To begin with we have to define the semantic meaning of the word God...

    *EDIT*

In my humble opinion we will be able to define the word but not the meaning

    I don't necessarily believe what I think,
neither do I always think what I believe

Thumbs up Re: You think you are a god?

Quote AlkaMyst seems nice - or is he a necromancer...LOL
ROFLMAO.....this is just too funny, thanks DarkOne you just made my night!

Quote I think you need a little more research into the bibles history i.e. missing books and edits etc. and even perhaps read up on the first Pope Constantine he believed he was God or pretty damn close..
Very well said my friend, and by the way there's an excellent documentary inside the FTP which I can't recall the name right now (I'll look it up and posted when I find it amongst the 300GB plus of stuff there ) but it explains the whole history about Constantine and Christianity.....and most of the lost books of the bible are there too (all the good stuff from Enoch too!).

Please make use of it and I guarantee you'll change your mind!

    Blessings,
    AlkaMyst

Religious people have no use for knowledge, or for that which comes into the hearth as a gift of God, but only what can be read from the written page.
They have a rule for everything. Look it up in the book, instead of looking into the heart. They lose the spirit of the Law, as they look to the letter of the Law.

Our future is the basis of our freedom and our freedom is the basis upon which we will build our future. Only those who have freedom will have a future and only those with freedom have a choice to accept or change the circumstances that surround their life.

The world we live in is not the world we know. There is another world hidden behind the reality of the world we manifest within our consciousness. If we penetrate one, we must penetrate both in order to find meaning and balance. And if we have found meaning and balance in our lives, we have found unconditional love.

There is a huge amount of deception going on right now in the "disclosure movement"...
The truth behind the veil is not for the faint of heart and I weight my words... my purpose here is not to cause fear but discernment...

Hmm...why is your name human alien if you're so against such ideas
Wait jesus can heal and walk on water
A man can part the red seas with a stick
or cause all the waters and wines to turn to blood..
cause swarms of locuses and frogs..
A man could build a ship large enough to hold 2 of every animal in the world
by hand with the help of a few family members...and somehow feed them all for 40
    days

And a machine and aliens are unbelievable?

WHY do people still think that this one little rock is the only one (out of limitless galaxies and planets too far to reach)
    that can contain life?

    bah!

...why bicker about titles anyways...ufo... god? who cares?
The past isn't going to help our present predicament...
and even so wether its "god" or non interferring aliens
    we're in the same boat.
Cause we're still "on our own"
People may blame god if their prayer happens to work but how many prayers go unanswered?
Even by those with "true faith" and "true devotion"
We will all believe whatever we wish to believe in and i encourage you do the same without trying to force your views...it is not your job to control one's faith
that is the purpose of the metaphorical "Satan"

    DO YOU THINK YOU'RE SATAN?

Humanalien, don't be offended at what I am going to put here, as that isn't my intent.
I have transcended religion and I no longer need ''a system'' to teach me what I need to know and I can tell you I am not alone in this here.
Many of us are able to find what we need internally, from our higher selves.
I view religious systems as trainer wheels that you have until you don't need them anymore.
There is no wisdom in following anothers words, deeds and rules.
And why would I need another to help me speak to my creator?
I didn't need that help to speak to my parents as a kid, why would I need that help to speak to that of which I am a part of?

    - or put a C in it ..

The good people here show you more respect than you show them.
    - And therefore more than you realy deserve.
There is a lesson just there, if that is what you are looking for.

Your current avatar tells me not to take this seriously.

    But,
I will play a quick duality with you here,
and leave the charles-connection out of it.

The webpage you linked to is a false gospel indeed, URL is right on the spot.
(Do not spend time with that crap, it is damaging to your senses)
It is made by someone realy stupid or realy evil.
I prefer to think the first, for their sake.
You should think of what kind of attention you want to have here.
You are playing with fire, and it is burning in your end of the wire.

    Take care.
Me personaly am both easily amused, and easily annoyed.
I will go with amused here, if nothing else then for my own wellbeing.

There is a lot of deception around, and you could have raised
a sincere, intelligent and respectful debate about it.

