    Well, this was a fun one. The last one we felt was I guess about 4 years ago and it felt much different. It shook at a faster frequency.

    This one felt like being in a boat--slow rocking from side to side. My hanging lamps swung back and forth, east/west. Nothing fell off the shelves.

    Yes, this is quite unusual for our area. I've lived most of my life in the Pacific Northwest and this is the second earthquake that I have experienced. I'm about fifty miles north of Coeur d'Alene.
