The Mystery of Nikola Tesla’s Missing Files

The FBI has finally declassified its files on Nikola Tesla, but questions remain.
After Nikola Tesla was found dead in January 1943 in his hotel room in New York City, representatives of the U.S. government’s Office of Alien Property seized many documents relating to the brilliant and prolific 86-year-old inventor’s work.

It was the height of World War II, and Tesla had claimed to have invented a powerful particle-beam weapon, known as the “Death Ray,” that could have proved invaluable in the ongoing conflict. So rather than risk Tesla’s technology falling into the hands of America’s enemies, the government swooped in and took possession of all the property and documents from his room at the New Yorker Hotel.

What happened to Tesla’s files from there, as well as what exactly was in those files, remains shrouded in mystery—and ripe for conspiracy theories. After years of fielding questions about possible cover-ups, the FBI finally declassified some 250 pages of Tesla-related documents under the Freedom of Information Act in 2016. The bureau followed up with two additional releases, the latest in March 2018. But even with the publication of these documents, many questions still remain unanswered—and some of Tesla’s files are still missing.

Three weeks after the Serbian-American inventor’s death, an electrical engineer from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) was tasked with evaluating his papers to determine whether they contained “any ideas of significant value.” According to the declassified files, Dr. John G. Trump reported that his analysis showed Tesla’s efforts to be “primarily of a speculative, philosophical and promotional character” and said the papers did “not include new sound, workable principles or methods for realizing such results.”

The scientist’s name undoubtedly rings a bell, as John G. Trump was the uncle of the 45th U.S. president, Donald J. Trump. The younger brother of Trump’s father, Fred, he helped design X-ray machines that greatly helped cancer patients and worked on radar research for the Allies during World War II. Donald Trump himself cited his uncle’s credentials often during his presidential campaign. “My uncle used to tell me about nuclear before nuclear was nuclear,” he once told an interviewer.

At the time, the FBI pointed to Dr. Trump’s report as evidence that Tesla’s vaunted “Death Ray” particle beam weapon didn’t exist, outside of rumors and speculation. But in fact, the U.S. government itself was split in its response to Tesla’s technology. Marc Seifer, author of the biography Wizard: The Life & Times of Nikola Tesla, says a group of military personnel at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio, including Brigadier General L.C. Craigee, had a very different opinion of Tesla’s ideas.


“Craigee was the first person to ever fly a jet plane for the military, so he was like the John Glenn of the day,” Seifer says. “He said, ‘there’s something to this—the particle beam weapon is real.’ So you have two different groups, one group dismissing Tesla’s invention, and another group saying there’s really something to it.”

Then there’s the nagging question of the missing files. When Tesla died, his estate was to go to his nephew, Sava Kosanovic, who at the time was the Yugoslav ambassador to the U.S. (thanks to his familial connection with Serbia’s most celebrated inventor). According to the recently declassified documents, some in the FBI feared Kosanovic was trying to wrest control of Tesla’s technology in order to “make such information available to the enemy,” and even considered arresting him to prevent this.

In 1952, after a U.S. court declared Kosanovic the rightful heir to his uncle’s estate, Tesla’s files and other materials were sent to Belgrade, Serbia, where they now reside in the Nikola Tesla Museum there. But while the FBI originally recorded some 80 trunks among Tesla’s effects, only 60 arrived in Belgrade, Seifer says. “Maybe they packed the 80 into 60, but there is the possibility that…the government did keep the missing trunks.”

For the five-part HISTORY series The Tesla Files, Seifer joined forces with Dr. Travis Taylor, an astrophysicist, and Jason Stapleton, an investigative reporter, to search for these missing files and seek out the truth of the government’s views on the “Death Ray” particle-beam weapon and Tesla’s other ideas.
Despite John G. Trump’s dismissive assessment of Tesla’s ideas immediately after his death, the military did try and incorporate particle-beam weaponry in the decades following World War II, Seifer says. Notably, the inspiration of the “Death Ray” fueled Ronald Reagan’s Strategic Defense Initiative, or “Star Wars” program, in the 1980s. If the government is still using Tesla’s ideas to power its technology, Seifer explains, that could explain why some files related to the inventor still remain classified.

