Good stuffs. The 2nd season focused more on AI, interesting but not as epic. I'll place it 2nd fav anime after ghost in the shell franchies just because there weren't any other scifi anime as complex & mind fook as this. What are the other 2 series?

Probably Rurouni Kenshin and Clanad. Aso enjoyed a lot Sword Art Online (been a gamer myself) and Assassination Classroom just for the parody :D

Oh geez, too many to list. I am old school with the DragonBall, I love Naruto, Inuyasha, Bleach, Attack on Titan, Chobits, Gundam Wing, and on and on and on. Gs_powered mentioned Kenshin, and I love it too.

We just started DeathNote, and Trigun and OnePunch Man are gonna come next, and SwordArt Online is also high on the list of what we will watch soon.

For the kids we will be starting OnePiece, I think they will get a kick out of Monkey D Luffy, and maybe distract them from the How to Train Your Dragon and Pokemon that are their current favorites.

Not even mentioning any of the great movies out there...

Good stuffs 90s dragon ball z is also 1 of my fav. 80s mobile suit gundam. Neon genesis evangelion, Cowboy bebop, hellsing, elfen lied, old skool 80s fist of the north star. Anime movies like Akira, spirited away. Obscure old skool anime & OVA like wicked city, demon city shinjuku, urotsukijodi, appleseed, genocyber, vampire hunter d, ninja scroll.. modern ones like karas, dead leaves, newer ghost in the shell..

Haven't seen nearly as many as all the others, but Hunter x Hunter will always be one of my favorites

Oh yeah, how could i forget Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo, those are great.

My kids went through Hunter X Hunter, I liked it but they watched most of it without me.