After all the caveats and cautions ... threats even? well what else can I call it when the Bible says do this... ...don't do that, I have been very cautious about committing to some of the new ideas I have been exposed to. But I have to say that what looks like truth to me has changed radically. Am I equal with the limitless, the first source and center? I find it hard to believe that I am. But I have been invited to see the potential that not only I, but all of us (not just humans but every creature with a free will) are capable of achieving. And from where I am standing right now (ok, sitting) the challenge before us is to re-unite with our creator, but that isn't the end of the journey - I am assured there will be more!

Edit to add: when we talk about God, most of us with a western education assume by default that we are talking about the deity worshipped by the Jewish people before Christianity, referred to by Jesus as "Your Father". But hell was borrowed from the Norse culture - Hel, the underworld which may, or may not include a lake of fire that burns forever.

    ...
Please don't presume what I know, believe or how I behave. You can't know everyone of us, because honestly; this is the first time I have heard of you. My relationship with my creator is deep and intense, always has been. It's the very reason I choose life no matter what my circumstances have been. It's lucky for me because I spent my youth being shuffled from different Christian religions, in the end, realizing that very few people walked the talk. (I would expound further on this but it would ruin your day.)
As a good Christian, you should know better than make sweeping assumptions about ANY part of humanity. If it's souls you are saving, please fish elsewhere. One more point, I had to leave the church to become a better Christian, and a more protected one.
To (mis)quote Gandhi, I am a Christian and a Jew, Muslim and Hindi, I am brother (sister) to humanity

    For some of you:
You all would rather believe that aliens, of many different
species created you and they have endowed you with the
power to go on to the next level of consciousness, with
    their help.

    For the charles believers:
You would rather believe that charles has a machine that
can do many miraculous things to the human mind.

You would rather believe that charles has a 5000 year old
human master than believe in God.

When is the last time you saw a 5000 year old human?
    I for one never have.

These stories are by far, are more ridiculous than
    believing in God.

It doesn't bother me that you don't believe in God.
To each his/her own as the saying goes but to believe
the stuff that charles has been saying is very childish.

You have a brain. Please use it......
    And who is "your" GOD

We create in tandem, in that, there is an agreed uniformity and scale of things that go with Cosmic law.
Gravity affects all equally for example.
I can decide to reduce gravity and be light enough to fly, if I could then it would affect all others and some would no wish to fly.
So our ability to create affects the totality and the totality affect us,

We can create but within set principals because everything we do affect everyone else and what everyone else does affects us,
So there are safe guards set by an intelligence greater than us which brought us into being.
I call that intelligence God and I am part of that which I call God.

I am a wave of the Divine Ocean.

But the stories in a book written and re-rewritten by MEN is without question the word of God huh? They have been using this Book of fables to control people like you for thousands of years. Oh and as a side point, how typical is it the the Church took away our true holiness by assigning it elsewhere,

The holy trinity is Body, Mind and Spirit and is in each of us.

The church would have you believe we are not gods so they can maintain their power structures.

    I agree with Richard
We do not need religion now we have out grown it.
I dont need a middle man, but the guidance from Christ The Buddha Krishna invaluable.
If I want to learn how to play golf or do anything that requires skill and knowledge or just how to. then I go to to some one who has a successful track record.
They guide me to begin with then let me be to find my own way now I have the necessary tools
Any good teacher does not want followers and becomes progressively redundant.

There are many people here whom I respect who have different points of view, so what!!!
Many different names for the Creator but we are all really talking about the same Intelligence that we are part of.

Im sure God does not mind in the slightest.

Lots of very good people here of many different beliefs.

thanks Richard, I appreciate your points and decided that you're right. Must be a little too cranky this AM and should watch myself. I thank you.

    What I dont understand...
If you don't like the Charles info, just be patient, you will soon get your forum back. But I am curious why the people who dislike the "Charles" stuff, find the need to read and post about it. If you express yourself on the subject, it will just keep the thread running.
I think that should be rethought and rephrased there jj,
How about "If you don't like the Charles info don't read it. this is a forum with a wide range of topics, read others."

Most of Charles related threads are in its own subforum which makes it easier to ignore if you wish.
I am not a "follower" of Charles but am watching the developments with interest as it never has strayed from a positive route.
I have seen some really cool things both here and in the chatroom with a more interactive Atticus .
There is nothing to fear of growth my friends.

It was never lost, just some perspective was.
