Maybe people won't be talking about it? But that may only be because we are herded away from any knowledge of what is important?

I am very concerned that We have a tightening lock down here in the states concerning what we are ALLOWED (by our "protectors") to share, discuss, debate and understand.

I read a tweet by Richard Pan MD (assemblyman in CA responsible for the bills eliminating all ability to refuse vaccines) that was sharing a tweet by a "journalist" known for her alliance to big pharma. Apparently on a facebook group (Stop Mandatory Vaccination), a mother whose family all had flu was worried. She also had doubts about tamifu (prescribed). People apparently responded as advocates for natural treatments and negative comments about tamiflu.

Then one of her children died and she shared that news (though those posts were then removed by the mother? So no proof this is an actual story?).

THEN the tweets launched a wave of social media voices ready to send the mother to jail for not giving the tamiflu, murder all antivaxxers and censor anyone advocating for natural remedies on and on. BUT tamiflu is known to have problems including the fact that it may be useless unless given IMMEDIATELY when symptoms start, not when diagnosed. Then there are other issues that may warrant skepticism.

Moreover, this is an incident supporting facebook and all platforms to STOP the discussion because of the harm when one person has a bad event (in the context of doubt in preferred experts). I am very worried about the climate now. I am afraid we have been BLINKERED as a culture so people cannot make sense themselves of the real agendas.

I see various thought leaders in the alt world who are deliberately seeming to slander others without proof. Innuendo and claims of various other sources of being "controled opposition" and agents of some "enemy" abound.

We know the gate keepers are the (now) limited social media and MSM platforms. Then there are many who I thing ARE agents. I think the lies told by vaccine promoters like MDs Peter Hotez and Richard Pan establish them as such.

IMO we have here at PA a really important avenue to collect and analyze important information. IMO we should all step up and support PA and continue to bring information here to be shared.

Maybe people WILL stop talking but IMO we cannot say that is because there is NOTHING THERE.

Fear and Panic are a huge factor in increasing the death toll, in my opinion. The medical services would rapidly be overwhelmed anywhere if everyone ran to the ER at the first sign of a sniffle, thus greatly limiting the aid to those who really are in dire straights (from any respiratory infection, or other emergencies.) I so wish the governments would concentrate on releasing self-care instructions for flu and colds in general. Our dependency on the medical industry has reached monstrous proportions, sadly.

    Coronavirus: How Dangerous is it?
    Hint: Don't Trust the Media

"Fear-filled news makes money for corporate sponsors of the media, and the more fear generated, the greater the profits."

    Dear friends,

    Coronavirus: Dangerous?
Did you know that according the the most recent update (Jan. 25th) of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC), "so far this season there have been at least 19 million flu illnesses, 180,000 hospitalizations and 10,000 deaths from flu." See "Key Points" on this CDC webpage to verify this statement.

And on this CDC webpage reporting U.S. annual statistics, "influenza has resulted in between 9 million – 45 million illnesses, between 140,000 – 810,000 hospitalizations and between 12,000 – 61,000 deaths annually since 2010." This CDC webpage further states, "between 291,000 and 646,000 people worldwide die from seasonal influenza-related respiratory illnesses each year."

That's roughly 100 deaths every day in the U.S. and over 1,000 every day worldwide from the flu. Since it first began spreading over a month ago, the Coronavirus has taken a couple hundred lives in China. More than that many die in a single day there from the regular flu. So why is the Coronavirus drawing such huge attention worldwide? How dangerous really is this new virus?

Most people are well aware that the media makes money through publicizing tragedies and focusing on bad news. Fear sells. "If it bleeds, it leads." Fear-filled news makes money for corporate sponsors of the media, and the more fear generated, the greater the profits. So when a new virus results in any significant number of deaths, it's only natural that major media around the world hype it up with fear-mongering. Look how much attention this new virus has already drawn. How much has the media gotten you focused on this new development?

Governments have also contributed to spreading fear. An article in the U.K.'s Guardian spells out how government officials promulgated fear-filled pronouncements at the time of the swine flu. The U.K.'s chief medical officer stated on BBC that "65,000 could die" in Britain, peaking at 350 corpses a day. Yet once the flu had run its course, the article continues, a total of only "360 people have died under its influence, most with prior 'non-flu' conditions." That's a small fraction of what this official had predicted and amounts to only a few days of the number of deaths from the regular flu.

Another glaring example can be found in this eye-opening 2009 CBS article that states, "If you've been diagnosed 'probable' or 'presumed' 2009 H1N1 or 'swine flu' in recent months, you may be surprised to know this: odds are you didn't have H1N1 flu. In fact, you probably didn't have flu at all." The article goes on to show how the U.S. government's CDC blatantly manipulated numbers to induce fear.

