Curious what strange talents the other members might have and be willing to share. Maybe Atticus can peruse it and help discover the 18 by viewing your skills. Plus I love hear about people's special talents. Also would like to hear from anyone with a strange birthmark, preferably one that runs in the family. Right Handed
Birthmark on my noggin, left side. Most visible and most often remarked to me after a haircut (usually in the form of who cut your hair?). I recall once getting a 1mm buzz cut and the barber I guess was trying to be polite and left that area around the birthmark about 6 to 8 mm long. It was something along the lines of a bad comb over on the side on my head.
No real talents. Except learning. Update: Creating something from nothing.
I enjoy long walks on the beach and candle lit dinners beside a roaring fire. :-D

No birthmarks of intrest, right handed but I use left hand for many things! Brown with pine green eyes.

Talents ... I can sense peoples moods/state of mind in glimpses and derive a lot from them, but usualy the second they feel it. Deja vu alike experiences where I can hear/see an event unfold sometimes up to a minut or two before they happen and thus know what people will say or do. I can sense ground water (even if I'm 4 stories up) and oil (both makes me nausious and feel like I'm not alone - oil is bad but strong currents of water isn't pleasent either). I have foretold 4 deaths in my family - one on the other side of the world. And I have a very active imagination which I use as a playground/tool to connect with my subconsions in a way that lets me connect many stored facts in split seconds. I'm training it so that I may acturally be able to gather the connected information and raise it to the consious level and explain them. Usually I just get frustrated over the massive amount of information which I have no idea where comes from! Some of these talents (especially precog) I tried to make dorment in my teens as I became afraid of them when I stopped my sister from going a certain way and a drunk driver skittet the corner where she would have been. Now I wish to reawaken them but I don't know how, I'm still afraid even though I know I don't have to be. Its like a slow intuition now, I don't SEE things as images in my brain any more like I used to. They were so strong that the images blocked my normal two eyed vision. I sometimes see through other peoples eyes. I once read an article headline through my step fathers eyes. I wasn't even trying, it just happened. More than once. And I have healed by touch (and focus of enegy) without knowing anything about how. I was young and ignorant of anything not christian/catholic but felt I knew how.

Anyone here who knows if these abilities can be reawakened and how?

Thankyou for the thoughtful response. I was using humor, trying to get folk to post about themselves. I't actually so I can learn about the people here. Usually, if you ask someone a fact about themselves, they will be happy to share. I am actually a little dissappointed at how few responses this thread has gotten. Very revealing about collective human ability.

I am left handed, I have always had some interesting skills which I believe come from my mothers side.
When I was younger I was brought up in a catholic school run by Nuns. We would have to visit church usually 3 nor 4 times a week.
I would often see ghosts inside the 200 year old church, one was a monk with a habit and waist cord but no face, I saw him a few times and would always run off to be around class mates or the Nuns, the other things I saw were shadowy people lurking with no form. I only told my best friend and one day we were throwing stones at the stained glass windows down a back alley of the Church, we walked up to the window to assess the damage and the monk was behind the stained glass, my friend saw it also.

From a young age I was able to create some kind of energy in my hands and sustain it, grow it. I have never really mentioned that to anyone before, I never found a use for it and didnt understand it. I can still do it now but it takes longer and feels weaker than when I was young.

I have always seen things such as conversations or events but until very recently I dismissed it as rubbish. About 6 weeks ago my wife came in to see me in my work shed, she said "your brother in law is missing" I instantly saw a motorbike going down a grass bank, the boots on the motorcyclists feet, the grass, the noises of the bike. Then I saw the bike kick and topple over the rider and land on him, I also was familier with where it was. I told my wife and father in law and explained I was probably going mental. They looked where I told them and he was there with the motorbike on top of him and the boots on that I saw also. Now my wife thinks that is scary and so does my Father in law. This was too strange to pass off as nothing and is exactly why I have joined Avalon. Other stuff happens all the time and I have been too worried about being sent to a mental institution to tell anyone,

I make quilts and sing soprano. I have arthritis and graying hair, wear trifocals and orthopedic lifts in my shoes.
As for psychic powers, yes, some. Don't use them. Oh, I make good cookies (biscuits).
Gee, I'm glad this is not a dating website. Hate to think what kind of geezer I'd attract...........

Me too!!! My husband says I have an invisible neon sign on my forehead that only animals can read that says " all animals welcome here"! Not only can I read people's emotions, I can actually just drive by someone's house in my car and "feel" everything that goes on in their house.

Brown eyes, now ambidextorus, probably would have been a lefty, but schools pushed righthanded (then complained about my penmanship). Birthmark on my left hand, fills in the web of my finger bones from the wrist almost to the start of the fingers, also my natural projective hand.

Hmm, many "talents" that vary in intensity basically all tied to working with/in the astral, but very earth/people centric. The one that is really noteworthy is the feel for the earth. I can see the whole thing, and reach out to pretty much any spot by "arcing" over something like a missile launch and land. Good at helping people with energetic connections (higher ones) and finding trouble spots so they can work on them. The earth thing gives a feel for large and small energetic networks & webs.

Everything else is across the board, precog, healing, projection, defense, clearing, time thread stuff, karma, etc.

Happy to lend a hand if someone wants help, but it almost always involves me passing on the keys, and the person doing the work.

EDIT: Realized it say "weird talent". hmmmm, I guess it would have to be my storytelling. I have an unusual way of connecting personal aspects of people's time lines and showing the exact opposite but still making them understand this seemingly contractive outlook.

Usually this is done in a setting of close personal trust where usually taboo subjects can be discussed freely and openly.

I can add that I have eyes that change color (all the usual eye colors but brown). It can be quite noticible to people who first start to get to know me and as time passes I have been asked if I was wearing contacts - WITH glasses!!! lol (I have since had lasik so no more glasses) Now if I only could change the color at will.... now THAT would be a talent!!!

I have had conversations with only one friend where there were no words... it came in handy when we were on a double date with a couple of guys we wanted to ditch without them knowing... (sry but we were teenagers at the time) We would have sleep overs and play these "guess what I'm thinking" games... yea it got boring fast. I wish I could 'reactivate' that as well as some other things.

I use both hands... I think that is ambidexterous... but some things a prefer one hand to the other.. like for the computer, I simply cannot use the mouse with my right hand... in my POV, mouse goes on the left so I can also write if need be. I mainly write with my right, although I can write backwards etc like someone else mentioned... I apologize as I am tired and forgot who it was... Damn now you all got me thinking! (Thank you!!! )

There is more little things but... I've had some really draining (in a hopfully positive way) days so I am signing off until the morning...

I can use both hands equally but favor my right. My left is stronger and a tiny bit larger at least fingernails and so forth. I practice eating and switching between the two just in case some day, I need to use one or both. I have a birthmark, a strawberry that looks like a kiss on my left inside arm. Many have asked if it was a Hickey throughout my life. It's not one but I've had a few of those, too. xoxox