There is evidence that Franklin D. Roosevelt’s vice president, Henry Wallace, discussed “the effects of TESLA, particularly those dealing with the wireless transmission of electrical energy and the ‘death ray’” with his advisors, according to FBI documents released in 2016. Along the same lines, Seifer and his colleagues in The Tesla Files uncovered the role played by Vannevar Bush, whom FDR appointed as head of the Manhattan Project, in the evaluation of Tesla’s papers. They also looked at the possibility that FDR himself may have sought a meeting with the inventor just before he died.

By visiting some of the key places in Tesla’s life—from his laboratory in Colorado Springs to his last living quarters at the Hotel New Yorker to the mysterious wireless tower he built at Wardenclyffe, Long Island—Seifer, Taylor and Stapleton sought to unravel some of the mysteries surrounding the celebrated, enigmatic inventor. They also traveled to California, where some of Tesla’s other groundbreaking ideas —many of which were seen as unrealistic or even crackpot during his own lifetime—now fuel some of the most dominant industries in Silicon Valley.

Although some of his more sensitive innovations may still be hidden, Tesla’s legacy is alive and well, both in the devices we use every day, and the technologies that will undoubtedly play a role in our future. “Tesla is the inventor of wireless technology. He’s the inventor of the ability to create an unlimited number of wireless channels,” Seifer says of the inventor’s lasting impact. “So radio guidance systems, encryption, remote control robots—it’s all based on Tesla’s technology.”

The Missing Tesla Papers

During the night of January 7, 1943 Nikola Tesla died in his room at the Hotel New Yorker. The morning after the inventor's death, his nephew Sava Kosanovic hurried to his uncle's room at the Hotel New Yorker. He was an up-and-coming Yugoslav official with suspected connections to the communist party in his country. By the time he arrived, Tesla's body had already been removed, and Kosanovic´ suspected that someone had already gone through his uncle's effects. Technical papers were missing as well as a black notebook he knew Tesla kept—a notebook with several hundred pages, some of which were marked "Government."

Several trunks of papers, records and equipment were removed from his room by the Department of Justice Alien Property Custodian Office. According to the controversial president of the FBI, J. Edgar Hoover, "they did not have any knowledge of the fact that the papers were photographed or that his men did such thing". The controversy of the "missing papers" begins by the fact that Tesla was already a citizen of the USA and for this reason this is a division of the U.S. government that should not even have authority or jurisdiction over Tesla's estate. According to the FBI, the papers were carefully analyzed by John G. Trump, a RADAR scientist at MIT, along with several high level Naval Intelligence officials. Trump declares that the papers do not contain any new information which would “constitute a hazard in unfriendly hands” and the papers are deemed safe to be released. Trump includes an analysis of Tesla’s particle beam papers in his report, concluding that the plans do not contain enough information to actually build a weapon and that any workable configuration would be of very limited power. Anyway today these papers are supposed to be in the Nikola Tesla Museum in Belgrade, Yugoslavia.

According to the official statement by the FBI:

When Tesla died in New York in January 1943, his papers—which were thought to include plans for a particle beam weapon, dubbed a “death ray” by the press—were temporarily seized by the Department of Justice Alien Property Custodian Office (“alien” in this case means “foreigner,” although Tesla was a U.S. citizen). Despite longstanding reports and rumors, the FBI was not involved in searching Tesla’s effects, and it never had possession of his papers or any microfilm that may have been made of those papers. Since 1943, we have told a consistent story to all who have asked. Reports to the contrary appear to be based on an initial confusion of FBI agents with other government officials—especially Alien Property Office personnel. These rumors have long been repeated in biographies and articles on Tesla without double-checking the facts as reported in our files.

Tesla claimed that efforts had been made to steal the "death ray" invention saying his room had been entered and his papers had been scrutinized, but the thieves, or spies, left empty-handed. He said that there was no danger that his invention could be stolen for he had at no time committed any part of it to paper. The blueprint for the Teleforce weapon was all in his mind.

In 1937, at his birthday press conference Tesla was asked about his weapon and made the claim, "But it is not an experiment... I have built, demonstrated and used it. Only a little time will pass before I can give it to the world."

At the 1940 birthday press conference an 84 year old Tesla offered to develop his weapon for the US but there was no interest in his offer.

