    Default Pineal Gland

I thought this tiny pea sized gland (that is alluded to in many posts) deserved a thread of its own.

I came across an excellent article on the Pineal gland that describes just how long humanity has known about its amazing properties and also provides a resource for us that describes how to activate it. Many will no doubt be aware of this information, for those that do not...... From the article - (cut and pasted bits and pieces):

    ***************

The pineal gland is bio-luminescent and sensitive to light.

Awakening this gland can speed up our learning, improve our memory ability, enhance our intuition, wisdom and creativity, trigger our psychic healing abilities and experience bliss.

The Pineal Gland resonates to the frequency of the B tone, musically. It emits a violet or white color (frequency) and thus is stimulated by these colors or frequencies. Therefore, violet (and purple and indigo) crystals (e.g. Amethyst, Charoite, Dumortierite, Purple Lepidolite, etc.) and clear/translucent crystals (e.g. Opal Aura Quartz, Clear Quartz, Herkimer Quartz, Selenite, etc.) greatly stimulate this gland and help to open it if it is closed.

Saying the word or thinking the word ‘Love’ from the heart activates this gland as well. If you are saying the word out loud use a drawn out pitch until you feel it resonate within your brain. When we say the meditative word AH.. or God, Buhdda, Allah, Jehovah, Krishna, Shiva, Ra etc… we are saying this eternal word that stimulates the pineal and connects us with all that is.

    ************

The pineal gland is shaped like a tiny pine cone, hence its name. The symbol of the pineal gland is the pine cone.

It is so revered by the Vatican that a special Vatican court was built called the ‘Court of the Pine Cone’ where the world’s largest pineal gland symbol is on display! The symbol is also found on the staff of the Pope and the Egyptian god Osiris.

Next to the Vatican Museums is a large courtyard called the Courtyard of the Pine because of the enormous bronze pine cone situated in it. It isn’t a statue.

Apparently it dates from around the 1st century BC and was likely to have been used as a fountain in the baths of Agrippa which stood just behind the Pantheon.

It was moved in the early Middle Ages and placed in front of the original Basilica of St. Peter built by the Emperor Constantine where it was used as a fountain.

The bronze pine cone is one of only a handful of spolia preserved from the original St. Peter’s.

This is a picture of candles used in Catholic masses. This is typical in Roman Catholic services and ornaments.

Here is an interesting article from the web site Energy Fanatics on the subject.

"...The secrets of the pineal gland lies within its interior. The pineal gland looks like a pine cone from the outside, but if we cut it open and look inside, it looks somewhat similar to an eye. Its interior wall is filled with rods and cones similar to the retina in our eyes....

The pineal gland is one of the smallest glands in the body but has more blood flow per a cubic volume than any other gland. It also has one of the highest concentration of energy and is filled with specialized water. ...."

    Thumbs up Re: Pineal Gland

Thanks witchy1, great info for those new to this...... have lots of material on this. The pineal gland is what people call the 3rd eye and has been proven medically to have a lens and a retina.....it it the most sacred part of the body and if one really understands it's benefits then one really comes into what many call true esoteric knowledge. By the way, it is the gland that activates the visions when one takes hallucinogens....the same visions that can be achieved through meditations by activating the third eye chakra!

Just though I add my 2 cents.

    Blessings,

Thanks also Witchy1 for this post. It is important at this time. I will add a peanut of information:
The Pineal Gland becomes CALCIFIED due to the Standard American Diet. Meat, dairy products, and refined starches all break down into caustic and corrosive acids that cause calcification of the Pineal Gland. When the Pineal Gland becomes calcified and the secretory duct becomes obstructed, Melatonin cannot be secreted into the bloodstream. Nor can Serotonin.

    Peace an

Hence the importance of eliminating flouride from the diet, including toothpaste. The pineal apparently concentrates this poison specifically.

    ****************

Studies done mostly with birds strongly suggest that the pineal gland is a center for navigation. Scientists believe that the pineal body is a magnetoreceptor, capable of monitoring magnetic fields, and helping to align the body in space. Changing the direction of magnetic fields around the heads of birds alters their ability to orient.

Electromagnetic fields (EMF) suppress the activity of the pineal gland and reduce melatonin production. EMF activity therefore disrupts the bodies circadian rhythms.

