a household where my parents watched the TV news every night at 6 pm, and we all sat down to soak it all in: part of our routine family ritual.

And yet I still found my way — very early — to all the alternative information available at the time. I devoured Gary Allen's read-it-in-an-hour, pass-it-on booklet None Dare Call It Conspiracy back in 1972, a year after it was published. Someone handed it to me when I was hitch-hiking in Canada. That's kind of how it works.

Truth-seekers — those who have this deeply embedded in their immortal spiritual essence — will always find what they need to. I'm certain.

    The real questions may be:
    • How many truth-seekers are there?
    • How can they then make a difference, now armed with the information they sought?

This oasis is soooooooooo invaluable Bill, i just wish i shared your optimism as i rather see things more in Corbett's light. I see our experience with the internet same as i see the old US wild wild west, just a brief window in time. The bait would be the wild wild west of internet expanded mind, the switch would be gradual venus fly trap type shut down of info flow and exchange once we are all entrained and addicted to any and every info at our finger tips.

The only outs i truly think would be expanded consciousness which i dont see happening on any scale, or kids learning to hack and bypass the system in neo like fashion. Bypass youtube, bypass google, that sort of thing, cos where we're a headed now is a dead end path imo.

The internet has its limits and we may have reached it.

I cannot stress enough how different it was just a few decades ago, however. Information was severely difficult to find. The notion of a global conspiracy has always been an idea I understood was very real but the proof was more circumstantial than comprehensive. There were many little bits from a wide range of topics that when put together made a pretty good case - but there was no smoking gun, no body.

Then the internet came around and the information exploded. The picture filled in as the facts fell into place. The proof is incontrovertible now.

Yet for all of that, there are always those who weigh the facts in different combinations and come up with entirely different conclusions. So in terms of getting any closer to a widespread consensus we are instead being dragged into identity politics and politically correct speech which has splintered us into many factions.

The war is not over. We are still choosing sides, posturing for a better position perhaps, I don't know. But the war cannot start until battle lines are drawn.

In that regard, the war is yet to begin.

I cannot say who will win. We are the ones who make it happen - we made this travesty of a world by our acquiescence, by not standing up. And we can loose this war in the same manner.

By allowing ourselves to decide based on fear we will again miss our opportunity. For we must be united to stand a chance.

And we must learn to give love a chance - like back in the sixties...it's the only way forward.

We have enough info, we must now all agree. Not on everything of course, but on the basic salient facts of this world.

    The rest would unfold naturally.

Free will can only be as free as the mind that conceives it.

The internet has its limits and we may have reached it.

    (Ernie, italics above and below)

It also has an inherent limit -- it's in our minds, or the cloud, or whatever. What it's not is Face-to-Face. Either we get together, as the Occupy crowd did--which by the way was not left or right or gender this or that--or nothing's really going to happen. Something has to break the ice where we start gathering together again. We need a carnival atmosphere, parties, potlatches, something like that. Get off the machines and listen and look at each other. Maybe something like that could catch fire. Where we start to forget these people and structures even exist.

Yet for all of that, there are always those who weigh the facts in different combinations and come up with entirely different conclusions. So in terms of getting any closer to a widespread consensus we are instead being dragged into identity politics and politically correct speech which has splintered us into many factions.

Yeah, and how many times can we try to show them the truth? Some people will never look at it, though now it's all laid out here in this cloud like a deck of cards

I have always found the Corbett Report to be very useful information , although , I must agree with Bill on this one , all IS not lost .

Being a single father of five , of children ranging in the ages of 3.5 to 19 years of age , i'm in deep , in the internet information mix .
    s
The 4 older children sometimes will chill with me while I'm on Avalon , and take it in positively .I just subtly let them know that there's more out there than they would normally learn about .

As I was a late bloomer to get to the information table , but always knew subconsciously , something wasn't right in school . Trust me , I hear from my own kids mouths what they are told at school , lots to disagree with .

In my heart , I feel that this younger generation will overcome and will dig deep enough to learn the truth through other channels...if must .

Thanks Avalon , and all who else , teaches and learns in this great space .

Been soaking in this Avalon Bath since 2011 ...don't mean to sound selfish , but i'm not getting out .

Thanks Bill , and all at Avalon ...still

Honestly, I never expected the internet freedom to last as long as it has. Early on, I thought it was just too good. Too good to last.
Of course, I realize now that during that whole time, the hidden side was just working away, gathering info on us all, likely gleaning massive psychological and sociological based info and techniques to hone the manipulations that suit the agenda.

In the meantime - I have recently found this search engine (Peekier) to be more useful to find info I am seeking, since Google has become so frustrating to me lately!

Back in 2010, I had the opportunity to work with someone who gifted me with the realisation that there could be the potential to liberate humanity from its current plight in this lifetime. It was calculated that all we needed was the square root of 1%, of the 1% of the world population in order to trigger a massive shift in consciousness.