There was an agreement dated in April 20, 1935 between Nikola Tesla and the Amtorg Trading corporation, as highlighted from the released unclassified FBI archives (Part 1 page 185). Contained within the extract Tesla agreed to supply plans, specification, and complete information on a method and apparatus for producing very small particles in a tube open to air, for increasing the charge of the particles to the full voltage of the high potential terminal, and for projecting the particles to a distances of a hundred miles or more. The maximum speed of the particles was specified as not less than 350 miles per second. The receipt of $25,000 fee for this disclosure was acknowledged by Nikola Tesla and by A. Bartanian of the Amtorg Trading Corporation.

During World War II, Amtorg handled the flow of military supplies to the Soviet Union, including armaments, raw materials, food, and uniforms under the Lend-Lease program.

During the Cold War years, the scope of Amtorg’s enterprise was more limited, but it continued to conduct its business at 49 West 37th Street, in New York City, maintaining a skeleton staff. As an arm of the Soviet state, Amtorg, at that time located at 355 Lexington Avenue in New York City, was targeted in two bombing attempts, in 1971 and 1976, by members of the Jewish Armed Resistance, an extremist group affiliated with the Jewish Defense League.

Surrounded by continuing controversy, Amtorg survived the Cold War but did not survive the collapse of the Soviet Union, quietly disappearing in 1998.

Tesla first announced this technology on July 11th, 1934, when he told the New York Sun and The New York Times that he was developing a new weapon to end war forever The press called it the ""peace ray"" or “death ray” Tesla made many further statements on the death ray, each time claiming he was closer to its demonstration Tesla intended this beam to be available to all countries and to be used purely for defense It could melt enemy airplane motors before they approached the coast and blow up hostile bombers

Tesla hoped that, with immovable wireless power plants set up on all the world’s national boundaries, no country would be able to attack another ever again If one country had sole control over it, such a weapon could put a country in a position of supremacy over all others Fitzgerald also declared that all the “death beam” information could be found in the scientist's personal effects Therefore, if Fitzgerald’s testimony is true, it could mean that Tesla’s nephew lied about not going into his uncle’s room until the day after his death In this way, he might have been the one who took the papers he claimed were missing.

Fitzgerald’s testimony to the police may have aroused the interest of the FBI However, the FBI’s very involvement in the investigation is suspicious Thanks to the last 64 pages of their own files released in 2018, we now know that the day after Tesla’s death the FBI took charge of the operation and the Justice Department’s Alien Property Custodian Office, the APCO, seized all the files On January 26th and 27th they asked an MIT electrical engineer, John G Trump, the uncle of President Donald Trump, to examine the papers.


The papers were assigned to the APCO, in charge of foreigners cases, but Nikola Tesla became a naturalized US citizen in 1891 Therefore the APCO jurisdiction over the papers was unjustified It is most likely the FBI did not have the authority to seize Tesla’s papers quickly enough, so they used Tesla’s immigrant background as an excuse to ask the APCO to intervene so that they could prevent the death-ray papers falling into the wrong hands.

Nevertheless, Nikola’s nephew, who was an up-and-coming Yugoslav official with suspected connections to the Communist party in his own country, was awarded custody of his uncle’s property by an American court in January 1943 However, he had to claim it multiple times without success over the following years The FBI feared he would use the papers as an international bargaining chip They even considered arresting him to assure that the contents of the papers would not leave the United States, at least until the APCO was sure there wasn’t any meaningful revelation they could use They finally dropped the papers in September 1951, after a careful examination of the papers by the “Project Nick” experts
“Project Nick” was born just after the end of World War II at the Patterson Airforce Base in Dayton, Ohio, to test the feasibility of Tesla’s concepts We don’t know how the papers were outsourced since it has always been a secret project and the results of the experiment were never published We only know that the project was discontinuous and, eventually, it came to nothing Well, almost nothing As a matter of fact, some of the papers went missing.

Of the 80 trunks, only 60 arrived safe and sound at the final destination and nobody knows what happened to them since then Once in possession of the documents, Tesla’s nephew handed them over to the Belgrade University Faculty of Electrical Engineering and, the following year, the files were moved to the Tesla Museum These government actions make it seem like the US were willing to do whatever it took to delay the disposal of the files.

