There has been a great deal of archaeological discussion around "Venus figurines" found scattered across multiple cultures. What are they? What do they mean?

I am not sure it is so complex. Could they not simply be the pornography of their time?

"Here son, this was your grandfather's lust idol."

Even better, they actually have three dimensions, and you can control them. A robot without a brain.

I think it would work, and if I can swipe one from a museum, I will. Otherwise, I have to be content with pictures. A picture of a doll? More satisfying than a real human being?

If they are in any way related to Minoan culture, what went on there, was around four in the afternoon, everyone would go lounge around on public benches. Then you would just pick a partner and go at it. Matriarchal societies are also known for a lack of marriage and the woman taking whatever lovers she wants. "Bottling" this and repressing it is perhaps the "great change" leading to the patriarchal neurosis we see in most recorded history.

I got that idea from a champion fornicator who had over 300 orgasms in one day and only stopped because the sixteen men were exhausted.

I tend to find that sex, love, and personal relationships are three separate topics. They may work all in one person, but, even with our "advanced development", this is fairly rare. Love is for everybody, so that doesn't really mean much on an individual basis. The other two are perhaps more intricate, but, after, what I guess I would call a spectrum of "all kinds" of experiences, those sex partners who did not make deep personal hooks seem to have been more relieving, more fair, never really a problem with any of those.

But where I live, almost everyone is really ugly to start with, and a useless mental basket case to boot. My view is perhaps skewed since we breed large numbers of low quality, which seems to be the real problem. If it was the other way around, then pornography probably would not work, or there would be no time for it. The upswing is that a few living healthy females who merely spoke to me nicely were better "medicine" than anything on the planet.

Shaberon / some interesting observations. I do agree that these 3 issues mentioned , sex, love , and personal relationships are separate topics.

I find sex a very complicated /simple topic.

Still not many good reasonings for its oddities, violence , game and role playing, and assorted oddities, putting on diapers, dog collars and the list goes on, Why a selection of porn works for a while and then looses its effect ? It only makes me think that we as people need diversity in breeding and the constant hunt many experience in truth is hard wired.
I find this sad and a dead end, but a reality.
If someone is not very physically attractive, well then I believe they are naturally removed from this chase game the way a short person is removed from being in the NBA. NOT ALL, but most.

But very attractive men and women who get looks and come ons, have a hard time keeping focused. Just something I have observed.

As far as romantic love goes, its easily conflated with lust ,desire and compulsive attraction and very subject to change like the weather. But a couple that truly loves each other, still has to deny themselves physical variety, the very thing that usually got them to be attracted to each other in the first place, in order to keep their bond and commitment . So lying and deception is simply part of it.

If the hunt is built in to you pretty strongly, I find your in for lots of suffering. Cant have it all. So porn can ease this stress.

For the last 3 years, I have eliminated all romance from my life after my last 8 year break up. time to double down on my work. Never been more at peace, and happier.

No I have absolutely no clue about fetishes. Meaningless to me. Apparently to some people, it is very serious, and "some" is a pretty significant number here. I am utterly lost about attraction to an undeveloped minor or any kind of deviation really. It's pretty instinctual, food is the closest metaphor I can find.

Like a stall of ordinary apples, with a small selection of different, more tempting ones. People usually want the "best one" first. But say for instance a tempting one has a bruise or hole or whatever, if the thing, overall, is good, then the blemish is fine.

The mediocre ones still don't have much pull, and there is not a whole lot they can do about it.

I love someone to death in a personal way who said it was ok for me to continue to hunt. Even so, it's still a "prowl here?!?" kind of thing since the delicious apples are rare.

I don't think I could ever remove it. It's "opportunism" which I think is also how a lot of politics and crime go on, but I am overly honest. I am still grateful for the chance to have helped some of the women, even if it turned into a personal or emotional trainwreck.

What's worse than finding a worm in your apple?...finding half a worm. 🍎Haha

Everyone wants the shiny apple. Sometimes it can conceal hidden flaws ...

Conversely, sometimes the tastiest apple does not look that appealing.

And sometimes just the sight of an apple can make your mouth water.
