I am an avid fan of Japanese animation, and the clip I am linking to here is from a Japanese anime (animation) called "Patlabor 2: The Movie" that was made in 1993 and released in america and elsewhere over the years, it is the second of three movies made within this fictional universe. The fictional movie is set within "2002".
While it is focusing on Japan as the object of discussion (as this takes place in Japan) really, it is speaking to broader themes of war and peace. Not only is it a beautiful peice of old school animation (nothing digitally animated). But it also is a very reflective film. This particular clip is one of my favorites and I thought I would share it with this wonderful community, enjoy.