They even went against their own law, ignoring the judgment of the Court It’s not surprising then, that, once the USSR received the remaining files from ""Project Nick"" the regime seemed particularly focused on the papers They blamed the US for the missing papers and they were determined to outmatch them
That’s why, during the Cold War, the US feared the Soviets might achieve a technology breakthrough Now, we have two of the biggest nations of the world competing for some potentially world-changing papers but, can we be sure Tesla’s last projects actually worked? After he was hit by a taxicab in 1937, Tesla never really recovered from the accident His advanced age, 81, at the time of the accident might have affected his already weak psychology.

In fact, it is known that he developed a peculiar obsession for pigeons in the early nineteen-twenties and, according to his journal, he even fell in love with one of them Furthermore, some of his ideas have since been scientifically discredited For example, Tesla believed he could build a machine able to project people’s thoughts, a sort of Thought Camera The idea that a picture could be recorded from the human retina was not unusual in Tesla’s time, and he probably based his Thought Camera on the work of German physiologist Wilhelm Kühne , the greatest pioneer of optography But Kühne himself couldn’t prove the concept and it has been repeatedly debunked by scientists.

Moreover, according to Dr. John G Trump’s report in the declassified files, after two days of evaluation, he concluded that “[Tesla's papers were] primarily of a speculative, philosophical and promotional character [They did] not include new sound, workable principles or methods for realizing results” This means that there’s no concrete proof his later inventions could be effective, including the “death beam”.

Not everyone agreed with Trump Brigadier General LC Craigie was in charge of “Project Nick” and he firmly believed the beam weapon was real and could work Is it possible that Tesla’s “death ray” works and someone with access to the missing files could use it? One of the most recent and creative online theories claims that President Donald Trump holds the papers safe, and is just waiting for the right moment to use them.

Previously, theorists believed the FBI had them and kept them top-secret Over the years the Bureau has denied any involvement in the investigation but in 2016 they issued a statement in which they admitted their involvement in the case during the primary investigations However, they still denied having ever been in possession of the papers, which they said have always been under the jurisdiction of the APCO The declassified FBI files give us an insight into the strange events surrounding Tesla's personal papers in the days and decades after his death But we still don’t know why it took them so long to release the files and why they finally did it.

Besides this, the documents are only partially readable, making it difficult to fully interpret the events So, is there something else the FBI doesn’t want us to know? Is there someone out there in possession of the missing papers, that could prove Tesla’s thesis?

One of the more controversial topics involving Nikola Tesla is what became of many of his technical and scientific papers after he died in 1943. Just before his death at the height of World War II, he claimed that he had perfected his so-called "death beam." So it was natural that the FBI and other U.S. Government agencies would be interested in any scientific ideas involving weaponry. Some were concerned that Tesla's papers might fall into the hands of the Axis powers or the Soviets.

The morning after the inventor's death, his nephew Sava Kosanovic´ hurried to his uncle's room at the Hotel New Yorker. He was an up-and-coming Yugoslav official with suspected connections to the communist party in his country. By the time he arrived, Tesla's body had already been removed, and Kosanovic´ suspected that someone had already gone through his uncle's effects. Technical papers were missing as well as a black notebook he knew Tesla kept—a notebook with several hundred pages, some of which were marked "Government."

P. E. Foxworth, assistant director of the New York FBI office, was called in to investigate. According to Foxworth, the government was "vitally interested" in preserving Tesla's papers. Two days after Tesla's death, representatives of the Office of Alien Property went to his room at the New Yorker Hotel and seized all his possessions.

Dr. John G. Trump, an electrical engineer with the National Defense Research Committee of the Office of Scientific Research and Development, was called in to analyze the Tesla papers in OAP custody. Following a three-day investigation, Dr. Trump concluded:

[quote]: "His [Tesla's] thoughts and efforts during at least the past 15 years were primarily of a speculative, philosophical, and somewhat promotional character often concerned with the production and wireless transmission of power; but did not include new, sound, workable principles or methods for realizing such results". [unquote].