With the current heightened level of fear, many in China who experience even mild symptoms of the flu are deeply concerned that they might have the Coronavirus. So they immediately go to the hospital only to find it is jammed packed with others who have flu-like symptoms, when – even if they do have a virus – the vast majority of these people have only a common version of the flu. The overwhelm in the hospitals then gets spotlighted by the media, further exacerbating the level of fear, even though the hospital overwhelm has little relation to the relatively few numbers who actually have Coronavirus. So panic reigns even when the real threat is much less than feared.

Why has China locked down the entire city of Wuhan (population 11 million) and it's surrounding areas? Consider that with it's one-party system, China is one of the most controlled and surveilled countries in the world. Chinese citizens are not allowed to access facebook and thousands of other websites which might "contaminate the thoughts" of their people. Could it be that China is using this virus as a huge social experiment in crowd control? Is this an effort to see how much how much control China's communist party can generate through all the fear mongering?

Consider also how the swine flu, avian flu, and SARS all drew widespread fear. The whole world was in deep fear that one or all of these diseases was going to kill many millions worldwide. These "pandemics," the media warned, could even cause large parts of the world to be quarantined. Yet in the end for all of these, the number of deaths worldwide was far less than those for the normal flu.

The media and certain corporations and individuals profit handsomely from all this fear. Pharmaceutical stocks soar during disease outbreaks that get huge publicity. Gilead Sciences made money hand over fist with its sales of Tamiflu during the avian and swine flu scares. According to this Washington Post article on the swine flu, "The WHO's response caused widespread, unnecessary fear and prompted countries around the world to waste millions of dollars. [They] relied on advice from experts with ties to drug makers in developing the guidelines it used to encourage countries to stockpile millions of doses of antiviral medications."

This 2014 Reuters article states, "Researchers who have fought for years to get full data on Roche's flu medicine Tamiflu said ... that governments who stockpile it are wasting billions of dollars on a drug whose effectiveness is in doubt." And further, "The United States has spent more than $1.3 billion buying a strategic reserve of antivirals including Tamiflu, while the British government has spent almost 424 million pounds ($703 million) on a stockpile of some 40 million Tamiflu doses."

The vast majority of those Tamiflu reserves were never used. Even after the shelf-life of the drug was extended from five to seven years, that huge stock of Tamiflu is now all expired, so the billions of dollars spent worldwide on Tamiflu during the avian and swine flu scares were wasted. Yet Roche/Gilead happily pocketed most of that in profit that we as tax-payers paid for.

To add another twist, an article in the U.K.'s respected newspaper, The Independent stated, "The drug Tamiflu, given to tens of thousands of people during the swine flu pandemic, does nothing to halt the spread of influenza and the Government wasted nearly £500 million stockpiling it, a major study has found." The article continues, "The review, authored by Oxford University, claims that Roche, the drug’s Swiss manufacturer, gave a 'false impression' of its effectiveness and accuses the company of 'sloppy science.'" And the side effects nearly killed a number of children.

Did you know that former U.S. Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, who was once chairman of the board at Gilead, personally made a windfall of $5 million from sales of Tamiflu? This was reported in the U.K.'s respected newspaper, The Independent, on March 12, 2006. The article strangely was later removed from their website, though you can still find it using the Internet archive at this link.

Though there is certainly reason to be concerned, there are other reasons to suspect that the Coronavirus outbreak is being greatly exaggerated and people are being manipulated into a position of fear. For summaries of the best media articles revealing intense manipulations around the avian and swine flus, see this highly revealing webpage with abundant links for verification of the claims made.

If this information raises questions about how and why all of this is happening, remember that fear is used by many groups, corporations, and even governments to gain greater control and reap immense profits. Explore an excellent two-page essay titled "Creating a New Paradigm," which shows how and why we are controlled through fear, and – more importantly – what we can do about it. By educating ourselves and spreading the word, we can rise above the fear mongering and make a difference in our world. Thanks for caring.

I just got off the phone with a supplier of mine, her sons wife is from china and her parents are there in china living in one of the quarantined cities. I did not ask which one? She just said that the parents in china said " it is much worse than they are reporting". For those of us in the states here including myself the coronavirus is non-existent to me. the one thing that still doesn't make sense though, if 100 million people were quarantined, then why? I think we all know the answer to that . I just find this hard to digest this is made up.

I will say in watching the local news here this morning , we have a huge amount of schools closed here due to the regular flu hitting this region of northern michigan . Another customer came in a little while ago and said they took all there scrap metal to the scrap yard today and they are closed, everyone there has the regular flu and nobody to work. Just whats happening here.

Yes... all the indications point to that. Every one. Chris Martenson argues, very convincingly, that the real numbers of cases and deaths are between 10—16 times higher. Based on what I feel I know, I entirely agree.

