Default Did anyone seem to catch Covid-19 in October—December last year?

Last October (mid month) I came down with 'something' that completely wiped me out for a good couple of weeks (3 weeks in total till fully back to normal)

Starting with general malaise, aching joints/body and then a temperature that peaked that high for about 24 hours I was shaking uncontrollably (only eased slightly for a short while after painkillers)

Then came the cough, but not like your normal cold cough. It wasn't productive, no phlegm, no sinus issues. Just this cough that came suddenly and took your breathe. If i was lay Id have to sit up to breathe, if I was stood Id have to lean or hold something as my whole body convulsed and couldn't get a full breathe in or out.

Just moving made breathing hard. Never experienced a cold or flu like this. I described it at the time as more of a bronchial virus than flu. I felt that bad for one 24hr period I ordinarily would have gone the hospital, but I was aware there was a bed shortage at the time and knew it was pointless bothering.

Fast forward to this January and I was instantly wary about the official story coming out of China as soon as I started to hear the symptoms.

As the months have gone by, I am now 99.9% convinced Covid19 didn't start in China in November/December 2019 as I had it here in the UK in mid October.

I passed this onto a good friend (who also agrees this was Covid19) who then passed it around work. It certainly spread like wildfire during Nov/Dec.
I've also friends and acquaintances who had this during the Christmas period. In total I know 5 people first hand who had this and say they are convinced also it was Covid. Meanwhile I have read multiple friends of theirs who also experienced it agree too.

There does seem to be a handful of differing shared posts doing the rounds on Facebook saying much the same.

Its been on my mind to post this for a few weeks, but after reading other people stating the same theory and experience as myself, I feel confident enough to say its my honest opinion that the official narrative given on Covid19 isn't true and that it certainly didn't start in Nov/Dec in China.

    Locations and dates are;
    Merseyside - Mid October
    Manchester - November
    Lancashire/Liverpool - December

I've heard possibly other members of the forum may have also had this towards the end of last year? It would be interesting to see can we correlate the data into a timeline and map?

My neighbour flew to Dubai late October, came home in early November very ill, dreadful cough, sweating, doctors couldn’t figure out his affliction. His wife got it, but not so seriously. They stayed in, refused help, and eventually got well. I gave food over the fence. They possibly had this virus then. Makes sense.

My oldest brother who NEVER goes ANYWHERE, he just plods away daily at his 'under the arches' car service business, went down with something horrific in November/December last year. He's in Shropshire. It went on for weeks and when he told me about at the beginning of this year he spoke like a man who'd gone through the London Blitz.

This comment may not totally belong on this thread. High octane speculation, as Joseph Farrell would say. And do please note that this might be quite wrong.

But I'm increasingly suspicious that just as one starts a bonfire by lighting kindling in various places at once all round the fire pit, and sometimes it 'catches' and sometimes it doesn't, this may have been what happened in various locations worldwide towards the end of last year.

If so, that suggests three things:
    1. It seems that it 'caught' in China, and didn't really start anything elsewhere.
    2. It suggests that there may still be new outbreaks being 'sown' periodically, or at least encouraged.
    3. It has to be possible that the arsonists may not be willing to let this major fire be extinguished.

There's several hundred known different corona viruses, and some of them give you the common cold, and some of them give severe respiratory illness and can cause death.

You can probably chalk up all the respiratory illness related deaths that aren't flu and not initially pneumonia, as various corona viruses. I know of several people who have died in the last few years in Canada due to a "mystery" respiratory illness, that was tested and confirmed not influenza. Corona virus is the very next likely suspect, but probably not COVID-19.

None of this is really new, just something that most people don't realize, because of the constant overemphasis of the "flu" and any bad respiratory illness is instantly blamed on "the flu".

Health Canada says up to "8000" people die from "the flu" every year, yet usually only a couple hundred of actually tested cases occur. The remainder (or rather, other actual deaths) may well be various other corona viruses, that they just call "flu deaths", so that big pharma has more leverage into scaring you into getting the flu shot.

Also if you ever got the flu shot and still came down with something nasty ... it may have been a corona virus.

Yes! We're in Devon, Uk. My partner had a similar experience back in December - a week before Christmas. It was a 'stinking' cold, with persistent cough & a it of a high temperature. He had it for approx. two weeks and although it wasn't flu, it did wipe him out a little it. He's okay now, but the cough still persists. He swears it may have been Covid.

