The Meier story was the first UFO case that I came across as a curious teenager many moons ago. Despite all the contraversy surrounding the case, and its many detractors, I do believe there is a core truth here. I think Meier did have contact and his early beamship photos are genuine. However, I also think that as time passed Meier acquired a messianic complex possibly due to all the attention. In fact, the gun photos, and the wedding cake UFO made him a laughing stock and a source of derision. I do not believe that he is a reincarnation of Jesus or that Jesus is an ET. I also don't believe that all our religions are false, there is truth to be found in them, otherwise they would not have survived this long. The controlling of the masses and the corruption of Christianity are true enough though. But to say they are entrirely false is inaccurate in my view.

The debate still rages on..........