For nearly 7 years, I dedicated my life to this cause but despite our best efforts, and for whatever reasons, we failed to reach barely anyone.

However, I am the eternal optimist and no matter what has been happening in my life, the thought that humanity could somehow pull this off is always there, running in the background of my life. I always wonder how we could make some kind of beginning at Avalon. How might we collaborate on a project to-end-all-projects and what this might look like? A girl can dream can't she?

Seeing Bills post reminded me of a Bioneers talk that Paul Hawkins gave back in 2014. I had forgotten how inspiring and magnificent this video was. Paul mentioned that at a minimum, there were over 130,000 grassroot movements and potentially anywhere up to 500,000. Some memberships of grassroot movements at the time were thought to be in the order of the millions. That was in 2014.

We are now over half way through 2019. What Bill said here made me sit up and pay attention.

Thank you everyone who posted and commented on the Hawken video. I have been lurking in this thread since it began, and i learned a bit about my thoughts and feelings around the phrase information war. As I was thinking about this trying to continue to watch that video I had the thought that we have lost the information war as soon as we believe it is a war. We become traumatized by events, thoughts and feelings as soon as we believe in them and they become solid and not the flow that they are, that flow is described by our fellow human being in the video, that was posted and commented on by our fellow forum members.

We have been entering a time of intense social economic, ecological, and physical upheaval for a while now and we have urges coming from many directions that are trying to fix that upheaval in various directions. No matter what happens, we will always be able to think a thought or not, to believe or not believe and to let the flow of creation flow more smoothly as we are swept along by it.

The apparent devolution of social media has a certain importance, and the rising wave of truth that is still happening between various people has it's own according to what we think and do about it.

The underground railroads of the civil war and of world war two that freed people flowed along normal human communication lines, not internet and cable tv lines.

I personally have had times when I shifted from my physical senses to something beyond them where information flows quite differently, and my insistence on having the answers (which comes from my fears) slips away, and I touch knowing. The main thing that I have been able to bring back into the realm of senses thoughts and words is that that state has always been there behind the agitation of the physical, and is informing life in all it's forms.

Default Re: The Information War is Over and We Have Lost

I have been using Google now for over a decade. Something is resolutely different. Unfortunately, Colbert is right. I'm loathe to be so pessimistic, but without access to information, people will fall further asleep. Yes, there will always be truth seekers and the resolved will always find a way to access information (in that sense the war's not lost), but without a ready access to the truth, the masses will drift further into trance, truth seekers will become more marginalized, and the truth itself will become more fringe. People might say, so what? What does it matter?

I would argue it matters to the extent that a false reality is being foisted upon us plebs in a concerted effort to dumb down and cull the population, and to render resistance to our inevitable enslavement psychologically impossible.

A concrete example of this occurred in June of this year in New York State when vaccinations became mandatory by law. There was no public resistance. This occurred roughly a year or two after Google altered their algorithms. How do I know this? Because I've been researching vaccines now through Google (among other platforms) for the past ten years and about two years ago something noticeably changed in the quality of information available online vs. the subtle propaganda a lay person or someone not versed on the subject would have trouble discerning. This is a critical development that cannot be understated.

As long as information is readily available to illuminate the deception and the underlying agenda, lawmakers (who really but carry the water for their corporate masters) will always struggle passing draconian injunctions sold to the public in shinny wrapping. A loud minority always succeeds in thwarting a sinister agenda. But take away the information and resistance is futile. All that's left is the shinny packaging. The loud minority becomes a much smaller party of fringe tinfoil hats.

Regardless if one agrees that mandatory vaccination is good legislation (I acknowledge some people do agree with vaccination and I bear no judgement against them) the draconian measure to force by injection is a clear violation of the number one tenet of the Nuremberg Code. We really need to stop and think about how serious this is. Something has changed....and I would argue it is the direct result of the lack of information available to the public. In this one example we plebs are now subject to forced injections by the powers that be, with no legal recourse whatsoever if we be maimed, injured, or just lucky enough to only develop debilitating diseases and cancers in our ensuing years. What's next?

Even if I'm exaggerating a hidden agenda underlying vaccines (there certainly is an underlying agenda, but that's another topic), we are still granting Orwell's Inner Circle full license to carry out any number of experiments they want upon the masses, without any consequence or recourse. Think Tuskegee Experiment going nuclear and widespread. What recourse do we have? How long will it be before one cannot even Google "Tuskegee Experiment?"

Unless we reverse what Colbert address in this video, and fast, the technocrats slowing sucking the oxygen out of the room are succeeding in dispatching a very sophisticated psychological weapon against the masses.

I say time to stand up and SCREAM....

I use duckduckgo.com and other search engines. Google is not a search engine anymore. It is a propaganda and censorship machine. It filters searches programatically.