This makes total sense as to why there is such big, virulent clusters in certain places and yet nothing or very little in others. When by now every major city in the world should be inundated to breaking point.

Yes, I described it in detail in the main Wuhan thread. Ours started last day in Jan. We were exposed to international travelers. Tests for flus were negative. The cough (very dry) is still lingering for me as well as a little chest pain and my older daughter is still using an inhaler they gave her at the hospital.

I love David! just finished watching it. He really comes into his own re relevant info from an hour into the video (2hrs long) His 'solution' is brilliant & its the only thing that will pull us through & out the other side.....if enough of us engage with it.

I’ve just finished watching this now. He pretty much connected all the dots for me. It’s not a nice situation we find ourselves in, but totally agree his solution is the only way forward. No fear, stay calm! Oh...and use newspapers as toilet roll along with CNN and the BBC where possible 😆👌🏼

Quote Chinese woman who tests POSITIVE for the corona virus is seen intentionally SPITTING into the Woolworths vegetable section to spread the virus to her host country...
Please share what these disgusting chinks are doing to our country and people far and wide over normie web.

    ….

I typed this into Google and stories from Thailand Spain UK...all came up Chinese people spitting stuff on purpose. This video is unclear whether it was same lady and the audio had most likely been added after the fact though as well. So idk what's going on.

Well this is an interesting thread that I didn't see earlier. Here's a part of something I posted in the Covid-19 Contrarian thread:

    --------------------------------------
"... I had my own run-in with an extremely virulent flu last year, just around this time. It began at the end of March last year and lasted through at least mid-May. I felt just overall lousy for a week or so, and then the extreme fatigue set in. Next came a severe sore throat, high fever and the wracking cough began. Deep chills, to the bone. In every way I have heard, what I had last year sounds exactly like this new Covid-19. The shortness of breath I experienced was quite alarming. I could barely walk to the kitchen and stand up long enough to cook myself a meal. Not an exaggeration. I am normally pretty stoic when it comes to illness.

If I were a normal person, I would have gone to the emergency room and probably been hospitalized with a ventilator and a glucose drip, etc. But for me, I would actually rather die than do that. And I really, genuinely thought I might die. I tried every conceivable herbal or supplemental treatment I had on hand and nothing worked. And I have been treating myself, successfully, for a number of years with my own knowledge of herbs, supplements and homeopathy. Absolutely nothing worked. What I finally ended up doing was going to a Chinese herbalist in a nearby city. For me, this is what worked. It took me a long time to recover and for the shortness of breath to heal, but this ancient, traditional herbal medicine was the turning point for me."
    ----------------------------

This was a year ago, just about exactly. Was it as DeDukshyn says, just another version of the standard, sometimes lethal coronavirus, or as Bill suggested, were "they" testing their bioweapon and I happened to be an unlucky target? Maybe the version I had wasn't contagious enough for them - it took them a year of tweaking to get it right.

Whatever it was I had last year, it was not like anything else I've ever had before.

All reports indicate this is a novel virus that no one has built up immunity for. With that said though many have gotten it, got sick and gotten over it just fine. I believe my best friend here had it. We were worried about him for a bit there. He got it from his brother. Came to visit still somewhat sick but getting over it by then. April and I got just a slight fever and itchy throat the next day and after that it was gone the next. We never thought anything of it but it did wave around to various people. My neighbor had it with all the same symptoms. I remember finding it interesting that it barely slowed April or me down at all but completely floored Carol our neighbor. Sam was sick and sniffling and wheezing badly which he never did but it didn't cause him to go to the hospital. I think he had it a total of four days and it was gone with him. Carol on the other hand is part native American Indian and it lasted for nearly three weeks and floored her like nothing we've seen. In all the time we have lived next door we've never had to take her paper and mail in, take her trash to the street and so on for her she was always very self sufficient. More and more I keep reading reports that it does not seem to hammer O blood types as badly as it does the A and B. The A blood type people are getting really hit hard with it from what I've seen. If you have that type blood for sure stay inside I would say. .

I talked to a guy yesterday who said in January he'd got over a 4-month cough, with no other symptoms. I think that's how they're describing covid19.

4 months seems very excessive for symptoms; though maybe it was a "re-occurrence"?

I was not diagnosed but it was around 3 weeks for me MAR 02 - 25 roughly.