Many remote parts of China are still like a developing country. Simple farming communities, not much communication with the outside world, little sophisticated healthcare. It's inevitable that the virus will spread widely there, but there'll be no social media reports, no official reports, and no testing. We might only really find out what's happened there years later.

If this was a movie, what would happen in several months time is that China would be brought to its knees, and there'd be a widesperead revolution against the government after half the population was gone. We can only pray that it's not remotely that bad, but I'd not bet too much of what I own against that.

Default Re: The Wuhan Coronavirus [Covid-19, the Honey Badger virus]

Mike Adams and Infowars may pick this up in 2-3 days' time.
Chinese Netizens and Expert Suspect Wuhan Bioresearch Lab Is the Source of the Coronavirus

When virologists and medical experts around the globe discussed the suspicious nature of the novel coronavirus and pointed to Wuhan’s P4 lab as a likely source, netizens inside China were watching. A Chinese scholar recently challenged Wuhan’s P4 lab to explain how the proteins of the novel coronavirus seem to have been precisely engineered to enable the virus to bind onto human cells. He also disclosed unethical and unprofessional practices he previously observed in China’s bioresearch labs.

According to Wuhan-based Yangtze Daily, Shi Zhengli, Deputy Director of Wuhan’s P4 Lab, publicized a statement on Feb. 2 saying: “I pledge with my life that the 2019 novel coronavirus has nothing to do with our lab. This virus is a punishment imposed on mankind from nature, to condemn mankind’s uncivilized way of living. Those of you who believe rumors or so-called scientific analysis by unqualified researchers, I advise you to shut your damn mouths!”

Shi’s statement irritated many Chinese netizens. “For such a huge calamity that may take countless lives, give us facts and evidence, not pretentious statements such as pledging with your life,” one netizen commented.

A social media user named Wu Xiaohua, with a Ph.D. in biological related fields according to his WeChat profile, challenged Shi to answer key questions about the suspicious gene mutations found in the new virus.

Wu pointed out there is no way that these mutations are the outcome of natural recombination.

“Now, many scientists, including Shi herself, believe that this virus must have originated from bats, and would involve one or two virus hosts to explain the gene mutations. Based on current scientific publications, the virus must jump from rats to primates before it can infect humans. Then how is this step—from rats to primates—usually achieved? It can only be done in a research lab by scientists inserting a certain protein from primates into rats,” Wu wrote.

“I have personally performed the same type of genetic engineering experiments. You cannot get away by being cavalier. Do you dare to accept the challenge and give us an explanation?” he asked.

Wu also disclosed that some biolabs in China are very poorly regulated.

    Wu’s WeChat post. (Screenshot)

“For instance, some researchers in these labs kept the laboratory dogs as pets; some disposed of animal carcasses casually because following the biosafety rules and cremating them costs a lot of money. Some cut up the laboratory pigs and took the meat home to eat. I know this happened at Beijing 301 Hospital’s spine surgery lab. Worst of all, some laboratory animals were sold to wet markets as wild-caught animals for profit,” he wrote.

Xu Bo, a well-known IT magnate and billionaire in China, cited reports and articles to support Wu’s statements.

In his blog, Xu cited a news report about a lawsuit against biologist Li Ning.

Li is an academician of China Engineering Academy, and a former professor at China Agricultural University. The judgment in Li’s case, which came out on Jan. 2 this year, stated that between 2008 and 2012, Li’s lab sold experimental pigs, cows, and milk to local markets. These animal and animal products were bought using research funds; but Li and his fellow colleagues pocketed the money, a total of 10,179,201 yuan ($1,460,304), from the sale of these animals and animal products.

Li was sentenced to 12 years in prison for embezzlement.

According to a 2016 report from the China Experimental Animal Information Network, Chinese researchers use tens of millions of laboratory animals every year. The Experimental Animal Research Center of Hubei Province alone handles about 300,000 animals a year, either for bioresearch experiments inside the center, or to be sold and distributed to other labs in Hubei Province.

Xu and many other Chinese netizens say they suspect that the novel coronavirus is a genetically engineered virus that somehow escaped from Wuhan P4 Biosafety lab.

A P4 lab handles level 4 biosafety pathogens, the highest level and most dangerous, which have high fatality rates and no known treatments, such as, the ebola and SARS viruses. Such a lab must follow the highest microbiological safety standards to ensure the safety of researchers and the public.

The P4 lab in Wuhan is not only the first of its kind in China, but also the first in Asia. When it opened in 2017, U.S. scientists expressed concerns that, considering China’s opaque administrative structure, if one of those killer viruses “escaped” from the lab, it could cause a doomsday disaster.

