Hi, Bill. I'm going to add.. This man is not only taking down the barriers, he is also Turning the Tables,,, Literally! I feel that he is more disgusted at the fact that the Movement has turned into a homeless encampment, rather than a genuine movement. I feel his pain. Cal Anderson park is Beautiful.. downtown Seattle is Beautiful. This experiment has gone awful. And everyone knows it. I've spent lots of time at that park,,, and all of the other Beautiful parks in Seattle..they have been overrun with homelessness and DRUGGED out filth for so long nobody EVEN NOTICES anymore. If there IS a genuine progressive movement that doesn't end in violent rioting and looting, homelessness, etc.. then someone please let me know... let us all know. I feel this guys pain...

• A 16-year-old boy died and a 14-year-old boy was wounded after being shot at Seattle's CHOP zone Monday.
• Police said they are investigating after witnesses reported seeing a white Jeep SUV near a makeshift barrier around the Capitol Hill Organized Protest (CHOP) zone at about 3am on Monday just before the shooting.
• Witnesses told 911 dispatchers that they saw several unidentified people firing shots into the Jeep, police say.
• Both teenagers, who have not been publicly identified, were taken to the Harborview Medical Center in a private vehicle by people who identified themselves as 'CHOP medics'.
• The older boy died several hours later and police said the 14-year-old remains in a critical condition.
• Detectives searched the vehicle for evidence on Monday morning but said in a statement that it was clear the crime scene had been 'disturbed'.
• Demonstrators have occupied several blocks around the Seattle Police Department's East Precinct for about two weeks.
• Protesters have claimed the shooting unfolded only after the vehicle plowed into the CHOP zone and those inside the car started shooting .

Quiet with the assumptions. I'm stating FACT. I've been in their shoes,, in that same park.. I endured. It's a CHOICE to live like that. A CHOICE. These folks are NOT victims. They choose to live like this. And that's their right. Jump on a sanctimonious high horse if you must. I reincarnated in THIS life with the same challenges these folks have. I've slept on those streets, in that park, been mugged stabbed, pissed on, NOT NOT NOT by cops. You may know of some helpless folks who would agree to and benefit from genuine HELP. These folks are NOT them. I know with 100% certainty that folks just want break **** and get HIGH.

Try to not speak of what you clearly DONT know.

If I'm wrong, show me... Go into the Capital Hill Independent Territory.. (C.H.I.T.) tell me how turning 7 blocks of downtown into a garbage dump helps.

A few days ago one of my sisters, who lives in Portland, Oregon (where there's been similar goings on), was driving down a narrow residential street in the city after helping her adult son who lived nearby.

She heard a scraping noise and her car window had hit an open car door. A couple men were down in the back, looked like they were cleaning the car. Immediately they sprang up and started yelling at her that she had hit them deliberately because they were black (she couldn't even see them prior). They screamed at her and threatened to turn her in for hit and run even though she was there cooperating. She gave her information but they refused to give theirs. She said they seemed to have accents, couldn't tell where, not US born. Someone also popped out of a nearby window and yelled ''black lives matter!"

She was terrified and confused, but fortunately her son was driving by and intervened to calm things. Later talking to the insurance company she was told it was a rental car from Enterprise out of Everett, Washington (a city north of Seattle, there's also a small airport there too). She said she had the sense they weren't just ''regular'' people visiting, but some kind of organization.

Seattle's mayor is attempting to dismantle the thing since the protest showed up at her house.

Her house is supposed to be undisclosed since she has been a federal attorney.

"The stunt led the mayor to denounce Councilmember Kshama Sawant, a socialist who has joined forces with the protesters. Durkan has now asked the council to investigate Sawant over allowing protesters into City Hall earlier this month, encouraging the occupation of the East Precinct to begin with, and finally leading the protesters to Durkan’s residence."

The socialist responds with a few "isms" telling us to x out the standard factors and give our money to the Green New Deal.

Now it is easier to see the actual size of the protest. It is minuscule. It was only by the conflated reporting of the media that blew it way out of proportion that made it seem like a whirlwind of a grassroots uprising. But those that showed up were the trouble makers, the partiers, and the fanatics. Also it is telling that even at their own uprising, blacks seem to be outnumbered by white protestors. What's up with that? Is this really a black movement?

Funny how while the safety of her constituents were at risk the 'summer of love' was to be tolerated but when they came knocking on her door suddenly it is a dangerous situation that must be stopped.

SEATTLE (AP) — A 27-year-old man drove a white Jaguar onto a closed freeway in Seattle early Saturday and barreled through a panicked crowd of protesters, injuring two women, officials said.

Dawit Kelete of Seattle drove the car around vehicles that were blocking Interstate 5 and sped into the crowd at about 1:40 a.m., according to a police report released by the Washington State Patrol. Video taken at the scene by protesters showed people shouting “Car! Car!” before fleeing the roadway.

Summer Taylor, 24, of Seattle and Diaz Love, 32, of Bellingham were in critical condition with multiple injuries, according to Harborview Medical Center spokeswoman Susan Gregg.

Love was filming the protest in a nearly two-hour-long Facebook livestream captioned “Black Femme March takes I-5” when the video ended abruptly; with about 15 seconds left, shouts of “Car!” can be heard as the camera starts to shake before screeching tires and the sound of impact are heard. The Associated Press could not immediately reach her.

Video on social media showed the car striking two people.

The driver was in custody, Washington State Patrol Capt. Ron Mead said. Charges had not been filed as of Saturday morning.

Officials were trying to determine the motive as well as point of entry onto the interstate. Mead said Kelete was suspected to have driven the wrong way on a ramp. Mead said troopers did not know whether it was a targeted attack, but impairment was not considered a factor.