Just after World War II, there was a renewed interest in beam weapons. Copies of Tesla's papers on particle beam weaponry were sent to Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. An operation code-named "Project Nick" was heavily funded and placed under the command of Brigadier General L. C. Craigie to test the feasibility of Tesla's concept. Details of the experiments were never published, and the project was apparently discontinued. But something peculiar happened. The copies of Tesla's papers disappeared and nobody knows what happened to them.

In 1952, Tesla's remaining papers and possessions were released to Sava Kosanovic´ and returned to Belgrade, Yugoslavia where a museum was created in the inventor's honor. For many years, under Tito's communist regime, it was extremely difficult for Western journalists and scholars to gain access to the Tesla archive in Yugoslavia; even then they were allowed to see only selected papers. This was not the case for Soviet scientists who came in delegations during the 1950s. Concerns increased in 1960 when Soviet Premier Khrushchev announced to the Supreme Soviet that "a new and fantastic weapon was in the hatching stage."

Work on beam weapons also continued in the United States. In 1958 the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) initiated a top-secret project code-named "Seesaw" at Lawrence Livermore Laboratory to develop a charged-particle beam weapon. More than ten years and twenty-seven million dollars later, the project was abandoned "because of the projected high costs associated with implementation as well as the formidable technical problems associated with propagating a beam through very long ranges in the atmosphere." Scientists associated with the project had no knowledge of Tesla's papers.

In the late 1970s, there was fear that the Soviets may have achieved a technological breakthrough. Some U.S. defense analysts concluded that a large beam weapon facility was under construction near the Sino-Soviet border in Southern Russia.

The American response to this "technological surprise" was the Strategic Defense Initiative announced by President Ronald Reagan in 1983. Teams of government scientists were urged to "turn their great talents now to the cause of mankind and world peace, to give us the means of rendering these nuclear weapons impotent and obsolete."

Today, after a half-century of research and billions of dollars of investment, the SDI program is generally considered a failure, and there is still no realistic means of defense against a nuclear missile attack.

For many years scientists and researchers have sought for Tesla's missing papers with no apparent success. It is conceivable that if Nikola Tesla knew a means for accurately projecting lethal beams of energy through the atmosphere, he may have taken it to the grave with him.

Lost secrets

After Nikola Tesla died, there was a scramble by the United States government to find all of his papers, notes and research before other foreign powers could find them.



What happened with forgotten papers of Nikola Tesla? Tesla’s nephew, Sava Kosanovic, reported that before the OAP had arrived, someone else had obviously gone through Tesla’s belongings and took an unknown amount of personal notes and papers.

It was known by the FBI that German intelligence had already spirited away a sizable amount of Tesla’s research several years before his death.

This stolen material, it is thought, would eventually result in the development of the Nazi flying saucer.

The United States was going to make sure that this would not happen again. Anything even remotely associated with the great man was quickly confiscated and lost within the secret networks of pre-World War II America.

Nevertheless, more than a dozen boxes of Tesla’s belongings left behind at hotels like the Waldorf Astoria, the Governor Clinton Hotel and the St. Regis had already been sold to salvagers to pay off Tesla’s outstanding bills.

Most of these boxes and the secrets they contained have never been found. Pretty bad, isn’t it?

In 1976, four undistinguished boxes of papers were auctioned in the estate sale of one Michael P. Bornes. Little is known about Bornes except that he had been a bookseller in Manhattan. This auction took place in Newark, NJ, with the boxes and their contents being bought by Dale Alfrey for twenty five dollars.

Alfrey had no idea what was in the boxes when he bought them on a whim. When he later went through them, he was surprised to find what appeared to be lab documents and personal notes of Nikola Tesla.

Some of the lost papers of Tesla had once again resurfaced. However, due to ignorance they were almost lost once again.

Alfrey had little idea of the importance of the papers he now owned. Going through the incredible amount of material, Alfrey at first thought he had uncovered the notes of a science fiction writer. What he read was so incredible that it seemed impossible that any of it was true. Having little interest in what he had bought, Alfrey stashed the boxes away in his basement thinking that he would go through them again later when he had more time.

Twenty years passed before Alfrey would once again find the time to open the strange boxes. Unfortunately, time had not been so kind to the precious contents contained within.

The papers by now had mildewed badly and the ink had faded from the years of neglect in the damp basement.

