Default A simple new triangle theorem - after 5000 years

Dear Friends, this might be interesting mild entertainment for some of you. And despite the thread title, this is really simple stuff.

'The Mathologer' (Burkard Polster), a delightful and entertaining man who may be the world's best-ever math teacher, explains a theorem about triangles that was only discovered 10 years ago — despite the world's most brilliant minds, including all the Greeks such as Euclid, Pythagoras and Archimedes, staring at triangles for thousands of years.

The explanation is just over 10 minutes, is all animated, may be easy for many to understand with little effort, and is astonishingly straightforward. Enjoy.

Simple yet 5000 years missed ?

Funny, I first thought of Origami and yes he did mention it eventually and then fractals, it just seems to be in there too, how beautiful!!!!