I am still monitoring whether the question of the origins of the virus are being questioned in the MSM and the only thing I came up with was a short article from the Washington Times suggesting it may have been released from a lab and many parrot the wet market story. That is all I found although there may be others. The only thing a internet search brought up was the Washington Times story and ,of course, alt news that we are supposed to ignore because they are "conspiracy theorists". Not a story about the number of scientists that state this virus was engineered, nothing. There was a time when journalists would have been all over this.

If you think about it, it really should be legitimate journalism to question where it came from. This speaks volumes to me. There seems to be a huge consensus in the US not to address the issue and that makes me really suspicious. You would think the US would take great pleasure in pointing the finger at the Chinese if this was thought to be accident. Why is there not a word? Who benefits from the silence? What are they hiding?

In contrast, we are fed a steady MSM diet of US political melodrama in reality show format to occupy our minds and distract us.

The above scenario is right out of a movie. Never forget, no matter what occurs, things like this do occur regularly on this planet. The survivors seem to survive and then strangely enough the population increases. The population actually increased mostly during WW2. Around 2.3 billion in 1940 and 2.5 billion in 1950. Big population increases after the Spanish Flu pandemic also.

Chen Quishi, the citizen journalist staking out Wuhan hospitals and crematoriums, is missing. Here he is...

Now he's disappeared. Go to 25:30 in Michael Gu's latest Boxmining.com video, in which Michael spots a video uploaded by Chen's mother, when Michael is live on air.

Chinese treat their dead with much respect. They prefer proper burial, though from some reading, especially in bigger cities lately, roughly half will choose cremation. Still, it strikes me as odd that they would let their dead be cremated in some whole sale crematorium where they could burn 100 bodies a day at full capacity. Weird things going on nowadays.

Trump talks speaks with XI and he say that the Chinese scientists say a scaly anteater could be coronavirus host.

President Trump tweeted on Friday morning he had "a long conversation" earlier in the day with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping regarding the state of coronavirus in the country — calling him "strong, sharp and powerful."

"[Xi Jinping is] focused on leading the counterattack on the Coronavirus. He feels they are doing very well, even building hospitals in a matter of only days," Trump wrote on Twitter Friday morning. "He will be successful, especially as the weather starts to warm & the virus hopefully becomes weaker and then gone."

For any med-geeks here, this new MedCram video does a good job of showing visually how the ACE2 issue operates, or might be operating.

ACE2 is Angiotensin-I-converting enzyme 2, and this is all about how the coronavirus attacks cells. (And therefore, how that attack might be inhibited.)

    --- snip ---
This accusation against Wuhan’s P4 lab doesn't make sense, because the 'Wuhan virus' binds onto human cells in a similar way as the SARS virus -- in other words the binding onto human cells was at least known since 2011. But the Wuhan P4 lab was inaugurated on Jan. 31 2015, a dozen years after the SARS epidemic.

This excellent interview appears to be very honest and informative.

Reporter's Notebook: Life and death in a Wuhan coronavirus ICU

    PUBLISHEDFEB 6, 2020, 4:40 PM SGT
Translated by Sun Huixia and Dave Yin
WUHAN (CAIXIN GLOBAL) - In the coronavirus epidemic, doctors on the front lines take on the greatest risk and best understand the situation. Dr Peng Zhiyong, director of acute medicine at the Wuhan University South Central Hospital, is one of those doctors.

In an interview on Tuesday with Caixin, Dr Peng described his personal experiences in first encountering the disease in early January and quickly grasping its virulent potential and the need for stringent quarantine measures.

As the contagion spread and flooded his ICU, the doctor observed that three weeks seemed to determine the difference between life and death. Patients with stronger immune systems would start to recover in a couple of weeks, but in the second week, some cases would take a turn for the worse.

In the third week, keeping some of these acute patients alive might require extraordinary intervention. For this group, the death rate seems to be 4 per cent to 5 per cent, Dr Peng said. After working his 12-hour daytime shifts, the doctor spends his evenings researching the disease and has summarised his observations in a thesis.

The doctors and nurses at his hospital are overwhelmed with patients. Once they don protective hazmat suits, they go without food, drink and bathroom breaks for their entire shifts. That's because there aren't enough of the suits for a mid-shift change, he said.

Over the past month on the front lines of the coronavirus battle, Dr Peng has been brought to tears many times when forced to turn away patients for lack of staffing and beds. He said what really got to him, though, was the death of an acutely ill pregnant woman when treatment stopped for lack of money - the day before the government decided to pick up the costs of all coronavirus treatments.

Here's our interview with the ICU doctor:

Bill, watch it once without the audio. The reactions of the people do not seem to reflect the dramatic audio. It could be added for sensational purpose. Please be cautious.

Mod note from Bill: I've removed the embedded Brighteon video (though the correct link is still there), to stop the video playing automatically when the thread is opened. My apologies, but we don't know how to disable that.

Really good point, AuCo. You are right. So much to discern, it is mind boggling.