Alfrey was determined not to let this material disappear forever and started the laborious effort of trying to transcribe the information before it was too late.
However, Alfrey soon found himself caught up in reading the remarkable papers.

Tesla’s notes are shocking in their revelations of the scientist’s secret life. A life, that up until this time, had never been mentioned by Tesla, or documented by biographers after his death.

These lost journals revealed that in 1899, while in Colorado Springs, Tesla intercepted communications from extraterrestrial beings who were secretly controlling mankind. These creatures were slowly preparing humans for eventual conquest and domination, using a program that had been in place since the creation of humankind, but was now accelerating due to Earth’s increased scientific awareness.

Tesla wrote about his years of research to interpret the strange radio signals, and his attempts to notify the government and military concerning what he had learned, but his letters apparently went unanswered.

Tesla spoke in confidence to several of his benefactors, including Colonel John Jacob Astor, who owned the Waldorf Astoria hotel. These benefactors listened to Tesla and secretly funded what was to be the start of mankind’s first battle to regain control of its own destiny. A battle set in motion by Nikola Tesla.

My first observations positively terrified me, as there was present in them something mysterious, not to say supernatural, and I was alone in my laboratory at night; but at that time the idea of these disturbances being intelligently controlled signals did not yet present itself to me.

The changes I noted were taking place periodically and with such a clear suggestion of number and order that they were not traceable to any cause known to me. I was familiar, of course, with such electrical disturbances as are produced by the sun, Aurora Borealis, and earth currents, and I was as sure as I could be of any fact that these variations were due to none of these causes.

The nature of my experiments precluded the possibility of the changes being produced by atmospheric disturbances, as has been rashly asserted by some. It was some time afterward when the thought flashed upon my mind that the disturbances I had observed might be due to an intelligent control.

Although I could not decipher their meaning, it was impossible for me to think of them as having been entirely accidental.

The feeling is constantly growing on me that I had been the first to hear the greeting of one planet to another. A purpose was behind these electrical signals.”

Decades later on his birthday in 1937, he announced:

I have devoted much of my time during the year past to the perfecting of a new small and compact apparatus by which energy in considerable amounts can now be flashed through interstellar space to any distance without the slightest dispersion.

Tesla never publicly revealed any technical details of his improved transmitter, but in his 1937 announcement, he revealed a new formula showing that:

The kinetic and potential energy of a body is the result of motion and determined by the product of its mass and the square of its velocity.
Let the mass be reduced, the energy is reduced by the same proportion. If it be reduced to zero, the energy is likewise zero for any finite velocity.” (New York Sun, 12 July 1937, p. 6.)

Why is it that there has been little written about Tesla’s belief that he had listened in on alien radio signals? Perhaps the truth has been kept secret…

Not long ago I wrote about how the federal Bureau of Investigation (The FBI) released a number of declassified files about Nikola Tesla

Among them, the government revealed their interest in the Death Ray - a futuristic particle beam weapon that Tesla had invented.

73 years after the FBI seized nearly TWO TRUCKS of papers of one of the world's most famous inventors, the Federal Bureau of Investigations released the documents to the public.

The batch of documents made available through the Freedom of Information Act also reveal Tesla did not die on January 7, 1943, as previously believed, but a day later on January 8.

In general, the FBI documents revealed a number of details that changed a lot of what we know about Tesla, his life, his inventions and his legacy. Check out the declassified documents from the FBI here.

He envisioned a bright and positive future for mankind, as he patented and created hundreds of technologies that no one before had envisioned, nor dared to imagine.

Tesla's UFO - Antigravity technology

We know that Tesla was all about free energy and alternative powers sources.

Actually, it wasn't unidentified.

Despite this, the methods and design of Tesla's revolutionary vehicle is believed to match the description of people who witnessed disk-shaped flying objects, or UFO's.

It is believed that Tesla's UFO had 'eyes' made of electro-optical lenses, arranged in quadrants, allowing the pilot to see everything.

Screens and monitors are placed on a console where the browser can observe all areas around the vehicle, and Tesla's incredible invention included magnifying lenses, which could have been used without changing positions.

Evidence of such a vehicle can be found in an interview between Nikola Tesla and The New York Herald, from 1911:

"My Flying machine will have neither wings nor propellers.

You might see it on the ground and you would never guess that it was a flying machine.

