Default Baby monkey shakes with fear as he's snatched from parents to be used in British lab

So with the scientists pounding their chest about AI , I would like to know why in the hell are we still experimenting on life forms since we are so called so advanced now?? Or is it like here in the states in many settings where there are government grants given to colleges and such year after year that absolutely do nothing except create a revenue stream so some pieces of crap can have a job for a while at the expense of another life form. At what point are we really going to become advanced? All this stuff just doesn't need to happen anymore.

The way our civilization treats animals that are a food source is a disgrace. Chickens are kept in small cages with their beaks cut off and laying eggs through the cage floor. Or cattle that are fed slaughterhouse waste product which caused madcow disease. Apparently pigs, a very intelligent animal, are treated worse than anyone can imagine.

The maltreatment of livestock leads to two complications. First, the food quality is degraded due to a low quality of life for the animal, in addition to the pollution of pesticides, etc. that contaminate these animals. In addition, as the public becomes more aware of this maltreatment, the more people shift away from meat and animal product consumption.

I agree Justplain and would only add that I believe there is much more to the "Vegan agenda" being pushed down everyone's throat recently....

Things like this only prove that humans are not a very advanced species, at least in spiritual terms. Truly sad indeed.

I agree with the sentiment, but disagree that we are advanced, or at least my thinking is if we are advanced then I don't want to be advanced. Wild or primitive humans would be appalled at such behavior. We have bred dogs over time to be better companions than wolves, but it is not the same in the world of Biogen research. All strains of laboratory mice develop leukemia, but some strains such as AKR were specifically selected and bred for MuLV-induced leukemia, how sick is that, a whole type of innocent life-form specifically engineered to be born with a life threatening illness just so we can experiment on how to cure it. We are disgusting at times.

Make you wonder about alien interference, how evolved are they to do the things they do, or is their excuse that they are merely experimenting scientist as well i wonder... N

Enough just seeing the tittle. Don’t want to open the link. Just heartbreaking what is done in name of progress, science or whatever.

I also did not open the link. Humans do this to their own as well. Child trafficking, is a real Worldwide problem. This is outrageous, humans can never advance spiritually until we stop these despicable practices as a race.
Am I one of many or am I many of one ? interesting .

I opened the link, and regretted it immediately. Aldo we call ourselves human beings, we are far from "humane". We are probably the biggest and worst animals on this planet.
