Researchers at Stanford University have said their data shows the U.S. is on track for a much faster recovery than some health experts are predicting. One America's Pearson Sharp has more.

I am still finding information that seems valuable for viral infection. Let's talk about herbals that have the exact same effect as antivirals chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine. They exist and are available.
Go to reddit to see it as there are many links.

    Discussion
You guys may have heard of the antivirals chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine, and their success in treating NCOV19 infection https://academic.oup.com/cid/advance...iaa237/5801998

The mechanism of action that is being discussed is the fact that they are zinc ionophores. Here's a doctor talking about it

    Chloroquine Is a Zinc Ionophore

We've all heard that Zinc can stop viral infection, i.e. help duration of colds and influenzas. However, most zinc in the body doesn't make it into the cells and past the cell wall.

Zinc ionophores shuttle zinc past the cell surface membrane, into the inner cell - where it can work it's magic in halting viral replication.

So what other supplements act as zinc ionophores?

Three over the counter herbals were tried in this study (paywall removed, thanks scihub) Two of their names are quercetin and epigallocatechin-gallate.

Both EGCG and quercetin showed high ionophore activity with zinc through flourescence.

In conclusion, we have demonstrated that QCT, EGCG, and CQ rapidly increase intracellular labile zinc in Hepa 1-6 cells and that they function as ionophores for zinc in a liposomal system.

And guess what? Quercetin is already being deployed for NCOV.

As coronavirus spread speeds up, Montreal researchers will trial an anti-viral treatment for COVID-19 in China is about to be tested

The broad spectrum anti-viral medicine known as quercetin has already proven successful at treating Ebola and Zika viruses, says Dr. Michel Chrétien, a researcher at the Clinical Research Institute of Montreal.

Now, he and co-researcher Majambu Mbikay are awaiting approval to send the drug to China where a clinical trial will test its effectiveness on COVID-19.

While Chrétien cautions against "false hope" saying that quercetin's effectiveness for treating COVID-19 must be proven, Mbikay is optimistic for its potential.

EGCG is an extract from green tea. Quercetin is a cheap supplement that's also available in veggies (in much lower doses). Both are on amazon.

If you research around, quercetin seems to show broad spectrum antiviral activity across the board. It's most likely due to this zinc ionophore activity.

Effect of Quercetin on Hepatitis C Virus Life Cycle: From Viral to Host Targets

Antiviral activity of four types of bioflavonoid against dengue virus type-2

Here is Ron Paul's take on COVID coronavirus:

On another note, I find it very interesting how the word "lockdown" has been used so much. It is a word that is most commonly used in relation to prisoners in that they are literally locked into their cells.

I don't know of any place in the US where people are not allowed to even go outside their homes such as is happening in Spain (not even in their back yards). This makes no sense since fresh air and sunshine are important for the immune system and a virus can't suddenly sprout legs or wings and jump over the fence or fly into your neighbor's yard.

So the word "lockdown" is not, by definition, applicable to the US and most areas in the world in this context. It makes me wonder if this buzz word has been implanted into the mainstream media intentionally. Welcome to the prison planet.

I’m not sure if this should be it’s own thread. I’m not sure how to start one. I want the reply’s to be just dedicated to people who are in the medical field or know people in the medical field that can post about what’s been going on in the hospitals. I thought it would be a good idea to try to see what’s progressing in real time in different locations.

My sister works in Zephyrhills Florida. She is reporting an increase in patients in her hospital. She works in a community with a big population of the elderly. This isn’t necessarily unusual during the flu season, but so far a bit more than usual. They are pretty busy. Elective surgeries are pushed back. The hospital is converting a certain section to be able to treat an influx of people presenting with pneumonia. At this time you can only use one entrance. Temperatures are taken for everyone who comes in. That includes family members. I will keep you posted if things get worse for her. Oh, and of course they do not have the masks and protective gear they need.

