We were just outside the danger zone and escaped unharmed. In fact Mackay is the only town along the east coast of Queensland, Australia that hasn't had a mayor catastrophy this year.
It must be because I am here. ha! ha! ha!... A few of my friends were in Townsvile and they stayed in the built in wardrobe and drank beer and wine while the cyclone was going overhead.
