Exclamation A strange experience I had...

Ok, I need to share a strange experience I had in the past.

An experience I've told a friend I met on Avalon and I thought I can use your input on that.

As some of you know, I'm french.

When I started to learn english (10-11 years old) our english teacher gave us english names.

This was done randomly, and I ended up with the name "William".

No big deal at this time, it lasted for just one year and after that I completely forgot that I had been named william.

Later, when I was 18 years old, on a summer night, we decided, a bunch of friends and mine, to have a seance (just for fun, well, for the beginning).

So, we placed the 38 letters, numbers and YES/NO on the table with a circular pattern, an empty glass and started the seance.

After a few minutes, as everyone started to get more focus, the glass began to move. Our fingers were barely touching it.

Let's call this "presence" a spirit.

First we asked out loud to the spirit if someone had leave the seance.

The spirit said YES and then designated me.

I was a little annoyed but, I asked him/her in my head why I had to leave (no spoken word at this time).

He/she just answered "WILLIAM"... (in a split second after that I then recalled I've been named william in the past)

Well, at this point, I leaved the table, confused, went outside, watched the stars and began to be overwhelmed with questions.

I still don't understand what happened that night and am still puzzled by this experience.

Do someone have any clue about that ?

I used to mock people who did ouiji boards.
    Then i did one.
    I don't mock them anymore.

    Hi William
I can't help you, I have no experience with such things. Leaving the room may have been a good thing? How did the others get on without you.?

    Didn't the stars look beautiful?
Maybe it's not about understanding - rather it's just being in the moment ...
Perhaps you were reminded that past present and future are all one and William was and is you?

Maybe William you were not ready at that point in your life to interact with the dead.

Many people who have died see into who we really are. Perhaps others saw that you were not ready to cope with what you would experience.
I suspect calling you William in the seance was a way of getting your attention. Remember seances should never be done half heartedly and always done with someone who understand what they are doing and the living people who they invite. To do so otherwise is to play with fire.

Maybe now, if you have matured a great deal, is the time to return to a proper seance run by someone who knows what they are doing.

Also it would be worth reflecting on the questions that overwhelmed you if you can remember - they may hold the keys to understanding yourself.

    Have a wonderful day,

    Bright Garlick.

Thx all for your kind answers.

@ TigerLilly : I don't remember (I'm 34 now) how the seance went after I leave, no major drama as I can remember.
@ Free Bird : Yes, actually, the stars were beautiful that night, I can remember that clearly, they always are, brightening, always...
@ Bright Garlick : Yes, I think, we've played with fire this night, as many teenagers do, all the time, with seance, with love, with sex, with their car, bike, with their brand new life...

It is a very good sign of clean personal energy.

William I'm not opposed to talking boards but any sort of divination is undertaken with a specific...oh lets say spiritual procedure . When you do it to sorta to see what will happen and don't use a proper protocol, you run the high risk of calling in any old thing standing nearby that wishes to respond to you. Not good or bad or evil just sorta meaningless in nature.

Sorta like if you were praying on a bus and said "God are you there' and the bus driver said, "Yep that's me."

Not everything 'over there' is truthful simply because its 'over there.' It may have something truthful to say, it may just feel like horsing around and feeding you a line of bs or it may be perfectly sincere and have no idea what's going but since it has gotten your attention its going to have a little chat. So it means nothing really when it comes from those quarters. . There's a ceiling of yurk between us and a true informational field and unless this 'procedure' is undertaken thats usually what people tap into if they aren't' accustomed to working with varied sorts of energies to learn the difference between what can be trusted and what can't. Sounds like no harm done, just a weird event. However it can make what is dependable divination when tapped into a true information field seem faulty when the yurk comes trickling in. Often times we put the control of the seance in the hands of the spirits when it should be the other way around.

I have done these many times and it still confuses me as to what energy moves the glass. Is it the dead or is just us? we have the power and maybe it's a form of power that many of us can do but because it's scary we don't. Are we afraid of our human power? I'd say yes. Just because we have been educated that it's the dark side doesn't mean that the dark side is moving the glass.
Anyway the people that go into the trances usually swear that it's the presence of the dead. I'm skeptical but THE GLASS DOES MOVE but from what energy still baffles me.

Well, if you went out, gazed the stars and contemplated a thousand questions, sounds like thats why it happened. Perhaps that experience brought you into a more appropriate timeline? Maybe a guide of yours or even yourself on a higher level. Whenever I thinki of odd experiences like this I can't help but to think "butterfly effect" and how that experience may have really changed a specific outcome in the future. There are no coincidences ;-) .. disclaimer: not advocating use of ouija boards ..

There's really no dark side, just things that will take advantage of you if you aren't versed on how the way things work. Take advantage of you the way they happen on this reality. Energy theft of some sorts usually. Nothing 'over there' operates any differently than here. There's pests, bullies, passive little spirits. Its sort of an illusionary world on its own that reflects this one. We move the glass. Its our personal energy that does it. Put two people doing it and quite a lot more is raised than one. Get several and you have quite a synergy moving there.

Not to say spiritual energies can't move things but when you are all joined together like that its usually working through the personal energies of the people involved. Not physical energies but when we use our body as a pendulum the subconscious will make the mucles twitch in certain directions.

Personally I'd have someone use a dowser, bobber or a pendulum so they can get used to the way things work. Those are things we move with our personal energy. And to get over the fear. Although I'm curious why would something like that be scary? I wish people weren't becoming aware of one's personal energy allows us to know how powerful we are.

My personal belief is that "dark" beings can only use you to the extent that you fear them. That's why they often appear "scary" (think Monsters Inc. lol ;-). Your level of fear toward an entity is the level you open yourself up to them. Love everything, no matter how "evil" it appears, (those beings need it most anyway), something that requires diligence and practice but is well worth it. And from your description it doesn't sound like a negative experience (even though it may have seemed so). I had a very strange experience last night, but I'm not much a stranger to them anymore

Seances can invite n'er (never) do well (or malicious) spirits into your life Williamg. You being asked to leave may have been a guardian angel telling you to leave for your protection. Don't question it, but be grateful.

It's possible that you have guides or a guardian, William, who did not want you involved for your own protection. Your guides or guardian could speak through a seance or a ouija board if they chose to. Often these types of seances can open you up to having negative energies attached to you. I would look on being told to leave as a gift for your greater good and you were probably smart to follow the instructions.

When I was very young I had a "guide" and I called her my fairy godmother. As I got older I heard from more guides/guardians, whatever they were. I often had arguments with them and would curse at them if they suggested I do something or NOT do something that I was intent on doing or not doing. I often ignored them and did exactly what I wanted since I am a very stubborn taurus type. Of course I paid a price many times for being extremely stubborn. They also helped me in many dangerous situations where I did listen.

It's also possible that what we think of as guides are our higher selves advising us and of course ultimately we are all one. Often a communication comes as an inner voice, at least it did for me. Frequently the voice would say, "NO, don't DO that! That would be STUPID!" I would say "STFU, I'll do whatever the hell I WANT to do!" I know they really got a lot of laughs with me as I was growing up since I had a strong desire to have adventures and was attracted to danger like a moth to a flame.

    Nancy