Stanford hospital in California has 25 on ventilators. That’s a bit more than normal. They are equipped to have 100. They are cutting back on elective surgery as well. Training for nurses to use the ER ventilators as they are different and currently the anesthesiologist can only use those.

Kaiser, Seton, and CPMC San Francisco is seeing an slight increase with flu/pneumonia patients. All three hospitals are planning where to put patients if it gets worse. It has been slow for all the nurses on other floors in these hospitals as less people are not coming in because they do not want to get sick. All three hospitals currently do not have the proper protective equipment

Thanks to any medical personnel that can contribute. I use to work in the medical field. These statements are all from nurses that I know and love. I will update every week as they report back to me.

    Love to all. Be safe♥️
a bit more than usual could very easily be attrributed to STRESS induced by the news, right?

Normally after a person has recovered from an infectious illness, they go back to work-- they cant infect anyone else.
So many have had this virus and recovered --why are they not allowed back to work?

    The solution is becoming clear:

Can someone make a case why we should trust information disseminated by WHO or anything they publish? Or by CDC for that matter?

I appreciate Chris Martenson's videos and believe he is earnest and sincere, but it would seem to me his achilles heal is an almost religious reliance on unvetted statistics from the WHO and CDC and his blind zealotry of the high priests of technocracy.

    I wish I wasn't so jaded, but I wouldn't trust the WHO to change my nine-year-old son's band-aid.

EDIT** My initial impression of this video--and resulting post--comes from the 10:22 mark, wherein CM seemingly founds his arguments on useless "pontification propaganda" from the Worth Health Organization, scolding the reader about information vs. misinformation. The WHO provides no supporting citation or evidence and assumes the reader should take their words as gospel, which is typically when I give up on an argument or presentation and shut it down; however, after revisiting the video and delving deeper it appears I misjudged Chris Martenson's point, which is essentially a similar criticism of WHO to the one I express above.

Below is summary of this video:
    • Asymptomatic speaders responsible for the majority of new cases
    • The WHO continues to pump out inexplicably bad communications and ought to be defunded
    • 86% of COVID-19 cases remain undocumented, which implies countries need to get 11% of population infected to achieve herd immunity, or 35 million for the US
    • Everyone shoud wear a mask to 1) stop symptomatic and asymptomatic spreaders 2) help us not touch our faces 3) contract the infection in small doses

It would be helpful to me, to avoid misconstruing content by skimming and overlooking useful information, for the poster to provide a bullet-point summary of any video she/he posts. There is so much information to wade through and as we all know things are changing by the hour...

That said, many thanks for the post. Warm Regards, T Smith

I think the Belarusian president has been looking at some of the posts on this thread!

Quote Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has laughed off the suggestion that his country should try to stem the spread of the coronavirus, because he can't see the virus "flying around".
Speaking to a TV reporter at an indoor ice hockey match, he also claimed that crowds at the match were fine because the coldness of the stadium would prevent the virus from spreading.
There is no evidence that this could be the case and the coronavirus cannot be seen with the naked eye.
Unlike most of Europe, Belarus has not placed any restrictions on sports events.

"There are no viruses here," Mr Lukashenko said. "You haven't seen them flying around, have you? I don't see them either! This is a fridge. Sport, particularly the ice, this fridge here, that's the best antiviral cure!"
“One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious. The latter procedure, however, is disagreeable and therefore not popular.” (Carl Jung)

Let's look at India with a population of 1.3 billion people. They have allegedly had 27 deaths due to Covid-19, yet their Prime Minister just declared a lockdown of the entire country, closing businesses and telling people to stay home for three weeks.

Approximately 660,000 people die each year in India due to the seasonal flu.
Contrast that to 27 people who have died so far from Covid-19.
It just doesn’t make any sense at all.

Have a look at this sad article:

Friendly mod note from Bill: You might want to edit your post (and do by all means remove this note from me, as well) if you watch the whole video!
yep, i feel the same way, bill for some reason is drunk on the same spell too..
