Default Math and Science in The Simpsons :)

Many will be very well aware that The Simpsons is replete with very clever and sometimes easily-missed, obscure little references to all kinds of fascinating things. It's renowned for the high intelligence that seems to flow as an undercurrent through its creative storylines.

    Here's why.

In this short fun video, mathematician and author Steven Singh starts with Homer's references to Fermat's Last Theorem, and at 2:40 makes the big reveal: a whole bunch of The Simpsons creators and writers have math and physics backgrounds. They're super-smart people, and it shows. Enjoy.

In many ways high level showbiz magic and math magic are on the same wavelength.

Even if I'm not quite agree that 1+1=2,but a bigger 1 and not having good math skills, perhaps the following video will shed a new light on how math should be learned and it works also with big numbers.

    We have to think different.

It is very interesting how we can get lost near a lack and a completion simultaneously, on the threshold of the relevant illogical.
Mathematics has advanced with the human spirit, so sometimes, when I see a human nature it is as if the rest of the actions are an unseen rhythm behind fragmented mathematical sequences that complete the depth of a logic near a resultant. When I say that the human soul is finite, the controversy of indefiniteness occurs in an amalgam of oscillations of gradations and levels occurring on both lexically calibrated sides.

I see a kind of mathematics in any stable but inappropriate definition that accumulates beneficial data and ideas (but not for reason), but especially in the transcendental logos of art that includes human nature.
What we accumulate in resonance is processed (only sometimes) (at least that's how I feel) at a behavioral level of stretching and vibratory energy calculated in the somewhat programmed-involuntary-interpretative soul chord, originally granted in its own harmony, by capturing angles and mirrors in multiple patterns depending on maybe,
the ancestral history (not borrowed as a human necessity) and more, but overall it's just art

Sentiment can be a chemical process of mathematical fusion, but its multiplication in valued or devalued probabilities exceeds any rational aspiration or any irrational reason, so conceiving the soul as unreasonable can be a calculation of fatally favored or disadvantaged probabilities (of course the introduction can be boring), it's like choosing an expression of too raw a seemingly vital behavior.
But if we consider soulless reasoning, it may be the opposite analysis of one's own choice in rather hasty conclusions in counteracting a controversial epic analogy in itself and more.
Of course, sometimes reason disperses time and sometimes reveals values and feelings in an endless encyclopedia, but the philosophical, moral or even social summation cannot be integrated, assembled or reproduced by just the first sensors of understanding.
I'm not talking about matrix, numerology or other three-dimensional demonstrative processes, I'm talking about the indispensability of the evolution of human nature so subtle, dynamic, biometric, anatomical-intellectual, cooperating-systemic-millennial in fusion of freedom, in all its beauty.

Providence of the greatest nothing, lives through us the creation of our own properties in proportionally demonstrable variables, in structures correlated in the biorhythmic approach of art, in the immediate vicinity of the abstract in a great controversial direction of eternities in full beauty, especially when we say we live to die and we die to evolve, perhaps one of the thousands of flourishes metamorphosed into the "extrahumanization" of timeless ages.

    Just,

And all this to be just human.

That trick with multiplying I will remember, I hope.

I can use that a dozen times a day in my work, and at home on my projects.

    Thanks.

This is how math and the other pure sciences should be taught. First the theory but followed quickly by real world uses and applications. To keep the student interested and engaged, feeling like they have accomplished something useful.

Is it this math and physics background that allows them to predict the future beyond the point of coincidence?

One of the problems with math in the Simpsons Universe is that the characters there only have 4 fingers — like all cartoon characters.

That suggests that in their evolution, arithmetic would have developed in base 8, not base 10 (as with 5-fingered, real-world humans). For them, the numbers 8 and 9 wouldn't exist. To show that clearly, their finger-counting would naturally go
    • 1
    • 2
    • 3
    • 4
    • 5
    • 6
    • 7 (one short of the final finger)
    • 10 (the final finger of both hands)
    • 11 (starting again)
    • 12
    • 13
    • 14
    • 15
    • 16
    • 17
    • 20
    • 21
    • ... etc.

Why do you think Oppenheimer studied Sanskrit while working on the A bomb/Manhattan Project ? What other information is encoded in the ancient texts ?

Since the entire video is in one of Indian languages,I presume that he said:
Quote when i read this artical ,its very impressive openion about ancient hindu mythology.
there is lot science in vedas.
A Sloka in the 10th book of Rig Veda appears to be written for praising Lord Indra. The technical translation of that Sloka gives the value of Pi up to 28 digits accurately. It is not until the invention of the computers that the western mathematicians could get this value up to 16 digits accurately. Here is a test for those who think that a computer can do any calculation. Use the fastest computer available to you and write a program to calculate the value of Pi up to 28 digits accurately. You will know how difficult it is.

Vedic Numerical Code in the Vedas

In Sanskrit, the following Vedic Numerical code was used in many slokas

    कादि नव

    टादि नव

    पादि पञ्चक

    यद्यश- ्टक

    क्ष शुन्यम्

    “Kaadi nava

    Taadi nava

    Paadi panchaka

    Yadyashtaka

    Kshah sunyam”

    Meaning:

Kaadi Nava Starting from ka, the sequence of 9 letters represent 1,2,..9

Similarly Taadi Nava , starting from ta

Paadi panchaka (1-5), starting from pa

    Yadyashtaka (1-8) starting from ya

    And ksha represents 0

In detail it is as follows:

    ka (क) – 1, kha (ख) – 2, ga (ग) – 3, gha (घ) – 4,gna (ङ) – 5, cha (च) – 6, cha (छ) – 7, ja (ज) – 8, jha (झ) – 9

    ta (ट) – 1, tha (ठ) – 2, da (ड) – 3, dha (ढ) – 4,~na (ण) – 5, Ta (त) – 6, Tha (थ) – 7, Da (द) – 8, Dha (ध) – 9

    pa (प) – 1, pha (फ) – 2, ba (ब) – 3, bha (भ) – 4,ma (म) – 5

    ya (य) – 1, ra (र) – 2, la (ल) – 3, va (व) – 4, Sa (श) – 5, sha (ष) – 6, sa (स) – 7, ha (ह) – 8

    kshah (क्ष) – 0.

Based on this code there are many slokas in mathematics., e.g., the following is a sloka for Pi value:

    गोपीभाग्- य मधुव्रातः श्रुंगशोदध- ि संधिगः |

    खलजीवितखा- ाव गलहाला रसंधरः ||

    gopeebhaagya maDhuvraathaH shruMgashodhaDhi saMDhigaH

    khalajeevithakhaathaa- va galahaalaa rasaMDharaH

    ga-3, pa-1, bha-4, ya -1, ma-5, Dhu-9, ra-2, tha-6, shru-5, ga-3, sho-5, dha-8, Dhi -9, sa-7, Dha- 9, ga-3, kha-2, la-3, jee-8, vi-4, tha-6, kha-2, tha-6, va-4, ga-3, la-3, ha-8, la-3, ra-2, sa-7, Dha-9, ra-2

    3.141592653589793238462643- 3832792…

The above sloka has actually 3 meanings

    1. In favor of Lord Shiva

    2. In favor of Lord Krishna

    3. The value of Pi up to 32 decimals.

There were many inventions in the field of science and technology in ancient India, we just have to sift through the sands of time to find them.

otherwise I don't have any clue of what he is saying.Sorry.
