    Default Practice Compassion

(mods, plese do not move this to 'Spirituality', because this involves but is not only spirituality)

Practice Compassion - Narayan Krishnan, a companion to the forgotten

This is a video that inspires me, renews my spirit, brings tears to my eyes, makes me want to increase my personal efforts. We all need to grow in compassion, and if you need an example, or a reminder, this is a good one.

If this does not move you, call you to action, breath fire into your sense of humanity, then please remain silent and work on yourself.

If this does move you and inspire you, then please feel free to post other examples of compassion in action, or your reaction, or your plans to make compassionate contributions to society.

    Offered with love and gratitude.

    Namaste.

    Dennis

Thank you Dennis - a very humbling and inspiring video. Validation has done the rounds a couple of times before but I looking forward to watching Pay It Forward later.

Maria! Thanks for "Validation", I had never seen that before. Very cute short movie.

Seems this topic slipped down the list pretty quickly. Hope more people will take 2 minutes and 43 seconds to watch the video "Practice Compassion - Narayan Krishnan, a companion to the forgotten", maybe thank the post (think of it as thanking the post, not me), and some might even post a word or two to keep the thread visible.

    Namaste,

    Dennis

    Many many thanks for this.

What else really matters in life???

Let the "power boys" play their games (which matters and not to take away from that).

At the end of the day what else matters but love and compassion and service to others that we cross paths with on an everyday happening?

Break it down ... WHAT ELSE MATTERS BUT LOVE???

Let the warriors fight it out ... what on this 3d earth plane will last???

Honor to those brave spirits that fight on behalf of the "humans" ... take it off this plane and WHAT REALLY MATTERS???

If you feel nothing for others then you have nothing yourself.

Love to all and RELAX as we sit back to see what the Universe has in store for us???

There *IS* a balance and don't surrender to fear.

IMHO - every soul has an obligation to determine that opinion if they chose to.

Yes that world I wish to see Chris !

The understanding of how we can make a difference is a good start !
We are all interacting with others, the change with in is changing all around.

Be the change you wish to see in the world.

    Love and compassion for all.

    Thank you !

I remember seeing a video about Narayan a while back. His story is a tear-jerker for sure. His compassion is uplifting and an inspiration- we need more like him in this world.

This IS what it is all about. And there is really only one "Golden Rule" - Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
If everyone could follow this rule, well......the sky is the limit for all.
The states of awareness we currently perceive are only a thiny fraction of the whole.
The continuum extends deep into nonphysical areas of the universe far beyond our current physical comprehension ~ William Buhlman
