Kind of feel like we’re nitpicking the wrong things here though.
You may have seen my thread then.

Constance, you know this is what I’ve been about since I first started speaking in this space. We need to rise above it all and see the agendas and biases of BOTH sides. This situation has moved beyond BLM and is fast becoming a movement for anyone who feels disenfranchised and rightly so. Do I condone or advocate violence riots and violence? No. Do I understand why people resort to riots and violence? Absolutely. The thing is, unless you are actually in Portland, I don’t think any of us know what is exactly going on because ALL forms of media have their own agendas, but from the videos being shared on social media, unarmed people are being kidnapped by people who refuse to identify themselves, who refuse to state why you’re being taken or where you’re being taken to. The men in this video did not even speak.

Everything everyone in this forum is afraid of happening is happening except none of you care because it’s not happening to you or to your people.

But but but Antica. But but but Soros. But but but socialists. But but but BLM. But but but whatever.

None of this matters anymore. US citizens are being kidnapped and transported to who knows where.

Get over your cognitive dissonance and start looking at this objectively.

When lockdown first happened, armed men stormed a state capitol building. As far as I am aware, those men weren’t even arrested. They definitely weren’t taken away by military police and taken to who knows where.

It’s time to put politics aside. Your being shown what happens if you dissent, given that most of you are dissenters of one kind or another I thought you find this more worrisome.

Sounds like an Obama quote “wrong side of history”....

None of us are really standing on any side, we don’t support tyrannical govt, neither do we support rioters.

The mainstream media goes all out psycho yelling about injustices of whisking away fire setting, explosives throwing rioters, while the peaceful protestors protesting about the “wrong” things (in the mainstream narrative), get rounded up quietly from their homes, without a peep from the mainstream news.

The video you shared was from Australia, where I live, no one was rounded up from their homes. A police officer came to the house to ask their name in order to issue a citation. The person refused to give their name and the officers left.

The mainstream media have reported on the riots non stop. No idea where you’re getting your news from but the media has been far more focussed on the violent nature of the protestors than the many many incidences of peaceful protests. Why? Because it sells. Drama sells. The majority of the media is focussed on making money through sensationalising issues and ensuring you are firmly indoctrinated in the status quo, capitalism good, individualism good, division good, blah blah blah. Even the most left wing outlets only pay lip service to left wing social and economic issues. The Project, a supposedly left wing commentary show here in Australia are against collectivism, unionism and treat every issue as a bipartisan one. Why? Because they’re funded by the elite. Left wing media is an illusion.

Being against the military occupation of a country and standing against the forcible arrest by unidentified military police does not mean supporting rioters or even protestors.

Can’t believe I’m having to say any of this here.

I live in Portland. Argue the fine points all you want. Every night bands of violent criminals roam the streets long after any peaceful protest has been complete. They have smashed windows, defaced buildings, looted stores, set fires, attacked citizens and police and then tried to cry victim if anyone retaliates or tries to protect property. They are thugs and cowards of the most violent sort. Portland has always had a subset of tough violent street “kids” even before the riots happened. These people are absolutely dangerous, and are actually the real Naizs. Try to disagree with them and see what happens.

I don’t understand your point? Who is suffering? I don’t see how this relates to people being dragged away by military police when there are legal processes in place for people who commit crime in the US.

The relentless bombardment of hurling projectiles and shattering glass really fills me with a sense of serenity.

Tom Luongo touched on the arrests of the “Marxist Revolutionaries” by the police in his latest ‘Market Report’. He sees it as a savvy political move by Trump, let the anarcho-communists hang themselves with their own rope as they prove to the world how destructive their agenda is, then round up the leaders of the ‘violent rioters’ causing the leaderless mob to eventually fizzle out. He also says how Trump is making plans to shut down US presence in Afghanistan, so expect more deep state sanctioned mobs to spring up causing chaos around the US as the election cycle draws closer.

    ======
    Description:
It looks like we're seeing a turn in Donald Trump's strategy to beat back the forces arrayed against him. Trump, as a gut with nothing left to lose, used his excellent sense of the news cycle this week to begin deploying federal troops to war-torn Portland, OR. This has put Pelosi et.al. in the position of calling him a Nazi for doing waht the city and state governments refuse to do. This will play well in Trump states, shoring up his base, while also letting the swing states know that there is a limit to how far this anti-police/anti-white people/anti-America virus will spread.

But, he did this after allowing enough time to pass to prove to anyone watching that this was beyond time to get involved.

At the same time, Trump is setting up for a full pullout from Afghanistan which is again setting him at odds with a hated Congress, on both sides of the aisle, proving to normies the country over, the dysfunction in Washington isn't him, it's them.

Smart politics this week from Trump. Meanwhile the EU dithers like it always does just before it does something incredibly tyrannical and stupid.

Another night, another riot of violence and attempted arson.

Innocent, non-violent 'protestors' trying to burn down the Federal Courthouse with law enforcement humans inside.

Cool story bro, I have friends in Portland too, plus, there’s this thing called the internet.

No ideology from me here my friends, the US is being transformed into a police state and militarised. The only ideology being espoused is from RWNJs who predicted this would happen and now don’t care because it’s not happening to them.

    This forum is a joke.

    I’m out.

I had to use that thing called the internet to see what this meant.

    Right-wing nut jobs

You don't have to be that to be (or not be) aware that the US is and has been in the process of being transformed and militarily-industrial-complex violated - from 1947 National Security Act, JFK removal, MKULTRA nazi-influenced mind-control testing and implementation, beefing up local forces with all kiind of equipment, etc.

In my view terrorizing and injuring/killing innocent citizens and burning down the federal law institutions is not going to gain the support to fix these issues - creating citizen awareness of what has been hidden from them and waking them up has the best chance to succeed in the long run.

Hope you find the community you seek.

The hardest blind spot to identify is our own. I found Jane's blind spot fascinating and I enjoyed reading most of her posts because of that. It was teaching me a bit more about how to identify my own.

"RWNJ" could have cracked me up laughing, but instead, I feel a mix of sad and disappointment.

I felt exactly the same about these blindspot(s), really very fascinating, and good follow-up point. I would've been unable to articulate it as well as you just did, norman, and with such brevity.

I feel she was looking for some emotional support for the rioters... it's difficult to give that when you see them doing things like this.
