    Default Strange Dreams

    Hello,

I've been a shy reader of this Forum for a long time but now the time has come for me to make my first post

I would love to have some input on a couple of Dreams I had recently.

    1. This is not a Dream really but I'm not sure I was totally awake even though I thought I was.

Early morning of august 17 I woke up from the alarm on my phone. Snoozed it and was just lying with eyes open and trying to wake up (hence why I believe I was somewhat awake). Then from nowhere I heard this mans voice and it sounded like it came from the back of my head (and inside my head) very loud and clear, saying: Don't collab! Me with Ne! The last part sounded "mee with nee". It just got me jumping out of bed, both a bit scared and puzzled. First phrase sounded like an order and the last part like a code of some sort.

    2. This dream I had today October 27, early morning.

I was pregnant and due to give birth (I'm not fertile anymore and my youngest child is 28). I was with the father, who I'm not sure who it was, in a maternity ward, birthing place. I knew it was time because my skin on my stomach was "see-through", rubbery-like and I felt some slight pain. Then another couple were passing through the room and I felt like I knew them. They already had their baby and I congratulated them. Then I looked down on my belly and saw through the skin that my baby hadn't turned head down yet.. so I panicked but also knew I had to fix it. I took hold of the baby and because my skin was like rubber I manage to turn it around and then I gave birth to a girl. I was amazed that I didn't feel any pain. With the baby in my arms I saw some shards of Slate lying around and became afraid that the baby would put some in her mouth. The baby then took one and held it and made a motion with it like she wanted to comb her hair but she was in no harm. Then I had to see the doctor to make sure the placenta came out ok and it was weird because I had to balance on a kind of hospital bed without mattress with the doctor lying on the floor, pulling the umbilical cord but before he knew it it was just out on the floor, looking huge but fine. Then I woke up totally puzzled and exhausted

If anyone has any input or want to help me interpret I will be happy. I usually have many vivid dreams, some I can just discard and some I can relate to what's going on in my life at the moment. However these two puzzles me. And as English is not my first language, please ignore bad grammar or spelling

Hi Vivexa! Just an idea about your second dream with the theme of birth - are you planning on starting anything new, such as a project, job, moving house? If so, this could be processing any anxieties that you may feel about it.

This is only a generalisation as the symbolism is personal to you.

    Thank you!

I thought for a while I was going crazy. I haven't had anything like that happen before.

The voice was a man's and with an American accent. I don't know anyone in the USA or anywhere with that kind of accent. I wouldn't use the word "collab" which I interpret as "collaborate", collab to me sounds like a short or slang word. But it felt like it was telling me to not collaborate.. with what I'm not yet aware of but it made me more cautious of what I'm doing or agree to. The second part is still a mystery

Just one more thing to note about the birth dream - despite what may seem to be mishaps along the way, everything in the dream turns out fine in the end, so I think there's a message there!

I'm so new at this my answers might end up wrong, please be patient while I figure it out

    Thank you!

And you're actually on point here.. I just didn't think it would affect my Dreams or anything in particular. I'm relocating back to Sweden from UK and it has caused some stress. That could be it. I just didn't see it. I've always been a practical person dealing with whatever comes along. Never before though, have I had dreams like this before something new, may it have been projects, relocation etc. Thanks for opening my eyes a bit more!

One thing you could do — if you feel brave enough! — is to "send out" a telepathic message to him in reply to please repeat and clarify.

You may get more communication, if this is someone who's somehow tuned into you remotely and (maybe!) trying to help.

Hi Vivexa and welcome to Avalon.

Im not sure about your dream but i have been looking into OBE out of body experiences. They do tie into dreams and dreaming. We do leave our body at night. It may be off the topic but I thought you would benefit seeing this site https://www.monroeinstitute.org
Robert Monroe spoke about a loud voice that comes to us internally, not by ear. I have had it happen several times. Someone called out loud DOUG! one night while sleeping. VERY STRANGE
regradless, hope you hear more about Colab.

The strangest part of communications such as this, is realizing that indeed someone outside you is communicating with your mind remotely.. Whether using tech or telepathically.... The first time I experienced this I couldn't believe it, yet they were using language I never use.. So I had to resign myself to become a believer that such things were possible!

