Default This Apocalypse is really the Chime of Freedom, Now Sounding

It is a chime, gentle and quiet, but penetrating everything, waking people up and also cleansing (liberating) them. Because it penetrates everything the bell is a mighty tolling.
Nothing can hold it back and nothing is exempt.
    Sound penetrates everything, ultimately.
In the beginning was The Word.

The 'Sound of Freedom' is also a part of the Chime now ringing.

    "[Verse 1]
Far between sundown’s finish and midnight’s broken toll
We ducked inside the doorways, thunder went crashing
As majestic bells of bolts struck shadows in the sounds
Seemin' to be the chimes of freedom flashing
Flashing for the warriors whose strength is not to fight
Flashing for the refugees on the unarmed road of flight
And for each and every underdog soldier in the night
And we gazed upon the chimes of freedom flashing

    [Verse 2]
Through the city’s melted furnace, unexpectedly we watched
With faces hidden as the walls were tightening
As the echo of the wedding bells before the blowin’ rain
Dissolved into the bells of the lightning
Tolling for the rebel, tolling for the rake
Tolling for the luckless, they abandoned and forsaked
Tolling for the outcast, burning constantly at stake
And we gazed upon the chimes of freedom flashing

    [Verse 3]
Through the mad mystic hammering of the wild ripping hail
The sky cracked its poems in naked wonder
That the clinging of the church bells blew far into the breeze
Leavin' only bells of lightning and it's thunder
Striking for the gentle, striking for the kind
Striking for the guardians and protectors of the mind
And the poet and the painter far behind his rightful time
And we gazed upon the chimes of freedom flashing

    [Verse 4]
And the wild cathedral evening the rain unraveled tales
For disrobed faceless forms of no position
Tolling for the tongues with no place to bring their thoughts
    All down in taken-for-granted situations
Tolling for the deaf and blind, tolling for the mute
For the mistreated, mateless mother, the mistitled prostitute
For the misdemeanor outlaw, chained and cheated by pursuit
And we gazed upon the chimes of freedom flashing

    [Verse 5]
Even though a cloud’s white curtain in a far-off corner flared
And the hypnotic splattered mist was slowly lifting
Electric light still struck like arrows, fired but for the ones
Condemned to drift or else be kept from driftin'
Tolling for the searching ones, on their speechless, seeking trail
For the lonesome-hearted lovers with too personal a tale
And for each unharmful, gentle soul misplaced inside a jail
And we gazed upon the chimes of freedom flashing

    [Verse 6]
Starry-eyed and laughing as I recall when we were caught
Trapped by no track of hours for they hanged suspended
As we listened one last time and we watched with one last look
Spellbound and swallowed ’til the tolling ended
Tolling for the aching whose wounds cannot be nursed
For the countless confused, accused, misused, strung-out ones and worse
And for every hung-up person in the whole wide universe
And we gazed upon the chimes of freedom flashin'"

Growing up, I used to be a big Boss fan, but somewhere along the way Bruce became another globalist piece of manure- just like Bono. Today, I turn the channel whenever I hear his voice.

If I had to pick an old rocker who is still a good rebel, I'd pick Roger Waters.

I understand. I believe he came out in favour of the vaxx etc, which was super disappointing. Van Morrison, on the other hand, was against it all, right from the get go. My personal feeling is that Bruce 'meant' well but was misguided/mistaken and inside he was trying to do what was right, rather than being a globalist's mouthpiece. It will be interesting to see if he ever recants his stated position.

Bono on the other hand, I'm a bit more dubious about. Although a lot of his music is also marvellous and inspired.

Regarding those ones appearing to be mouthpieces, I feel there's a big difference between those who were trying to do the right thing and those who knew exactly that what they were doing was nefarious. Could be wrong of course; just my 2cents.

Overall, the OP really just uses the images and songs to convey a message. The mouthpiece is very secondary although it does have a bearing.

Tracie, I felt your intentions and what the music and lyrics were saying, very uplifting. Sometimes a person has done things we consider good and/or bad in the same life, and it is nice to put a spotlight on the inspiring parts.

And ideologically we lost Neil Young too - that was a bit heartbreaking. Should we still listen to his song: The needle and the damage done?

Lots of middle of the road bands that I like a bit, like Keene and Kaiser Chiefs, turned out to be soppy state-cucks, but it doesn't always ruin the music for me but I won't be spending money on them.

But now I've got this song in my head:

I realise that I didn't express what I was trying to say as clearly as I could have re the bolded part.

What I feel is that there's a big difference between those who were pushing the vax because they genuinely, out of fear/panic/misguidedness?/an overriding need to go into 'protect' mode, felt it was the right thing to do and those who I feel were pushing the agenda who deep inside were 'enjoying' (= deeply angry/unhappy/bitter inside) the fascist aspect of it all, were somehow bought off in one form or another, sociopathic or who were just plain deeply afraid.

Regarding Bruce in particular. To me, the goodness radiating from both him, his band members, his wife and his audience is a clear reflection of the man. It is very apparent to me that there is , yes, love present, shared back and forth between him and his audience. You can see the mutual respect. This speaks volumes to me. I feel he is a being of light, or, a light bringer to this world.
