Default Hillary Clinton interviewed by Howard Stern

Love him or hate him, Howard is great at interviews. I thought some of you folks might like to see this:
Today is victory over yourself of yesterday. Tomorrow is your victory over lesser men.

Well, I think Howard Stern is a succesful interviewer here because he can make his guests relaxed and look good. But a truly great interviewer like Joe Rogan or Kerry Cassidy get their subjects to reveal something new and thoughtful about themselves, something that perhaps they didn't intend to say before the interview, but let there desire to really open up about the truth happen. There was none of that here. At least Howard Stern openly admits he is a big Clinton supporter and it's quite obvious he is doing his best to promote her. Watching Hillary nonchalantly throw her support behind Biden here, I can't help but wonder if she knows that something is going to happen that will force Biden to withdraw and then she will "reluctantly" toss her hat in the ring for the election "for the good of the country" and run in 2020.

This interview just solidifies the idea of St. Hillary, the poor victim of sexism and those crazy deplorables, who perseveres anyway because of her tough as nails determination. She just shrugs off the slings and arrows of fate: the infidelity of her husband, the crazy conspiracy theories from the alt-right who chant "crooked Hillary", the sniper fire bullets she dodged in Bosnia.

She briefly mentions her book “The Book of Gutsy Women: Favorite Stories of Courage and Resilience.” Parts of the book are online and I read the first profile in the book, of Harriet Tubman. It tells the amazing story of how Harriet Tubman caused a distraction in a court room when an escaped slave was being returned to a slavery, and later, a near riot outside the court house, which won the liberty for this person. It was, indeed, a gutsy and courageous act, and I have no doubt the book is filled with other amazing courageous acts, done by women for the sake of social justice. And here, in this interview, what is being implied, is that Hillary is one of those women, and has modeled her life on selfless people like Harriet Tubman.

In 2011, when Hilary Clinton was U.S. Secretary she was one of the prime mover and shakers in the world to get NATO nations to invade Libya and bring about regime change. Before the invasion, Libya had the highest standard of living on the African continent for it's average citizen. Education, housing and health care were free, and if this sounds like a socialist paradise, there were no taxes in the country. The profits from the nations oil reserves was there to benefit everyone, not just the Rockefellers.

After the invasions, there was a strong presence of Al Qaeda and a break down of many of the country's systems. Massive illegal immigration from all parts of Africa to Europe began to filter through Libya. There were suddenly huge detention centers and criminal networks were taking some of the detainees and selling them in slave markets.

While social justice advocates have fought for centuries to eliminate slavery and human trafficking, Hillary Clinton is one of the few political leaders who have actually helped it to re-emerge. She has said nothing about this tragedy for which she is a prime architect of. Meanwhile, she is trying to bask in the aura of truly courageous and righteous people like Harriet Tubman. And Howard Stern is helping her do it.

Kryztian, Stern got her to deny she was a lesbian. Synchronistically, I'm watching an old TV show that has Hillary's rumoured girlfriend, Mary Steenburgen, on it. :-)

This reminds me of a real story that someone I used to know very well, and who was the then boyfriend of my landlady, recounted some years back.

He (Andy) was a contractor, based in a hotel some miles away from Sarajevo, in another town altogether. Kate Adie, an accomplished and successful journalist who was a regular feature on British television in those days broadcast an 'on-the-spot' live-to-air report back in 1995 which, from memory, went something along the lines of "...bombing...narrowly avoided being hit....here in Sarajevo...".

Where of course she most certainly was not

She was broadcasting from the roof of the same hotel that Andy was residing in. He pretty much watched them record the whole segment
“If a man does not keep pace with [fall into line with] his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away.” - Thoreau

Funny how she's never asked about Libya any more, isn't it? The still ongoing horror show that isn't to be spoken of in polite company. If anyone ever did dare ask, I wonder if she would just flat out deny that she was quite obviously brimming with glee when saying "we came, we saw, he died"

In the same manner that her good buddy Madeleine Albright now bristles in denial that she ever actually meant it was worth it that hundreds of thousands of children died under US sanctions on Iraq

I wasn't aware she was comparing herself to women like Harriet Tubman. How dare she, I find that truly disgusting!

And yes, I thought Howard Stern's groveling and fawning was disgusting as well, I've now lost a lot of respect for him, I guess he's in the club now.

He's also conveniently enabling her to continue on avoiding any responsibility for her loss to Trump as well. No, it can't possibly be she was a terrible candidate that ran a shi**y campaign. Nope, it's gotta be the Russians, or that Bernie Sanders didn't endorse her soon enough, or next thing you know she'll trot out John Podesta to insist that it was really the grays manipulating things from their super secret base on the dark side of the moon who are responsible.

Sigh, these people, it's just so... in your face any more.

Tintin, and your story reminds me of a story recounted by Peter Levenda. He was in a hotel in Kuala Lumpur, watching CNN in the hotel bar. CNN was reporting live, about a massive riot happening, in the very same city they were in. As they listened to the details, they found it was happening right on the square their hotel was located on. So several people left the bar and went outside to survey the area and everything seemed normal. Then they noticed in one area that a crowd of a dozen angry people in one area and a CNN camera filming them. They could see how the camera angle was making the event look much bigger than it actually was.