It would be easy to dismiss as it came in my inner voice.. as my mind being tired or overworked, but when the grammer is different and the tone in which the actual voice messages come through different, one can not ignore it certainly isn't their own imagination playing tricks with them! Especially when it lines up with something that you're actually doing or seeking..

I am so glad that you shared this comment Bill... Thank You. I think it will help with many others believing this is even possible.

I have been reading a lot of Carl Jung lately, what got me started down that path was his interpretation of his own and his client's dreams.

And surprisingly enough, Jung did not believe that dreams need to be interpreted for them to perform their function. Instead, he suggested that dreams are doing the work of integrating our conscious and unconscious lives; he called this the process of individuation. It’s easiest to think of individuation as the mind’s quest for wholeness, or that quality of applied wisdom that separates elders from grumpy old men.

While it is not required to work with your dreams it does hasten the process along. Some of his own dreams took weeks, months and even years to figure out. He did not go through an elaborate process he simply thought about dreams from time to time and applied them to certain aspects of his life in the conscious world.

It is very nice to hear from you Vivexa! In my experience it is usually the quietest people who manifest the most remarkable insight, and experiences, their 'shyness' is simply a self managed 'Quality Control' you prefer to hang back and consider if the ground is truly safe before exposing your under belly! Excuse my presumption there. I wonder if the dream in your maternity hospital was influenced by 'laughing gas' or perhaps 'Pethidine'? I had a bizarre reaction to anaesthetic when I was about 7, I had the most incredible dream while having teeth removed; giving birth is a traumatic event, all kinds of hormones and organic substances are at work.
I have always thought sleep, and dreams represent us returning to our natural habitat, why do we need to sleep each night, surely this is a biological weakness, a vulnerability?
Just some thoughts, I am so pleased you took the risk and posted.

    Hello Vivexa.

I think your dream is about a new start, or a new beginning, probably a relationship. Let me explain. Its some sort of change in life and birth of something new going in a new direction. The babies all indicate something in the way of a change, or birth of something new. Panic, taking control of the situation, to make adjustments, and particularly the placenta at the end, all signifies to me a dependency and reliance on other people that has been let go or is no longer needed. Dropping the placenta is sure sign you have recently dropped a big burden in your own life, apparently tossed aside, looking big, huge even but it was fine now. So apparently before dream you were doing some kind of a delicate balancing act and it's now over. The dream seems to say it's a phase of life just passed with a new one, only slightly uncomfortable but with no pain is on the horizon. I also find it interesting how you zeroed in on "SLATE" because that in dream symbols is known for meaning potential, as well as information and knowledge. Everything in dream reflects back to self really.

The transparent skin is also a symbol to me anyway of your perception, or more specifically it indicates you are having some trouble perhaps concealing your discomfort with the new changes birthing in your life? The entire scene to me reads that you are dealing with some inner anxiety you cover well but it's there. Skin is our protective layer. So perhaps experiencing some anxieties about how you are being perceived by others during this 'birth of a new direction in life'. It's like you are admitting to yourself your guard is down some but you are in the right mindset about it and open to accepting help. The doctor aiding and then dropping the placenta at the end all = emotional/spiritual healing and the bed and the mattress are both prime indicators we are talking about your private or more intimate self so it seems to be a relationship change maybe as you had some issues balancing things to keep the peace and equal standing, or balance in the intimate settings hence the bed.

I held back on replying about what the dream "Means"..

I sometimes think they're not telling us something in some "coded version of events"... that are nothing like what we normally experience... But perhaps instead, recall of something we may have actually experienced, or someone sharing their experiences with you, by way of placing you in their shoes when they had that experience. Quite simply, it was what it was...

I was shown myself piloting a spacecraft, "Joyriding" for all intents and purposes... With all four occupants dying after being shot at and the craft blowing apart. I assumed this was something they experienced and they were showing me so I would understand, or I was being shown how I previously died.

I feel sometimes we may be trying too hard to rationalize things that make no sense to us, when the truth is? Sometimes it is what it is.. We just can't file it into one of our "normal" brain files, so we decide we need more meaning to it. I believe this alone is the single most reason for why we tend to not get to the truth of many things, as we refuse to accept things for what they present as.

