Five South Koreans die after getting flu shots, stirring coronavirus vaccine fears

Five people have died after getting flu shots in South Korea in the past week, authorities said, raising concerns over the vaccine’s safety just as the seasonal inoculation programme is expanded to head off potential Covid-19 complications, which include a 17-year-old boy and a man in his 70s.

AstraZeneca shares turned negative after a Brazilian health authority said a volunteer in its coronavirus vaccine study died.
The Federal University of Sao Paulo, which is helping coordinate late-stage trials in Brazil, separately said that the volunteer was Brazilian, according to Reuters.
The news comes as the Food and Drug Administration still has a late-stage clinical trial from AstraZeneca on hold in the United States.

    --------

Now fake news is kicking into high gear over this claiming that this volunteer took a placebo. This about it - who ever dies from a placebo? That's right, only in the fake news world this happens.

    --------

Let's continue to pray that all these so called "vaccine" trials are fully exposed for what they are - complete and utter fraud all for the sake of installing the mark of the beast (ID2020) into everyone.

AstraZeneca Halts COVID-19 Vaccine Trials after Second Volunteer "Develops Neurological problems"

The second volunteer suddenly started saying "They've killed God; I can't feel God anymore - my Soul is dead" after the vaccine.
AstraZeneca revealed details of its large coronavirus vaccine trials on Saturday, the third in a wave of rare disclosures by drug companies under pressure to be more transparent about how they are testing products that are the world’s best hope for ending the pandemic.

The release comes after a second vaccine test volunteer "Developed neurological problems." According to sources who claim to be familiar with the vaccine trials, the second volunteer suddenly started saying "They've killed God; I can't feel God anymore - my Soul is dead" after the vaccine.

Polls are finding Americans increasingly wary of accepting a coronavirus vaccine. And scientists inside and outside the government are worried that regulators, pressured by the president for results before Election Day on Nov. 3, might release an unproven or unsafe vaccine.

“The release of these protocols seems to reflect some public pressure to do so,” said Natalie Dean, a biostatistician and expert in clinical trial design for vaccines at the University of Florida. “This is an unprecedented situation, and public confidence is such a huge part of the success of this endeavor.”

Experts have been particularly concerned about AstraZeneca’s vaccine trials, which began in April in Britain, because of the company’s refusal to provide details about serious neurological illnesses in two participants, both women, who received its experimental vaccine in Britain. Those cases spurred the company to halt its trials twice, the second time earlier this month. The studies have resumed in Britain, Brazil, India and South Africa, but are still on pause in the U.S. About 18,000 people worldwide have received AstraZeneca’s vaccine so far.

AstraZeneca’s 111-page trial blueprint, known as a protocol, states that its goal is a vaccine with 50 percent effectiveness — the same threshold that the Food and Drug Administration has set in its guidance for coronavirus vaccines. To determine with statistical confidence whether the company has met that target, there will have to be 150 people ill with confirmed coronavirus among participants who were vaccinated or received placebo shots.

However, the plan anticipates that a safety board will perform an early analysis after there have been just 75 cases. If the vaccine is 50 percent effective at that point, it might be possible for the company to stop the trial early and apply for authorization from the government to release the vaccine for emergency use.

The company did not immediately inform the public about the neurological problems of either participant. Nor did it promptly alert the F.D.A. that it was again pausing its trials after the second U.K. volunteer developed illness and an independent safety board called for a temporary halt, according to multiple people familiar with the situation. The company’s chief executive told investors about the problems but did not discuss them publicly until the information was leaked and reported by STAT.

There are several articles available with varying casualties, this first one finds 36 dead, the following states 25. As usual, authorities can find no link between the deaths and vaccines.

We know that aspirin and antibiotics have side effects, Acetaminophen and benzodiazepines have side effects that can be very dangerous or deadly. All medications have side effects that can be short term and mild to those that re extreme, even causing blindness, cancer and more, even death.

It seems, however, to be implied by governments and the vaccine industry that vaccines are the only drugs that do not have any side effects, they're safe and effective, and many within the population believe this. They're also the only drugs that are required and forced upon some populations and soon to be forced upon many more.

Deaths rattle South Korea's seasonal flu vaccination, but authority presses ahead with free scheme

South Korea sticks to flu vaccine plan despite safety fears after 25 die

SEOUL: South Korean officials refused on Thursday (Oct 22) to suspend a seasonal influenza inoculation effort, despite growing calls for a halt, including an appeal from a key group of doctors, after the deaths of at least 25 of those vaccinated.

Health authorities said they found no direct links between the deaths and the vaccines.

At least 22 of the dead, including a 17-year-old boy, were part of a campaign to inoculate 19 million teenagers and senior citizens for free, the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) said.

"The number of deaths has increased, but our team sees low possibility that the deaths resulted from the shots," the agency's director, Jeong Eun-kyeong, told parliament.

South Korea ordered a fifth more flu vaccines this year to ward off what it calls a "twindemic", or the prospect that people with flu develop coronavirus complications and overburden hospitals in winter.

"I understand and regret that people are concerned about the vaccine," said Health Minister Park Neung-hoo said, who confirmed the free programme would go ahead.

"We're looking into the causes but will again thoroughly examine the entire process in which various government agencies are involved, from production to distribution."

Vaccine providers include domestic firms such as GC Pharma, SK Bioscience, Korea Vaccine and Boryung Biopharma, a unit of Boryung Pharm, along with France's Sanofi.

They supply both the free programme and paid services that together aim to vaccinate about 30 million of a population of 52 million.

Of the 25 dead, 10 received products from SK Bioscience, 5 each from Boryung and GC Pharma, one from Korea Vaccine and four from Sanofi.

All four domestic firms declined to comment, while Sanofi did not immediately reply to requests for comment.

It was not immediately clear if any of the vaccines made in South Korea were exported, or if those supplied by Sanofi were also being used elsewhere.

The Korean Medical Association, an influential grouping of doctors, urged the government to halt all inoculation programmes for now, to allay public concerns and ensure the vaccines were safe.

Kim Chong-in, leader of the main opposition People Power party, wanted the programme halted until the causes of the deaths were verified.

But health authorities have said a preliminary investigation into six deaths found no direct link to the vaccines, with no toxic substances uncovered.

KDCA data on Thursday showed at least seven of the nine people it investigated had underlying conditions.

    EARLIER SUSPENSION

The free programme has proved controversial since it began last month. The launch had been suspended for three weeks after the discovery that about 5 million doses were kept at room temperature rather than being refrigerated, as required.

Officials said 8.3 million people had been inoculated since the programme resumed on Oct 13, with about 350 cases of adverse reactions reported.

A separate paid programme allows buyers to pick from a larger pool of firms that make free vaccines and others.

The most deaths in South Korea linked to seasonal flu vaccinations was six in 2005, the Yonhap news agency said. Officials have said comparisons to previous years are tough, since more people are taking the vaccine this year.

Kim Myung-suk, 65, is among a growing number of South Koreans who decided to pay for a vaccine of their choice, despite being eligible for a free dose.

"Though just a few people died so far, the number is growing and that makes me uneasy," she told Reuters in the capital, Seoul. "So I'm getting a shot somewhere else and will pay for it."