In lower vertebrates, the pineal gland has an eye like structure and it functions as a light receptor. The pineal gland may be the evolutionary forerunner of the modern eye. It is located within the third ventricle. It is large in children, but shrinks at puberty. It appears to play a major role in sexual development, hibernation in animals, metabolism, and seasonal breeding. In humans it affects circadian rhythms, sleep patterns (melatonin levels increase at night), and is implicated in seasonal affective disorder. The abundant melatonin levels in children is believed to inhibit sexual development. When puberty arrives, melatonin production is reduced

    **********************

The frequencies that ELF AC systems use are very close to the natural brain rhythms of cerebrate creatures such as man. The pineal gland is the principal structure in the brain that is directly sensitive to the earth's magnetic field.

As a result it functions abnormally when exposed to abnormal fields close to its own. Because the pineal gland produces a host of psychoactive chemicals (such as melatonin, dopamine, serotonin and others) its abnormal functioning can cause neurological and behavioural problems.

Thanks for this thread witchy. I read once that ancient civilizations believed that the pineal gland was our means to see and communicate with God and that our rulers placed the moon in its position to block that vibrational tone and frequency to keep us separate from God and under their control.

When I was given my spiritual name (6 years ago)- Gajanana, I was told to use it as a mantra and that it was for my prtection. I now understand why... the vibration of the sound. I'm telling myself "DUH!!"

This is funny. I was reading your post and got to this part and just starting singing' love.' The cats all jumped up and stared at me. Then sat back and started twitching and rearranging themselves .After a minute they calmed down, crept closer and gathered round staring at me on full cat alert waiting for me to do it again. Then I started singing something a little more mundane "bad company'. The all got the' cat bored' look on their face till I started singing love again. Now they are waiting for me to do it again.

Supplementing with Lugol's iodine will displace the fluroide from the pineal gland. Fluoride attaches to the gland because it is similar in structure to iodine, both being halogens, along with bromide. It is iodine that should be there in the gland. If there is insufficient iodine in the diet then fluroide will attach. This is one of the many reasons we are not educated to the use or ingestion of iodine and why iodine was taken out of bread products and replaced with bromide, a totally worthless substance for the body.... its all part of the campaign to dumb us down.

Thanks Arrowwind, I have been using the Lugol's because I was internally led to this, and had not known about this connection to the pineal. Iodine has so many positive affects on our bodies. A clean pineal may be as important as a pure heart....

COINCIDENTALLY....(Lol) Lugols the last time I checked cannot be easily purchased in the US like it used to. At least not here in Michigan. Granted I haven't checked in a while since I just give up and order from Canada. I've poked around to get a MD to write me a script for it and they won't even though its not a medicine or pharmaceutical per say.

G'day, I went looking and asked around my local area in health food shops and was told by some it is dangerous LOL.

But some others told me that you can buy iodized salt.. so I got me some.

One bloke told me seaweed or kelp was good for iodine....so I got me some of that as well, 3-4 tabs a day, have run out now , have to get some more.

No shortage of sunlight here at the moment LOL it was 42 deg c here today.

You can also stimulate the reflexology point for the pineal gland. It's on the inside of the big toe - diagram here:

You can purchase lugols iodine at a site called crows google crows iodine
You need the 5% solution for oral intake.. 2% is better for topical

But I purchase my iodine from Ecuador. I purchase the 15% solution and cut it to make 3 one ounce bottles of 5%. It is much more cost effective this way! I also like supporting this company, who was run out of the country for curing cancer, and th owner, I think still sits in jail. His wife is a naturopath and she is running the company last time I checked. In the literature you will find that 7% is often recommended but I have found that the 5% does all I need it to.

for further info on lugols Iodine visit my blog and serach Iodine and there are a number of articles there. To orally supplement there is a learning curve, and if you are hypothryoid it could cure your problem. You will need thyroid levels checked as you go about it, because your thyroid medicine will end up needing to be reduced. It can prevent and in some cases cure breast cancer.

if i look back on my "alternative lifestyle" i believe it was "activation of my pineal gland" that i fell into the whole that is fluoride. i already try to incorporate some of things you suggest witchy...but look forward to addressing the B tone you suggested. it's an inspiring subject, me thinks.