If a grey et stood in front of a room and spoke to 2,000 people, how long do you believe it would take before that simple grey et, or eben, suddenly took on the identity of a reptilian in gossip, or a demon, rather than being described as a being that was simply and honestly GREY and DIFFERENT?

I wonder how many people are often times speaking of the same things only clouding their info with others, merely by the filters they personally choose to use to describe such things? This is one thing I try very hard not to do, and as a result, I tend to write too much. But I feel it important we stop doing this. I wonder how many people have met the same beings I had, yet chose to describe them differently, giving them "Names", rather than what I saw? We will never get a clear photo of things until we all get on the same page, and I fer that adding meaning creates more of a divide in this way.

    For example...

I have toured a spacecraft.. Saw the propulsion system, or parts of it and that room it was in.. I saw the navigation bridge as well... I was in a "lucid" dream state and very well could have been on the craft in a very subdued manner.. I had asked prior to falling asleep that evening to tour the craft, so when it happened I assumed that was exactly what I was experiencing, HOW they did it, didn't really matter much...

But I would never suggest that someone was showing me I would be eventually seeing new tech, or that someone was trying to merely tell me my dreams are "Out of this world" as a result of that dream. Instead, I tell what I saw when I was there, how it unfolded, etc. The dream, or experience as it was. Because that is what it was.. Plain and simple. Guessing at a different meaning, well, only adds more possibilities of what it "could have been" aside from a lucid dream, or me actually walking through a spacecraft... and meeting "Different" beings..

I prefer to limit the choices of what it was to what I got from the actual experience. It was one or the other in some form, that is something I KNOW..

I do wish you well in figuring it out! And thank you for sharing...

    Hi Vivexa,

    Thanks for sharing your experience.
Thank you for the naturalness with which you wrote it.
I don't think I'm in a position to give you any advice, but probably if we were both talking to each other over coffee one day, we together could probably guess what it might be about.
In the meantime, maybe it helps you with something that I am writing an experience that I had, here:

EXPERIENCERS: Sharing, Exploring, and Learning Together

    Take care

    With love,

I just woke from a dream...maybe what some of you have said is true and maybe there is more as well.

I had a friend from almost 30 years ago - I met him at a job. We became good friends and about 7 or 8 years ago he passed from cancer. Well, I just spent the last 2 or 3 hours partying with him again. I had such a good time. I do not know the other people that were in the dream but he and I certainly enjoyed each other's company. I haven't even thought of him lately as I have been very busy. But I am so thankful for the opportunity to see him again.

To me it felt as real a time spent together as anyone would have with a friend. I was walking somewhere and he was there and we greeted each other and smiled and embraced. Then we went along with a couple other people he knew although I did not recognize them. We hung out together for what seemed like a couple hours. We laughed and listened to music at someone's place where we partied together. We went outside and there were some kids there playing with a soccer ball and I went over and kicked and juggled the ball with the other kids while my friend laughed his giggley laugh - he was always smiling - always. He didn't play soccer well, still didn't.

This was as real a time as any other and I am very glad to have gotten to see him again. I would put money on the fact that I will see him again.

    Thank you Mike,

There were no chemicals involved in the dream and I wasn't under any influence of anything before going to sleep. I have 3 children and had quick births so never got to use the laughing gas etc. so I have no lingering memory of how that would affect me.

Sometimes I find it a bit difficult to make interpretations for myself and this dream stood out as important. Your interpretation speaks to me on many levels and makes me more aware of different aspects of my life at the moment.

i wrote a song about daydreams. I thought I would share the lyric.

    daydreams

I just had a daydream while on the edge of sleep
it happened to me late this day  ...
strange memories wake to a place i knew before
this dream often goes this way

I find myself floating, shivered with a chill
as a child on a winters day.
was a weekend snow, and a morning cold and still
as I hope it doesn't fade away

under a deep blue sky as I remember it
all my family living back home...
I remember it still, the dazzling ice and winter chill
how I wish I could go back somehow …

then I dream of a house on a pastel colored hill
paint peeling off an old screen door
the floor old and creaky and some people knew me too
It’s a place I know Ive been before

under a  pale summer sky as i remember it
two people, living in this home
I remember this place , some other life almost erased
how I wish I could go back somehow ...