Yet it will be able to move at will through the air in any direction with perfect safety, at higher speeds than have yet been reached, regardless of weather and oblivious of "holes in the air" or downward currents.

It will ascend in such currents if desired. It can remain absolutely stationary in the air, even in a wind, for a great length of time.

Its lifting power will not depend upon any such delicate devices as the bird has to employ but upon positive mechanical action." RF

Tesla's Death Ray

Prior to the release of the declassified documents by the FBI, many people argue that Tesla's Death Ray was just another conspiracy.

Previously, it was believed that Tesla's Death Ray did not exist, and the FBI claimed for over a decade that none of their agents had EVER investigated Tesla's papers, nor was the bureau in possession of any of them.

However, after the FBI published Tesla's files, we learned that among the published files, a letter addressed to J. Edgar Hoover, the first Director of the FBI, highlights the importance of an article in which Tesla speaks of the death ray and its 'crucial importance' for future warfare.

It was recommended that Tesla constantly remained under surveillance in order to protect him from 'foreign enemies' who may also have an interest in,

"the secret of such an invaluable instrument of war and/or defense."

Free Energy, and wireless electricity

With the help of funding from J.P. Morgan, Tesla successfully built and tested the famous Wardenclyffe Tower.

The structure was a massive wireless energy transmission station which, according to Tesla, had the ability to transmit wireless power across great distances.

Tesla saw the Wardenclyffe Tower as the beginning of a massive free energy project.

Tesla wanted to use the tower not only to transmit free energy but to send out messages, telephone calls across the Earth.

As explained by Tesla himself, the Earth is "…like a charged metal ball moving through space", which creates the enormous, rapidly varying electrostatic forces which diminish in intensity with the square of the distance from Earth, just like gravity.

Since the direction of propagation radiates from the earth, the so-called force of gravity is toward earth.

His theories were based on the idea that our planet had the ability to conduct the signals. Using a number of different towers, Tesla could have made the idea work.

However, and as we have learned through history, the idea of Free Energy isn't really welcomed by big corporations. After all, why give free energy to the masses when you can make the masses pay big time?

Eventually, Tesla's funding was canceled, and the tower was destroyed, along with Tesla's ideas of a world powered by free energy.

Tesla's Oscillator

This device was an electromechanical apparatus patented by Tesla in 1893.

The device was popularly known as Tesla's Earthquake machine after the European inventor claimed that one version of his device caused an Earthquake in New York in 1898.

In other words, the device could allegedly simulate earthquakes, which meant it could be weaponized.

Some conspiracy theorists are convinced that Tesla's technology was later further developed and is being used by HAARP.

Tesla's Futuristic Aircraft

In addition to creating devices that could potentially be used as weapons, and structures that could offer Free Energy to the world, Nikola Tesla also worked on electrically powered airships that, according to reports, could transport passengers from New York to London in three hours.

These aircraft were not ordinary vehicles. They were supposedly able to harness energy right fro Earth's atmosphere and had no need ever to stop and refuel.

But why have aircraft that makes use of free energy, if billions can be made by selling it?

Drones in 1898

More than a hundred years ago, Tesla invented DRONES.

So, everyone who thinks that Drones are actually a product of recent technologies, are wrong.

It was called Tesla's TELEAUTOMATON. And the funny part is that the government had this technology in their possession for over a hundred years.

This raises a number of questions.

Is it possible that they adopted, further developed, and used 'drones' more than half a decade ago?

The invention which I have described will prove useful in many ways.

Vessels or Vehicles of any suitable kind may be used, like life, dispatch, or pilot boats or the like, or for carrying letters, packages, provisions, instruments, objects, or materials of any description, for establishing communication with inaccessible regions and exploring the conditions existing in the same, for killing or capturing whales or other animals of the sea, and for many other scientific, engineering, or commercial purposes.

But the greatest value of my invention will result from its effect upon warfare and armaments, for by reason of its certain and unlimited destructiveness it will tend to bring about and maintain permanent peace among nations."

Propulsion systems for Spacecraft, and Tesla's Dynamic Theory of Gravity

While we discussed something similar in Tesla's UFO, the truth is that he went beyond flying objects.

