    Default Critical Thinking

I just found this short video on what determines critical thinking, and what might be in your way of being a critical thinker. Excellent!

Ooooooh, how I like it. Thank you guys for this brilliant video. Maybe after all I am a Critical thinker, identifying myself with almost all in this video.

The title of the video is mis-labeled. Derren uses NLP.

Derren Brown seeds the idea of what Simon Pleggs thinks he needs to have.

Technique is used over and over on the general population.

When an idea pops into our mind, the first step to question if it is our own idea -- or one suggested for us.

thanks for that Mcaballero, Lord Sidious and 58&Fixed,

Inside the dualistic frame of black and white thinking is also the dualistic view of separating REASON FROM INTUITION...leaving us over dependent on one brain hemisphere activity versus the other one, at the core of many divisions in society between male/female, creative people vs administrative ones, poets and or religious versus scientists...the list is long.
All the way we deny one or the other we are still swimming incomplete...

    Love
    Barbara

    BUT

Don't forget that all that touching can also be a part of a process of hypnotizing a person. I have some knowledge how the hypnotic influence works, I also have some knowledge about NLP, so my opinion would be that we are talking here about a combination of both. Could I be wrong? Off course, but my first impulse was this

    Wow Barbara:

    Nice. Really, really nice.

Bad choices are merely the consequences of the reality of Free Will Choice, in combination with the bulk of the population not exploring more control of their thinking.

The Universe has only given us the opportunity to make bad choices, not build in a balance of good & bad.

    This makes my day !

    Thanks Vibrations:

Re: the touching. You are paying attention.

Those 'touchings' are simply an additional NLP tool to anchor ideas with an additional experiential input, for a faster reaction. A sustained approach [advertising on TV] can avoid that.