In an unpublished article of Man's Greatest Achievement (Prodigal Genius - The Life of Nikola Tesla), Tesla outlined his Dynamic Theory of Gravity saying that 'luminiferous ether fills all space'.

Tesla said that the ether is acted upon by the life-giving creative force.

The ether is thrown into "infinitesimal whirls" ("micro helices") at near the speed of light, becoming ponderable matter. Then, the force subsides and motion ceases, matter reverts to the ether (a form of "atomic decay").

Mankind can harness these processes, to:

• Precipitate matter from the ether
• Create whatever he wants with the matter, and energy derived
• Alter the earth's size
  
• Control earth's seasons (weather control)
  
• Guide earth's path through the Universe, like a spaceship
  
• Cause the collisions of planets to produce new suns and stars, heat, and light
  
• Originate and develop life in infinite forms

After Nikola Tesla died, there was a scramble by the United States government to find all of his papers, notes and research before other foreign powers could find them.

What happened with forgotten papers of Nikola Tesla? Tesla’s nephew, Sava Kosanovic, reported that before the OAP had arrived, someone else had obviously gone through Tesla’s belongings and took an unknown amount of personal notes and papers.

It was known by the FBI that German intelligence had already spirited away a sizable amount of Tesla’s research several years before his death.

This stolen material, it is thought, would eventually result in the development of the Nazi flying saucer.

The United States was going to make sure that this would not happen again. Anything even remotely associated with the great man was quickly confiscated and lost within the secret networks of pre-World War II America.

Nevertheless, more than a dozen boxes of Tesla’s belongings left behind at hotels like the Waldorf Astoria, the Governor Clinton Hotel and the St. Regis had already been sold to salvagers to pay off Tesla’s outstanding bills.

Most of these boxes and the secrets they contained have never been found. Pretty bad, isn’t it?

In 1976, four undistinguished boxes of papers were auctioned in the estate sale of one Michael P. Bornes. Little is known about Bornes except that he had been a bookseller in Manhattan. This auction took place in Newark, NJ, with the boxes and their contents being bought by Dale Alfrey for twenty five dollars.

Alfrey had no idea what was in the boxes when he bought them on a whim. When he later went through them, he was surprised to find what appeared to be lab documents and personal notes of Nikola Tesla.

Some of the lost papers of Tesla had once again resurfaced. However, due to ignorance they were almost lost once again.

Alfrey had little idea of the importance of the papers he now owned. Going through the incredible amount of material, Alfrey at first thought he had uncovered the notes of a science fiction writer. What he read was so incredible that it seemed impossible that any of it was true. Having little interest in what he had bought, Alfrey stashed the boxes away in his basement thinking that he would go through them again later when he had more time.

Twenty years passed before Alfrey would once again find the time to open the strange boxes. Unfortunately, time had not been so kind to the precious contents contained within.

The papers by now had mildewed badly and the ink had faded from the years of neglect in the damp basement.

Alfrey was determined not to let this material disappear forever and started the laborious effort of trying to transcribe the information before it was too late.

However, Alfrey soon found himself caught up in reading the remarkable papers.

Tesla’s notes are shocking in their revelations of the scientist’s secret life. A life, that up until this time, had never been mentioned by Tesla, or documented by biographers after his death.

These lost journals revealed that in 1899, while in Colorado Springs, Tesla intercepted communications from extraterrestrial beings who were secretly controlling mankind. These creatures were slowly preparing humans for eventual conquest and domination, using a program that had been in place since the creation of humankind, but was now accelerating due to Earth’s increased scientific awareness.

Tesla wrote about his years of research to interpret the strange radio signals, and his attempts to notify the government and military concerning what he had learned, but his letters apparently went unanswered.

Tesla’s financier John Jacob Astor was drowned with the Titanic!

Tesla spoke in confidence to several of his benefactors, including Colonel John Jacob Astor, who owned the Waldorf Astoria hotel. I'd still suspect that some of Tesla's most advanced and dramatic work would still be classified. But Tesla experts (and I'm certainly not one) will be poring over all this in very fine detail.

What I find really strange is ... that nobody can give me an audio recording of Nikola Tesla's real voice nor a moving picture of him ... :/ ... I hope someone on Earth some day find exactly that in a "forgotten" box or something.
